BusinessNeed A Business Idea I Can Start Up With 1 Million Naira by pandapluto(op): 6:06pm On Dec 10, 2017
Hello everyone,
I'm seriously in need of a biz idea I can start with a million naira and I'm ready to monitor the biz. I'm a graduate with M.Sc and I'm a civil servant and I work in Abuja. I realised its very difficult to make it in life as a civil servant in Nigeria without cutting corners. I plan resigning if I can get a biz that I feel is worth it cos I won't want it to affect my output at my place of work.

Pls, I don't want advise on cryptocurrencies . I need a legitimate and a profitable business. I have a quickteller/paypoint shop that gets me average of 200k a month but I want more. I'm 24 yrs old and I plan settling down if things can be right.

Thanks as I await your replies.

‘Rebuilding to Regain’
On behalf of members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, i dedicate this mandate to the Almighty God who it has pleased to make this convention successful and grant us this opportunity to serve our great party. We give all glory to God and we commit PDP into his hands.

I stand before you this day, humbled by the mandate you just given to my colleagues and I to lead this great party at this time in Nigeria’s political history. We wholeheartedly accept it with extreme gratitude.

Eighteen years ago specifically February 14, 1999, this party made history with its first ever national convention in Jos, Plateau State and since then, has grown to become undisputedly, the largest political party on the African continent.

I recall that before that, precisely on the 19th of August, 1998, our founding fathers gathered here in Abuja to give birth to this party whose aims and objectives were patriotic, with lofty and visionary dreams.

By my understanding, the mandate you have given us today is clear and unambiguous. It is to return our party to power come 2019. As Herculean as this mandate seems, I know it’s achievable. My campaign pillars for this election are ‘To Rebuild, Reposition and Regain’.

Let me assure you great members and leaders of our party, that by the grace of God and with all hands on deck, the brief tenancy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aso Rock Villa expires on May 28, 2019. By this, we serve them a quit notice.

This has to be immediate, in order to save our beloved country from disintegration. We are all witnesses to how the unity of this country has been shaken to its very foundation under the watch of the rudderless and clueless APC. We therefore have a gigantic task of retrieving this country from APC’s clear lack of direction and confusion starting with the Presidency.

In the words of the 34th President of the United States of America Dwight .D. Eisenhower, “If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power”.

Judging from this, it is crystal clear to all Nigerians, that APC is not a political party, but a body hurriedly assembled to seize power without a clear cut plan for governance.

Our party on the other hand, was founded on ideals which are totally in tandem with those of the founding fathers of this great country. Those founding fathers had in mind, a prosperous and lasting democracy as captured in the preamble of our constitution clearly stating their desire for a free and egalitarian society. Even in our perceived failure of 2015, we chose to to abide by our strong faith in democracy, willingly conceding power to opposition, thereby elevating the democratic status of Nigeria. We are the true democrats!

i can therefore say without an iota of doubt, that PDP’s contributions to the growth and sustenance of democracy in this country in the last 18 years remain unequalled. The best way to celebrate the memories of these founding fathers, is to ensure that the ideals are continuously engaged.

(At this juncture great PDP leaders and members here present, let us stand and observe a minute silent for our fallen heroes one of whom is our pioneer National Chairman and former Vice President of this country Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON who passed on recently)
With your mandate I assure you, that all necessary steps will be taken to avoid a repeat of our past mistakes. Indeed we have learnt our lessons and by this convention, we are now set to forge a new path for our great party and Nigeria. Under my watch, Internal democracy will be strictly adhered to with a deliberate policy to return ‘real’ power to the people. No more imposition, no more impunity.

Every member of this party can from this moment, consider him or herself, an equal shareholder in our common destiny. I call on all Nigerians, of all creed and class, to embrace this new PDP and join in this quest for a new Nigeria. Particularly, I reach out to our old members who for one reason or the other have left the party, to please come back ‘home’.

I cannot end this address without acknowledging my co-contestants especially for the chairmanship position. Truth be told, any one of you is eminently qualified to lead this party. I thank you for a worthy contest and being part of history as this marks the first time such a highly competitive contest to produce the leadership of a political party has been held in Nigeria. You have every cause to stand tall and I now extend my hand of fellowship to you all. Let ‘US’ Rebuild, Reposition & Regain.

In the same breath, let me thank the outgoing National Caretaker Committee led by Senator Ahmed Markafi. We will forever remember your courageous leadership in our most trying times. History will no doubt, be kind to you. I must also thank the Convention Committee led by HE Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for a job well done.

Finally in accepting this mandate, I am guided by the words of the 19th President of the United States of America, Rutherford Hayes who said in 1877 “he serves his party best, who serves his country best”
God bless you all
Long live the Peoples’ Democratic Party of Nigeria
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A wife’s fury

There was this rich man who had vehicles of all kinds. One day he had a quarrel with his wife and the woman said to him, “I will see to it that you walk Lagos streets without a car.”
The man laughed over that, saying, “How can I possibly walk? I have fifty-four vehicles. How will I ever need to walk when I have so many vehicles?”

He didn’t know the kind of woman he was married to. Not long after that, he started having endless problems. Many of the contracts he had executed and that had been paid for developed problems and he was asked to refund the monies.
New jobs were no longer coming in either. Before he knew what was happening, the cars were going. By the time he came to church to see us he had only one car left and fifty kobo in his pocket.

