usbcable:You hope he benches casemiro for whom? |
The double is becoming even more realistic. Ktbffh |
mukina2:And so it Would be. |
xynerise:long time. Your bad belle still dey kampe. |
raumdeuter:are you forgetting Hazard had a hand in the set up to all goals scored? |
Why do our ex-players like to score against us. The likes of fabio borini have made it an habit. |
Lol. The league is ours. |
Na so. |
Diego Costa's 50 Premier League goals have come in 85 games - one fewer than Luis Suarez's half-century. Cesc Fabregas (103) is now outright second for most Premier League assists, one ahead of Frank Lampard (102), but still well below Ryan Giggs (162). |
raumdeuter:lol disappoint for once. As soon as Hazard scored and I opened this thread and saw your moniker, I knew this was what you would post. |
Nihilist:whatever it is that made you hate Messi I don't think it is football related since Messi has always been a good boy when playing against Chelsea. |
optional1:Nah June. |
optional1:Oh your birthday is in may? |
This thread has been buzzing. Nice analysis all round. |
CaesarX:Oh thanks. |
optional1:done. Happy birthday wishing you long life and prosperity. |
TEAM NEWS Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has returned to training after gastroenteritis and could be involved against Southampton on Tuesday. Head coach Antonio Conte is likely to recall Diego Costa and Eden Hazard after leaving them out for the FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham. Southampton midfielder Oriel Romeu is available to face his former side after completing a two-match ban. Sam McQueen is set to miss the fixture because of a minor groin strain. Long-term absentees Matt Targett and Charlie Austin will return to training later this week. WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte: "I have in my mind the starting 11 but tomorrow I want to check very well the physical consideration of every single player as our last game was an intense one and used energy. "But we have trained very well this season and we have a lot of energy to face this type of situation. "It is important for us to win and look at ourselves, but we all know that tomorrow it won't be easy because Southampton is a very good team with a good coach and good players." Southampton manager Claude Puel on the importance of Oriol Romeu: "I think he's not far off [N'Golo] Kante. He recovers the ball so well and is a technical player. "He's an important player for this team because he can do fantastic work to recover the ball and start the play. It's difficult for us without him. "We will see for the future, we are confident in him and, for me, he can look to getting in the selection with Spain, for example." MATCH FACTS Head-to-head Chelsea have only won three of their last eight Premier League matches against Southampton at Stamford Bridge, and lost last season's fixture 3-1. However, Chelsea have only lost two of the 16 meetings between the clubs since 2002 (W9, D5). Chelsea The Blues have lost two of their last four league games, twice as many as in the previous 22 matches. Chelsea have gone 10 Premier League games without keeping a clean sheet for the first time since a run of 13 matches in December 1996. Diego Costa's next Premier League goal will be his 50th in the competition but he could fail to score in six consecutive league appearances for the first time since January 2013 . Eden Hazard has equalled his best return of 14 Premier League goals in a season. He has only once scored more often in a campaign: 20 goals for Lille in 2011-12. Southampton Southampton have won three of their last four Premier League away games, scoring 10 goals. Claude Puel's side haven't beaten a team currently in the top six of the Premier League all season, drawing two and losing six. Manolo Gabbiadini scored six goals in his first four appearances for the Saints but has failed to add to that tally in his last two games. Cedric Soares could become the first Southampton player since Kevin Davies in 2001 to receive a yellow card in four consecutive Premier League matches. http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/39625846 |
jonsnow92:How did he hold the shirt like that sef. Or isnt the jersey cotton. |
Did Cw postpone Episode release? I just checked the two sites I download series from and I discovered that no New episode has been released since the last one. |
Kante wins PFA POTY. Congrats to him. By the way Alli wins PFA young player of the year for the second time in a row. Dele na my guy jare. |
bykebyke:He is breaking all goal records there is to break except for all goals records by pele, that 1000+ goals still dey surprise me. Barcelona for the double. Messi for Ballon d'or and fifa best player. |
raumdeuter:Yes o. The gospel of messi would be preached to Infidels by the power of the cane soaked in water for a day. Nihilist come here and declare Messi the GOAT. |
raumdeuter:No sire. A two foot lunge deserves a red card any day for me especially when it done on a GOAT. I am just commenting on how Ramos likes to shower early during classicos. |
raumdeuter:And he is the best ever, can't believe I joined the crowd to say evil about Messi. Stuff like without Xavi and Iniesta there is no Messi. God forgive me for i knoweth not what I was saying. |
Nihilist:lol see me dey look you with one eye. |
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is off! It's a straight red. The defender chops down Lionel Messi on the halfway line. Everyone is expecting a yellow card but he is outta here. A replay shows it was a two-footed lunge. Lunatic. Barcelona defender Gerard Pique - one of my favourite centre-backs in the world because of how he appears in the opposition box at random times - almost makes it 3-1. Andre Gomes crosses it and Pique, who thinks he's a striker, shoots straight at Keylor Navas. Seconds later, he puts Cristiano Ronaldo under enough pressure to get his shot over the bar at the other end. In fact it should have been a corner. What a man. What. A. Man. Ramos and his Madness, contrast and compare with pique. |
SIRcumalot:oshey irunmole. |
bykebyke:This is my GOAT in football. Maximum respect. Hala Messi |
Elnino4ladies:lol Na fact nau. |
raumdeuter:Ramos without a red card in a classico means the classico was boring minus the destruction of Madrid at the bernabeu two seasons ago. |
This BBC live reporter must be a Barca supporter. But Nihilist man, sentiments apart Messi is better than Ronaldo given that he is a complete player and he is more talented, it has been confirmed repeatedly for me. |
Nihilist:Today is a good day for you, Pep dumped out, Crystal spanks your Paddy Klopp 2-1, all it needs to be perfect is an Hat-trick from Ronaldo to help Madrid trash Barcelona. |
