Family / Make Your Baby A Citizen Of Canada (family) by PALsConcierge: 3:53pm On Aug 31, 2018
Are you pregnant and thinking of giving birth in another country? Then you should think of Canada. Did you know that anyone born in Canada is a citizen of Canada? Here, you are giving your child a birthright citizenship.

Getting a permanent resident visa makes it easy for any pregnant woman to freely give birth in Canada. Presently, the government of Canada is working on changing the law that allows women to give birth in Canada. Hence, only children of Canadian citizens or permanent residents can receive citizenship by birth.

This means that without your Canadian PR visa, giving birth in Canada is almost impossible. Although being born in Canada is not the only way to achieve Canadian citizenship. You can be a citizen of Canada if one of your parents or grandparents is a citizen or you apply for a permanent resident visa which covers not only you but also your unborn child.

There are various immigration programs that grant you access to becoming a citizen of Canada. If you go through the required process for Canada immigration and you are successful, it automatically grants you access to being a citizen of Canada and amazingly, it only takes about six months or less to immigrate to Canada. Additionally, if you had temporary status in Canada (i.e. a student or authorized worker) you can count half of that amount of time towards the residency requirements.

Being a permanent resident in Canada, you can begin to start planning how to give birth and amazingly, with your PR card, you get to enjoy so many benefits which include free health services. This health service also covers your childbirth expenses.

This is an opportunity to make your child a citizen of Canada without having to go through the stress of applying for a visa which most times get turned down.

So, if you are at an early stage in your pregnancy, this is an opportunity for you to freely give birth to your baby in Canada. The process to make this happen is easy and stress-free as long as you meet the necessary requirement needed.

Family / Canada In Need Of Skilled Workers by PALsConcierge: 3:35pm On Aug 14, 2018
Most of the common questions immigrants ask themselves is will I get a job in Canada? Canada has not made easy for people to come into their country but they have also give people the opportunity to come to Canada and work.

Amazingly there are tons of job opportunities in Canada. According to the latest Help Wanted Report from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) showed Canada's job vacancy rate hit 3.1 percent in the April-to-June quarter this year which is the highest rate since the CFIB started tracking this data in 2004.

Presently, Canada now has the lowest job vacancy rate on record. There are many jobs in Canada which have not been occupied for. It is no doubt that Canada has a labor shortage and this is the reason why they are looking for young and vibrant youths to come to their country and fill these vacant spaces. If you are hoping to immigrate to Canada and you have the skills required in Canada, then this an opportunity!

There are job openings in Canada which have been vacant for four months or more. This is actually an opportunity for people who want to immigrate to Canada. Every day, job vacancies keep increasing and Canada keep looking for skilled workers to fill up the vacancies. The job vacancies rate is proof that Canada’s economy is growing, hence, they need more workers. Currently, there are nearly 400,000 jobs in Canada which have been vacant for four months or longer.

A job vacancy rate of 3.1% means that for every 100 jobs in Canada, there are three jobs which are not just available, but which have been searching for a worker for the past four months! This is great news for those with the skills needed to fill these openings.
So you are asking if you would get a job in Canada, Yes, of course, you will just as long as apply for one but the first thing you have to do is start processing your Canada immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker program.

Every province in Canada has its own immigration programs to meet its own economic needs. Many of these programs target workers with experience in certain occupations with high vacancy rates. Provinces like Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, and other provinces are in need of skilled workers.

So do you want to live and work in Canada? This is an opportunity for you. There are job openings you need to take advantage of.

Family / 96th Express Entry Draw Issues 3,750 Candidates ITA by PALsConcierge: 3:42pm On Aug 08, 2018
The 96th express entry draw which held today, August 8th, 2018 has invited 3,750 candidates to apply for a permanent residence visa in Canada with the cut-off score which dropped to 440.

Amazingly, this is the second time the CRS is dropping to 440 so there is a possibility that this score will drop to 430 as the cut-off score for this 2018 has stayed within the low range of average score.

Predicting the CRS scores is impossible but it is advisable to have an Express Entry profile so you don’t miss out as this score could drop lower than normal. The lowest CRS which was 413 was recorded in May 2017 but you never can tell if it could go lower in 2018.

The important thing is to first have your profile ready for a draw so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to be selected.
The earlier you submit your profile to the Express Entry pool, the better your chances of receiving an ITA. You don’t know when the next draw will take place with a cut-off CRS score lower than your CRS score.

Do you desire to join the Express Entry pool to qualify for a draw? Then you should consider working with us at Pals Concierge. We are an expert at this and we can help you make this PR process less burdensome. We will help you with the entire process, the sequence, where and what to do, IELTS exam success guide etc.

