FoodMeals You Should Taste In Canada by PALsConcierge(op): 5:20pm On May 04, 2018
When you think the mountains, buildings and lakes are the best of Canada but you haven’t tasted their meals. Food and Canadians go hand-in-hand. They don’t joke with their meals neither will they disappoint you with their recipes. Canadians prepare the simplest but mouth-watering meals. Their meals will always leave you with something to talk about.

From my rating, there are five meals you shouldn’t leave Canada without tasting

Poutine
Any Canadian diner that does not have poutine on their menu is a joke. Poutine is one of the most eccentric and major meal of the Canadians. A meal that leaves you asking for more. What we know as fries is Poutine but with a lot of difference. A real poutine uses peppery meat-based gravy and squeaky curds on fries. Which is why I call it “Fries with a difference.” At first sight, you might be it yucky and disgusting but like I tell people “never judge a book by its cover.”

Poutine is a must-try meal. Taste something different from the normal French fries and Ketchup we are all used to. If you’re up for a real celebration, there are also annual poutine festivals in cities across the country.

Nanaimo Bars
This is a three-layered slice of wonder that just makes you wonder indeed. Canadians know how to make the best meals. Nanaimo Bars are made with a crumb base layer, custard and a thin layer of chocolate on top, which gives the bar a perfect crunch and some other ingredients that blend in so well to leave your mouth watery.

Tourtiere
I call this the “Do I don’t know how Canadians are able to make a pie that gives you a unique taste over and over again. You never step into a diner and ask for a Tourtiere and you taste something different from a tourtiere you ate from a different diner. Tourtiere is typically filled with ground pork, beef, veal or game and a sprinkling of herbs and spices, though in some coastal groundfish is used. The hearty meal is most commonly consumed on Christmas and New Years, though Quebec grocery stores keep it stocked year-round.

Nova Scotian Lobster Rolls
Nova Scotian Lobster Rolls are heavenly. They are one of the favorite meals of the Canadian too. If you desire a meal not too spicy but exciting and delectable then you should taste Nova Scotian Lobster Rolls. This is one the seafood to enjoy in Canada.

Canadian Bacon
This is for all lovers of bacon. The Canadian bacon is an amazing meal that tells the story of a healthy meal. Unlike traditional bacon which comes from the pig’s belly, Canadian

FamilyGet A Job In Canada by PALsConcierge(op): 3:51pm On Apr 27, 2018
Most of the frequent question asked by many is “will I get a job when I get to Canada?” Well, I won’t say you won’t get but there are lots of job opportunities open to immigrants who desire to work in Canada.

Canada is a vibrant and a thriving economy giving residents a wide space for growth and development. Presently, there are so many employment opportunities flying around in Canada. This is because there is labour shortage in some focal sectors and industries in the different cities and provinces in Canada. Hence, some employers in Canada are seeking young and exuberant youths who are qualified and responsible to fill in some of the spaces open.

Despite the fact that Canada has the tenth biggest economy of the world, taking over Russia to feature as the tenth largest economy in 2015, they still have a decrease in employees who will work to build a strong economy ground. The truth is applying for a Permanent Resident Visa as a Federal skilled worker gives you the privilege of being an employee in some of the focal sectors and industries in Canada.

Although, some of the highly sort after are people with training in the healthcare industry, IT, and engineering and also craft workers with skills such as carpentry, electrical expertise, and plumbing are needed by most Canadian employers. It will also interest you to know that some immigrants already working in these sectors and industries are the ones who have been helping Canadian employers grow their businesses.

There are so many job opportunities but it is left to anyone interested to apply. Immigrants who obtained a job offer from a Canadian employer through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, enjoy speed in getting their Permanent Resident Visa. A job offer from a Canadian employer is an added advantage to fast-track your visa application.

Working in Canada is one of the benefits you enjoy when you obtain a PR visa that is why we urge you to first join the Express Entry pool to be part of the 1 million to be selected as immigrants in Canada.

