Having a child is such a beautiful, precious experience. But for Anna Banner, it's bitter sweet.

At barely 19-years-old, Anna met and fell in love with High-life singer Flavour.

Unbeknownst to her, he was still neck deep in a relationship with his first baby mama Sandra Okagbue, plus several other women.

Anna who was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013, fell pregnant for the superstar and was dumped by Flavour a few months into the pregnancy.

Since birthing her precious princess, Sophia, thousands of Nigerians have been on the fence regarding the situation. While some feel Anna was grown enough to decipher right from wrong and avoid Flavour. Others feel she was too young and was manipulated by the singer.

Some harsh critics have even gone as far as labeling Anna a failure at 20 - with a child, no education, no career.

Is it fair for this young innocent girl to take all the verbal beating she's received from fans while the baby daddy is being praised?

Singer Waje and actress Genevieve Nnaji, share a similar experience to Anna's.

Waje had a baby at 16. And Genny at 15 (according to online reports).

Looking at how Waje and Genevieve's lives turned out - Anna sure has a bright future ahead of her.

A concerned Nigerian shared these heartbreaking images of an extremely malnourished man laying dead inside a gutter along Nigerian Immigration Service junction in Awka, Anambra state.

According to the source, the deceased was a mad man who roamed the Enugu/Onitsha Express Way endlessly until he died of starvation and health related issues.

The corpse which was still fresh at the time the pictures were taken, had flies feasting all over it.

Sad!

The decomposing body of a newborn baby was found today at a dirty canal located under Coker Bridge in Lagos.

According to eyewitness report, the dead baby was discovered by a woman who fries yam around the canal.

The woman believes the baby was thrown into the canal alive but died before anyone even noticed it.

She alerted passersby to help her contact LASG to evacuate the corpse. But while they were busy trying to phone the relevant authorities to report the case, a hungry pig came along and took the baby's corpse away as food.

Can you imagine?

Na wa o , make una see me see wahala for obodo oyibo.

Was in this small hotel, standing jeje trying to get a room o, get some rest o so as to catch a connecting flight next day. A guy, a familiar face while trying to remember where I know him ask me "are you Nigerian to which I reply YES.

Then I asked, and you? He replies with those very fake and irritating accent, "originally Nigeria but now British and he asked, and you?

I answered, originally from Auchi but now and severally from Auchi, surulere, anthony village, Ipaja, apapa, ajegunle, Ikeja, magodo, isale eko, lekki, oh, before I forget, abeokuta, kano, PH and other places too numerous to say. He looked so confused with my reply

I now asked, do you still carry a Nigerian passport? he answered, Yeah, yeah, but you know...

Don't know what happened, but the Lady at the counter just started laughing.

I came down later to request for something, she smiles and had this to say, "I like your reply, there is no way we as a people will get out of poverty when are not proud of who we are".

I later understand that she is a post grad student from Afganistan working part time job at the hotel.

Now, I remember the guy. He is somebody that lives or hangs around the amala joint in Shitta and Bank olemo axis.

LOL!

Only God knows who he married to get papers.

Nigerian international player Victor Anichebe, has slammed Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, for snubbing his request for a picture.

The West Brom striker, 27, who’s a big fan of the hit TV series, bumped into Harington at a London hotel recently.

But it seems Harington was in no mood to mingle with admirers and refused to take a picture with him.

Anichebe, who was not impressed with Harington’s behaviour, took to Twitter to express his disappointment.

Former Nigerian catholic priest, John Adewoye, took to Facebook to celebrate the anniversary of his blossoming relationship with his equally gay Nigerian lover.

Adewoye was ordained a Catholic priest in Ilorin Diocese, Kwara state 28-years ago. And although he’s no longer recognized as a priest in the catholic church, he says he still carries the dignity of the priesthood within him in the LGBT community.

He is a gay activist and counselor. And currently advocates for gay asylum seekers in Chicago.


Via his Facebook page, he wrote:

"Twenty-eight years ago today I was ordained a Catholic priest. Though no longer an official priest in Catholic Church, I carry the dignity of the priesthood with me as it inspires my ministry currently as a counselor, activist and a role model both at my job and in the LGBTI community.

Outside the official priesthood, I thank God, particularly for the gift of freedom and the opportunity to be me and be with others in my shoes. That is only possible by shedding the official priestly regalia.

I feel proud of my past, though not perfect. I feel happy with my present though it is a journey. I thank all those who have supported my life process in any way. I say happy anniversary to me and my lover. John Adewoye"
