Your visa does not allow you to simply chill in the US.

He doesn't need to return to Nigeria. With a new I-20 issued by the new school you can apply to the Department of Homelands Security (I hope I got the name right) for update of your I-20.

I remember my son once changed college without returning to Nigeria.

For xyz i think its still possible but if it was me i would then get a new i20 for xyz reflecting fall . Travel with that and the next day start the transfer to Abc. ... technically this is not wrong so world people free me

Yes you can transfer and if it the next semester then you dont need to re appear or apply for a new visa you just need an updated i20. Although what.i am sure about is if you are attending the same school

Thanks for ur response. However, it's a different sch and different semester. More precisely, Like school xyz in Texas (spring 2018) to sch ABC in Kentucky (Fall 2018)

It is possible to transfer as I just did that. I transferred without spending a semester at my current school. I arrived early this month.

I have gained admission for Spring 2018 in a University and their Cost of attendance is about $18k. However, that is not my 1st Choice school. If after securing my visa and traveling to the US, and I get admission into my more preferred university for Fall 2018 which offer GA and tuition waiver, can I do a transfer? And if yes, do I have to return immediately to Nigeria or I can chill in the states till I can resume in my preferred institution?

Please what are the chances that I wouldn't be out of status?

"It would be an understatement to say that everyone at Wolves has been shocked and saddened to hear the news of Carl's diagnosis," said Wolves' managing director Laurie Dalrymple.

"That relates to both players and staff as Carl has been at the club for a very long time and remains such an integral personality within the group.

"At the same time, we all know what a fighter and a competitor Carl is, and I have no doubt that he will take all of those attributes into this battle."

1. Schools will want to see the whole transcript, so yes, they use the whole thing. But it'll be a plus for your final GPA if your grades in the 4th and 5th years are better than the rest.
2. They mean your admission depends on funding. They would only be able to admit you, if you can provide your own funding.

If that is the case for 1. above, I hope that my GPA would be above 2.75/4.0 when it's evaluated.

Secondly, the school said something about issuing a revised I-20 if I get a GA which comes with tuition waiver. I guess this bolster the point you're trying to make right?

Good evening gurus and experienced pros in the house. Pls there are somethings that have been bothering me for some time and I need clarification on them:
1. I had a really low GPA : 2.60/5.0. However, my latter days in school were much better that the former. When WES is evaluating a transcript, do they use the full academic transcript or do they use from 3rd year or 4th year in a 5year program?
2. I have already applied to a school with a rolling admission but they insist on me providing document of financial support before I'm given admission. Is this abnormal

Please, anyone who has an answer to these questions should pls not hesitate to respond.

Oh....any offense with that? Actually,over here in my school,we have a whatsapp group including our lss coordinator and communication between us and ptdf is enhanced so I think its ok.