FamilyExpress Entry Cut-off Score Drops To 441 by PALsConcierge(op): 5:48pm On Apr 26, 2018
3,500 Express Entry candidates has been invited by the Government of Canada to apply for permanent residence in a draw that took place yesterday, April 25, 2018 with the cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which was reduced to 441.

The liberal Government of Canada seek to have 3,000 candidates selected every two weeks, all of which will be issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) if they meet the cut-off score. The cut-off score for this draw is three points lower than the previous invitation round on April 11, which had a CRS minimum of 444.

Yesterday’s draw is the second consecutive invitation round where 3,500 candidates were issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs) by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This is the highest number of ITAs in a draw this year.

Despite this spike, it is obvious that the rate of withdrawal of candidates from the pool (3000 every two weeks on the average) is faster than the rate of entry of high ranking candidates with high CRS scores. Consequently, the CRS cut-off score is predicted to go lower over the next draws - a similar trend that saw the CRS cut-off score go as low as 413 to 415 between April and May 2017.

Remember that you can only get an ITA if your profile is in the pool. What are you waiting for? Get your profile into the pool. You don’t know when the next draw will take place with a cut-off CRS score lower than your CRS score.

Do you desire to join the Express Entry pool to qualify for a draw? Then you should consider working with us at Pals Concierge. We are an expert at this and we can help you make this PR process less burdensome. We will help you with the entire process, the sequence, where and what to do, IELTS exam success guide etc.

FamilyFive Things About Canada That Will Interest You by PALsConcierge(op): 11:31am On Apr 25, 2018
If you are thinking of a place to migrate to, think of Canada. Canada is a country that can accommodate any race and sex. A country committed to seeing to the growth of their citizens.

Unlike any other country, Canada is one that considers immigrants as an asset to their economic growth. They have proofed this with budgets they set aside every year for new immigrants.

There are so many things about Canada that will amaze you but these are five things you should know:
• Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia with 9,971,000 square km of land. Based on the latest United Nations estimates, the current population of Canada is 36, 886, 676 as of Thursday, April 19, 2018. Their population is equivalent to 0.48% of the world’s population, which is just a little above the population of Lagos as a city, just to keep it in perspective for you, despite being the 2nd largest Country by area. It is the second largest but has the fourth lowest population density in the world which is why Canada has decided to accommodate 1million immigrants who will reside in their country. Not only have they decided to accommodate, they have also made several funds available for immigrants.

• Canada is the world’s most educated country with over half of its residents having college degrees. Some of the best schools in the world are located in Canada. The education system in Canada is one that contributes positively in the lives of their students. Canada is one of the countries that offer the best education to their citizens. They also give immigrants the privilege of enjoying free education i.e. immigrants with children under the age of 18, have right to free education in Canada.

• Canada has the longest coastline in the world which is 244,00 km long. The coastline in the world is surrounded by the Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic ocean. The Atlantic Ocean sometimes freezes so people play hockey on it. It is a lovely sight to behold. Canada is really a place to have fun.

• Canada has the tenth biggest economy of the world taking over Russia Canada took over Russia to feature as the tenth largest economy in 2015. It’s $1.6 trillion is expected to touch $1.9 trillion by 2022, maintaining its lead over Russia. Canada has a highly service-oriented economy with a solid growth in manufacturing as well as in the oil and petroleum sector.

• Canada has a cleaning service called “Cleaning for a Reason”. Here, a team cleans the houses of women with cancer for free so they can focus on their health. The health of every citizen is a priority with everyone looking out for the best of each other.
Canada, is indeed a place to be. A country that not only host immigrants but also cares about their wellbeing. Canada is a home for all.

Do you know that unlike many other developed countries, Canada is the only one currently accepting large numbers of immigrants regularly?
Every country at one point had their own immigration systems whereby they granted entry to immigrants to their country. EducationWhy You Should Make The Move To Get Your Canada Permanent Residency Now by PALsConcierge(op):
I know many of us would be asking ourselves, why there is a buzz about Canada? With the publicity and news flying around I guess you should be wondering… ‘’what is in this Canada sef?’’ or why is everyone talking about it?