Family / Is My Age Ok For Canada Immigration? by PALsConcierge: 5:57pm On Aug 03, 2018
So many of us are still asking ourselves if we can proceed with our application for Canada immigration. Although age is a priority when applying for Canada immigration, there is still an opportunity for everyone.

But still, it is important you know how your age affects your chances of been nominated for Canada Immigration. This will help you know your options and timeline.

So, If you are at least anywhere below 30 i.e. 18-30, you are most welcome to Canada. Like you are so eligible to apply. You can decide to study, work and enjoy the privileges Canada has to offer. So if you fall under this age, don’t lose this opportunity.

For 35+, you need to begin as soon as possible. Here, your points start to drop. You will either have to go through the Provincial Nominee Program or either study very well to score high in your IELTS test and have masters or doctorate degree. It is important to start immediately if you are within this age and interested to immigrate to Canada, simply because the older you get, the lower your CRS score. If you have watched our previous videos, you will have heard that Canada immigration program is a point based system. Factors like Your Age, Work Experience, Education, IELTS, Siblings in Canada are allotted scores.

For 40+, immigrating to Canada is still possible but we will be looking at you scoring very well in your IELTS. Also, your spouse will also have to take the test to boost your points in your Express Entry profile. If you still don’t meet the points for Express Entry, you will then have to go through the Provincial Nominee Program.

At 49 +, unfortunately, you don’t stand the chance. You can only come to Canada through sponsorship. Here, your children who meet the requirements will apply for Canada Immigration. When they get their PR visa, they can then sponsor you into Canada. You may ask why does age matter, well, Canada wants to bring in people who still have many more active years towards their economic advancement.

The earlier you start, the higher your chances of immigrating to Canada. Don’t wait, make use of the opportunity now. Remember your age can either be an added advantage or a disadvantage.

Family / Two Things You Must Have To Begin Your Canada Immigration Process by PALsConcierge: 2:37pm On Aug 02, 2018
The journey to Canada is very much easy and simple all you have to do is know the basic requirements needed. No one ever starts a journey without making appropriate preparation for the journey.

Just after your decision to immigrate, there two basic requirements you must have ready to help you begin. They include:

1. IELTS:
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a very important and required test anyone who is either applying for study, work or a visa to Canada must take. It is compulsory. First, you need to understand that without IELTS your visa application is incomplete. It is not just a document to submit but a required document that shows that you understand and can speak English fluently. If you desire to be a resident of Canada, IELTS will pave the way for you.

Sometimes, some people ask why they are required to take the test since they are from English speaking countries. All applicants, again all applicants are required to do this test, it's a way to standardize their eligibility criteria.
Honestly, it is really not about taking the test, you must take the test and ensure to get a very good score. The higher your score, the higher your chances of getting a Canadian permanent resident visa. The success of your immigration process is 90% dependent on your IELTS.

2. ECA:
Educational Credential Assessment is important. Here, you request your transcript from the institution you graduated from. When your transcript is ready, it is then sent to a body in Canada called WES (World Education Services) for evaluation. Why is this important? You may ask. Doing this is necessary so that the government can gain recognition for your education so you can pursue your goals in Canada and be able to store your report and verified educational documents for future use.

For many applicants who desire to work or study in Canada, this is very important. It boosts your chances of getting a good job in Canada.
These documents are what is needed for the first stage of your Canada immigration. They determine if you will be selected from the pool or not. Hence, it is important to have them ready so as not to delay your process.

With a permanent resident visa, there is no room for rejection as long as you meet the requirement needed to make your immigration possible.

Family / Why Your Family Canada Visitor’s Visa Will Be Denied by PALsConcierge: 3:47pm On Jul 27, 2018
Despite the fact that Canada is a liberal and ever-accommodating country, there are certain things they will not tolerate. Of course, they want people to have access to their country but they will not permit it when rules are not followed.

The number of people who apply for a Canadian visitor’s visa increase every year and the sad thing is they get refused. In 2017, almost 600,000 people were refused visitor visas for short stays in Canada. Sadly, this refusal also affected people who have the intention of traveling for tourism, business, school, conferences, or to visit their families and friends.

In 2018, the refusal rate is over 50% causing the immigration officials in Canada to restructure the system of visitor visa applications to make it more lenient, hence, reducing the rate of refusal. Visitor visas are one of the requested types of status in Canada. People use this as an advantage to access Canada which has left the immigration officials with so many questions and worries.

Most applicants don’t do well at convincing the immigration officer when asked certain questions on the purpose of their visit. This is one of the major reasons why people get refused a visitor visa. One of the questions most people fail to answer well is the question on your exit from Canada at the end of your period of stay. You should be able to convince the officials that you will return as soon as your visit permit expires.

Also, another important thing an applicant should be able to do is to provide a detailed information on their travel history, they should be able to show that they have funds for the travel that shows that they can afford their stay in Canada prior to the time their visa expires. If the officials see that your proof of funds that meet up the required amount, then your visa will be rejected. This also affects other types of visas you intend applying for.

Why go through the stress of applying for a visitor’s visa and still get rejected when you could just go through the immigration process that grants you access to any part in Canada for a long period of time?

With a permanent resident visa, there is no room for rejection as long as you meet the requirement needed to make your immigration possible.

Family / Time Limit For Canadian Permanent Visa Application Reduces by PALsConcierge: 11:59am On Jun 29, 2018
The government of Canada has reduced the time limit for every permanent residence visa application once candidates receive an ITA through the Express Entry program. Hence, candidates who come through the Express Entry program, are given 60days to submit their electronic application for permanent residency.

Before now, candidates had 90days to submit their application but due to the increasing demand for immigrants, the time limit has been reduced to 60days. Nevertheless, candidates who received an ITA before June 26, 2018, still have 90days but any ITA received after this date, will require 60days for submission of all electronic application for permanent residence.

The consequence for not submitting your application within 60days is that you lose a chance of immigrating to Canada. When this happens, regaining the opportunity will be very difficult. So it is necessary that all documents should be rightly put in place to ensure your immigration process go well.

What are the documents? You may ask. The necessary documentation a candidate should put in place includes travel documents, work history, medical result, police clearance certificates, education credentials, language test results, and proof of financial funds. Without these documents, your immigration will not be possible.

Some documents take longer to process than others. They require you to first book several appointments and go through a lot of verifications to get them which may tend to take time. It is important to have your documents ready before you get an ITA.

Family / IRCC Issues 3,750 Candidates ITA by PALsConcierge: 5:06pm On Jun 13, 2018
3,750 Express Entry candidates have been invited by the Government of Canada to apply for permanent residence in a draw that took place today, 13th of June, 2018 with the cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which was slightly increased 451.

Although the CRS score required to receive an ITA this year, 2018, has been 440s and 450s, there is still hope that if the draws become more frequent, or if the IRCC increase the number of invitation issued per draw, then the CRS score is most likely going to drop.

Today’s draw is the first of its kind where 3,750 candidates were issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs) by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This is the highest number of ITAs in a draw this year.

The earlier you submit your profile to the Express Entry pool, the better your chances of receiving an ITA. You don’t know when the next draw will take place with a cut-off CRS score lower than your CRS score.

Family / Your Canadian Visa Can Be Ready In Less Than 4 Months by PALsConcierge: 4:01pm On Jun 13, 2018
Do you know the application for Canadian Immigration is being processed faster than any other visa?

The government of Canada has put more concentration into bringing immigrants into their country. They need immigrants in their country. To this effect, they came up with a speedy method to make immigration application easy which is the Express Entry Program.

Family / Three Reasons Why Most People Will Not Get A Canadian Permanent Visa by PALsConcierge: 3:22pm On Jun 12, 2018
One thing I keep telling people is to grab an opportunity, it only comes once. The same way we hardly see a falling star is the same we hardly get opportunities. Getting an opportunity is as important as winning a lottery.

As important as it is to get an opportunity if you want to stop missing out on incredible opportunities, the first step is to understand why you’re missing them now.

Below are three major reasons why many people might not get a permanent visa to Canada.

 People’s opinion:
Many of us have clouded our minds with the opinions of others that we don’t see the opportunity right in front of us. Opinions are personal views of people which is not definitely the truth. Some walk up to you and say “I think you shouldn’t do this or that”. It is their thoughts not the truth. You “think”, not you know. They have told you if you apply for a permanent resident visa, you will not get but they are in no position to tell you whether or not you will.

 Assumptions:
In the words of a great man “Assumption is the mother of frustration”. We assume and assume till we become frustrated. An opportunity comes your way; you assume it won’t work for you. That is a wrong mindset. If it won’t work, it won’t have come. It is very sad that many of us have been scammed when it comes applying for a permanent resident visa. But still, it is wrong to think all consultants will do same to you. The best way to avoid being scammed is to get a detailed information about the consulting firm you intend to engage.

 Procrastination
The popularly saying “procrastination is a thief of time” is not a myth. It is the fact. The longer you procrastinate, the more you miss every opportunity that comes your way. Remember the nursery school rhyme “Thick, thick says the clock. What you have to do, do quick!” Quit procrastinating and your opportunity comes to your doorstep.