Do you know that unlike many other developed countries, Canada is the only one currently accepting large numbers of immigrants regularly? Every country at one point had their own immigration systems whereby they granted entry to immigrants to their country. But unfortunately, most of such countries have now gotten the required number, so they have now closed up those systems. Canada is the only country open to immigrants currently through the Express Entry System for Skilled Migrants. Although news has it that by 2020, Canada would have gotten their required number of immigrant, hence, they also will stop or at least stiffen the criteria for letting immigrants into their country. For instance, some recent graduate students in Australia are finding it hard to get their permanent residency there and are currently working with us on applying for a permanent residency in Canada.

What an opportunity!

You might be thinking that 2020 is still far but it isn’t! Canada needs young and youthful immigrants in their country, so the older you get, the lower your chances of getting a permanent residency visa. How? you may ask. Well, there are required points every candidate applying for a Permanent Resident Visa must meet to make them eligible for a PR Visa, and age is a major factor that contributes to your score. So yes! the earlier the better. You don’t have to wait till 2019 or 2020 to start processing your visa to Canada.

Now you have an idea why they are presently accepting immigrants into their country to occupy the country. They also believe immigrants will be able to make major contribution to their economic growth. Compare that with the United States of America which is the biggest in terms of world economy largely due to its population. Also, records show that the death rate in Canada is increasing more than the birth rate which has caused its declining population. Canada needs immigrants to fill their labour shortages.

Amazingly, Canada has become one of the most popular destinations for immigrants. Its reputation as a diverse and economically stable country has led to an increase in the number of immigrants who now call it home. The standard of living in Canada is one of the best in the world ranking in the top 10 of the countries with the highest life expectancy. Canada is often referred to as a Cultural Mosaic built by a society that respects and celebrates the cultures of many countries from around the world. Cultural Mosaic refers to the coming together of several ethnic groups, cultures and a mix of languages that coexist within a society.

Still asking yourself why you should move? With your permanent resident visa, you can become a citizen after 3 years of living in Canada and you will also have access to most of the benefits that citizens of Canada enjoy as a PR holder. When it comes to education, you get to enjoy a subsidized post-secondary education provided by the federal government. As a permanent resident, if you have a child below the age of 18, that child has a right to quality free education in the Canadian public school system. How lovely is that?

Just for the comfort of immigrants, the Canadian government committed the sum of $1 billion to helping new immigrants settle in Canada. They did this to save new immigrants the pain of looking for jobs, where to live and even schools for their children.

There are so many benefits to enjoy getting a Permanent Visa to Canada. Are you thinking of a getting a job? There are tons of job opportunities waiting for skilled immigrants in Canada. Skilled immigrants are people who have a minimum of 1 years work experience. With your skill, you are able to work in any organization. Canada has an aging population most of whom have retired from the labour force, so they need young skilled immigrants to fill those ever increasing vacancies.

The countdown to 2020 started this year, don’t miss out on the opportunity to move to Canada. You can be one of the 3000 successful immigrants who are selected every 2 weeks to move to Canada in 2018. Let’s make the process simpler for you

Hello Kemokazi, there is no set score for ITA to be issued. IRCC decides what the scores will be at every draw. However, the last draw which held on April 11 had a cut-off score 444. The scores could reduce in future draws but we cannot say for sure.

Hello nogara,

With your profile, you are eligible for the Canada Express Entry application for a permanent residency status.
You have a very good chance of getting an ITA, but you have to take the General IELTS module as you can not use the Academics for Express Entry application.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by PALsConcierge: 3:47pm On Mar 06, 2018
Yes you can include it as this may improve your chances of being selected to apply for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You may also choose to exclude it if you already have at least 2 years post NYSC paid work experience. Best of luck in your application.

Kingkong101:
I am about to file in application for Canada PR. During my NYSC, I serve under a ministry which in turn deployed us to a construction company and we were paid every month by the company aside the normal allowe from federal government..

My question is, will it be advisable to include the NYSC experience year in my application for Canada immigration..

Pls I need your advise..Thanks