But trust me when I tell you this can be avoided. Getting a Canadian permanent visa right now is an opportunity that will not only favour you now but will favour you for a long time.

Presently, Canada is the fourth most-accepting country in the world when it comes to immigrants. Canada has become one of the most popular destinations for immigrants. Its reputation as a diverse and economically stable country has led to an increase in the number of immigrants who now call it home.

It is for this reason that the government of Canada has decided to welcome 1 million immigrants from 2018 to 2020 through the Express Entry system giving families and individuals a great opportunity to immigrate to their country.

Aeroplanes don’t wait for anybody so is an opportunity. Come 2020, the opportunity for immigrants to immigrate to Canada will come to a halt. What are you waiting for? Aeroplanes always have time for take-off, when it is time, it cannot be stopped except for good reasons.

With the Canadian passport, you can travel to most countries without having to obtain a visa. Travelling to a different with the Canadian passport is less stressful and very much a smooth experience. Depending on your reason to travel, you can visit most countries without having to deal with diplomatic bureaucracy.

Amazingly, the Canada passport is ranked the 6th in the world giving great opportunities to many citizens. Many Canadians have the privilege to enter about 159 countries without having to apply for a visa.

Despite the benefits the Canadian passport offers, there are penalties to face when the passport is being misused. It is advisable not to take the privileges granted by prolonging your stay in a country that allowed you to enter visa-free. Every country has set rules anyone visiting must abide by. For example, there are time limits on how long foreign nationals can remain in a country without holding a valid visa. Hence, when you get the opportunity to travel to another country with the Canadian passport, don’t exceed the time limit given to you.

However, it is important to know that only citizens and immigrants who have the passport are privileged to enjoy the benefits the Canadian passport offer. If you plan on working or studying in Canada and you are not a citizen, then you will have to apply for a visa that allows you to stay in Canada for that purpose.

On the other hand, in 2017, Canada was ranked the 79th most welcoming country in the world. This means people who plan on travelling to Canada find it difficult because of some of the restrictions that have been set in place by the government of Canada. Only, 51 nations are permitted to enter into Canada without a visa but any Canadian citizen who carries a Canadian passport can enter any country without any trouble as long as they abide by the regulations put in place as regards to their travelling.

Family / How Canada Immigration Works by PALsConcierge: 5:35pm On May 31, 2018
Canada is a progressive and a modern society that welcomes immigrants from around the world offering them new opportunities and a new life. Every year, millions of people all over the world travel to Canada either for visit, work or for study while most people get opportunities to make Canada their permanent home every year.

This does not mean Canada offer a free pass to anyone who wants to be in Canada, they only offer opportunities to people who are willing to follow the process they have put in place to make their immigration possible.

Not following the process put in place by the government of Canada, then your entering into Canada is termed “Illegal” and when this is done, you will be intercepted and arrested by the police. This can actually deprive you of other opportunities like visiting or settling in another country.
As the world globalizes in terms of nations’ economies, trade and investment, borders are opened up more easily for freer flow of goods and products which gives people the opportunity to move around the world. Some people take advantage of this the right way while some, come up with different tactics all with the aim to relocate to another country.

There are, however, many legitimate ways to go to Canada to visit, live, study and work in Canada. Most people have been able to move successfully to Canada because they thoroughly followed Canada’s economic immigration programs.

These are some of the immigration programs the government of Canada has put in place to make immigration possible and easy:

1. Express Entry: To immigrate to Canada, the first step you have to take is to open a profile under Express Entry. Express Entry is a point-based system to know if you qualify for a permanent visa to Canada. In the profile, you receive points based on your language ability, education, skills, and experience. Every two weeks, candidates with high points are invited to apply for a permanent residence visa.

2. Provincial Nominee Program: Here, the different provinces in Canada nominates immigrants based on certain criteria they have set in place.

3. Start-up Visa Program: This program focuses mainly on entrepreneurs who have ideas and the support of Canadian investors are most likely going to be a permanent resident in Canada as well as launch their business there.

4. Caregiver Program: individuals with first-hand experience in providing in-home care to children or people with are medical needs can apply for a permanent residence under this program.

These are the some of the major programs anyone who desires to relocate to Canada can go through to make their immigration successful. Besides the opportunity the government of Canada has given to apply for a permanent residence, there are also several ways a person can go to Canada. It could be on the basis of a tourist, worker or students.

Going to Canada through the right process is the best and secured way of making your immigration smooth. Immigration will never cease to be a vital part of the growth of Canadian society and the Canadian economy but the best way to be welcomed by Canada is to apply through any of the immigration programs.

Family / Just Before You Think Of Immigrating With Your Family by PALsConcierge: 10:36am On May 30, 2018
I know immigrating to another country is pretty much the most exciting experience anyone can ever have most especially when you have your approved passport just in your hands. You know that joy you feel that cannot be explained. I relate too but I think for me, I don’t just want to have my approved passport in my hands and not counting the costing for relocating. Believe me, it could be scary sometimes.

I have attended to so clients who call to express their interest towards relocating to Canada but when they hear some of the requirements, they backed out of the plan. For me, I believe planning matters a lot before embarking on the quest to immigrate. You don’t want to start a process you cannot go through with.

Before you plan a move to another country, there are some loose ends you need to tie up so you don’t get disappointed or stranded in the process.

Family / Express Entry Latest Draw; 3,500 Itas Issued by PALsConcierge: 12:28pm On May 24, 2018
With just about a week to end the month of May, another large Express Entry draw has held on Mya 23 2018. A total of 3,500 ITAs have been issued in this draw and the Comprehensive Ranking System score dropped to its lowest so far in 2018, from 441 in the last draw to 440.

So far, 3,500 ITAs have been issued in the four different draws that have held in April and May. The tie-break rule was applied for this draw. The time and date for this were December 30, 2017, at 06:39:40 UTC. It means that candidates who had submitted their profiles earlier were considered for this latest draw. It also shows that all candidates who had submitted their profile on or before this time and date and who had a CRS score of 440 and above were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

This draw is the tenth to hold in 2018 and many more will still hold in the course of the year. Total number of ITAs issued in the draws that have taken place this year are 31, 500.

To submit a profile in the pool and eventually apply for permanent residency, candidates must meet Express Entry’s eligibility requirements for at least one of the immigration programs under the Express Entry System.

It is always hoped that larger invitation rounds will have a lowering effect on the CRS cut-off scores in the future. It is very important to submit your profile to the Express Entry pool of candidates early as this could improve your chances of getting an ITA.

Family / Highly Skilled Immigrants Fare Better Than The Average Canadian by PALsConcierge: 2:37pm On May 15, 2018
It has been reported by the Canadian Government that economic immigrants who are highly skilled earn more than the average Canadian’s annual income not long after they arrive Canada. The Canadian Press secured this information through an Access to Information request. In this report, the economic and social activities of new immigrants were assessed.

According to the Canadian Press, account shows that all immigrants generally are doing well economically. However, highly skilled immigrants tend to do better in all. They earn annual incomes on par with or more than the national average not long after they arrive in Canada. Some of the managerial and professional positions in Canada are often occupied by immigrants from the economic class.

It was also discovered that newcomers who become citizens of Canada, usually feel this sense of belonging than people who were born there and those that are yet to gain their citizenship.

Education / Canada Student Visas Are Harder To Get by PALsConcierge: 2:48pm On May 11, 2018
Do you know getting a Permanent Resident Visa is way easier than getting a Student Visa?

Most of us rush to apply for a student visa because we think it is a quick passage to enter Canada. if you have this thought, then you are wrong.

Many people don’t know that there is certainly a better way to migrate to Canada. It’s called the Express Entry Program. First introduced on January 1st, 2015, it’s been improved upon and made more ‘migrant friendly’ a number of times in 2016 and 2017.

The Program is currently at the most lenient state and it’s the fastest permanent immigration routes that exist today, hence our advice – ‘make hay while the sun shines’

Unlike student Visa, the process sometimes takes longer than when you applying for a Permanent Resident visa.

Family / The Three-year Canada Immigration Plan by PALsConcierge: 5:43pm On May 08, 2018
It is no joke that government of Canada wants immigration into their country. They released an immigration plan which was published on November 1, 2017. The immigration plan seeks to target 980,000 new permanent residents to the country having a majority of the immigrants settle as economic immigrants and 242, 100 who will come through some programs managed under the Express Entry System.

The Express Entry System has indeed been successful in bringing in thousands of immigrants into Canada as well as making it easy for foreign workers and graduates in Canada transition to permanent resident status.

To aid the immigration plan, the federal government of Canada has worked with the various provinces in settling up to 183,00 new permanent residents through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) from 2018-2020.

The government has been able to set up a program called the Family Class Program which will welcome about 265, 500 spouses, common-law partners, dependent children, parents, and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Canada is known as a safe haven for people in need. They have planned to settle up to 137, 350 refugees, as well as up to 12, 250 for humanitarian and other reasons.

Generally, the government seek to welcome 310,00 new permanent residents in 2018, followed by 330,000 in 2019, and 340,000 in 2020.