After narrating his story, he asked himself, “What do I do with this fifty kobo? If I eat with this fifty kobo, there will be no money to buy petrol and I will have to walk as my wife said. If I use the money to buy petrol what will I eat?”
We gave him an opportunity to surrender his life to Jesus. In that kind of situation, we did not have to preach for long. He was ready for anything. He surrendered his life to Jesus and the Almighty God took control. A year later when he was sharing this testimony, we had dedicated two houses for him on the same day in Lagos.

The exterminator

Two men once had a bitter quarrel. While they were fighting, one said to the other, “By the time I finish with you, there will be no sign that you ever came into this world.” His opponent thought it was an empty threat, but about two weeks or so later, he died. So his children, including the eldest who had just returned from Germany, came to bury him.

After the funeral, they all returned to their respective places of work. But the sibling from Germany had an accident on the way home and died.

When the news reached their mother, she collapsed and died too. It was too much for her to bear: having just lost her husband, she now had also lost the most prominent of her children. The other children came and buried their mother and on their way back another accident occurred, in which the eldest daughter died. To cut a long story short, the rest of the family died one after another until it remained only one, the last boy. The attacker, who had vowed to wipe off the memory of his adversary from the surface of the earth, saw this boy and vowed, “Before I kill this final one, I will torment him a little.”

When the boy returned to the university, he ran mad. He gathered all his books and clothes and set them on fire. He was thereafter taken to a psychiatric hospital and loaded with drugs. He was later certified as having recovered and was discharged.
When he got back home, he decided to get some money from his father’s estate so he could start all over again. The attacker saw him and said, “Oh, this one is still okay. We shall see.”

By the time the boy returned to campus, the wicked man, once again, went to conjure up his evil plot of destruction against him, this time, increasing its potency. The boy went mad again.

This went on repeatedly until somebody discovered that it was fierce spiritual warfare the boy was going through, which only God could handle. By the time this poor lad was brought to the Redemption Camp, he had not slept for fourteen days. His eyes were fiery red. We prayed, and God took control; he became completely normal again. He finally graduated as a medical doctor.
One day, he came to my office crying and I cried with him. He said that but for Jesus, he would have been eating from the dustbin.

Dress set ablaze by the Holy Spirit

During one of our meetings, I saw, from the altar, a woman running with some people following her. After the service they brought her to me and I asked, “What is happening?”
She said, “As you were preaching, my clothes caught fire, then I knew I had reached the place where I would be set free.”
“What do you mean?” I asked her.
She said, “Let me tell you my story.”
She was trying to protect her children from dying, so she went to a certain “prophet” for help. While she was waiting to be attended to the prophet’s wife asked her what she wanted the man of God for. The woman told the prophet’s wife that she wanted to prevent her children from dying.

The prophet’s wife said, “That is no problem, just take this kolanut and eat, none of your children will die again.”
Innocently, she took the kolanut and ate it not knowing that through it she had been initiated into witchcraft.

Within seven days, she began to fly at night, attending meetings where they shared human bodies and so on to eat. Soon, they came to her to say it was her turn to provide meat for the feast. So she killed her husband. Of course, she was very sad because that was not what she bargained for.

From that moment, she started going from one Babalawo to the other, but she was only adding petrol to the fire. The killings went round again and came to her turn once more. This time, because her husband had been killed, she had to sacrifice one of the very children she was trying to protect. I think it was almost time for her to donate the second child when she came to the church. That was when the fire of God came down mightily and her dress caught fire.

We prayed a simple prayer and she went home. In some villages, they still use what is called pit latrines. It is a kind of toilet where when you want to relieve yourself, you do it on some old newspaper, spread on the floor, and transfer it into the pit. This was what she did that night, but to her amazement, she excreted a dead snake. And from that day, she became free.

Laced meals

Some years ago at one of our Holy Ghost Services, the Lord spoke to me clearly. He said there was a woman in the crowd who used the water from washing her private part to cook for her husband. The Lord warned that if she didn’t come out, she would be inflicted with cancer in her private part. But she refused to heed to the call.

Much later, I got a message from her referring to what happened years ago and begging me to pray for her. She had started to experience the repercussion of her action.

God revealed a similar situation to me not too long ago about a certain woman who had been feeling unusual snake-like movements in her stomach. Then she prayed and fasted, after which she had a dream in which she saw a snake had come out from her private part.
After a while, the snake returned, this time with a blood-soaked mouth, and it entered into her again.
After revealing this to members of the congregation, I prevailed on the woman in question to step out and receive her freedom permanently in Jesus name. She did.

Stuck in bed in Benin City

Sometime ago in Benin City something strange happened. I was invited by the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International to minister to them, and after I finished one evening, their leaders came to me and said there was a case I must help them deal with. They said there was a man I must pray for urgently and I told them to bring him, but they said that was not possible; meaning I had to go and meet him.

According to them, the man left home in the morning after all his children had gone to school. He had locked his doors and windows and left. When the children returned from school earlier than their father, they used the spare key. Later, the youngest daughter decided to go to their father’s room to take something. She got to the room and found an old woman sitting on her father’s bed so she ran out shouting, “There is an old woman in my father’s room, old woman in my father’s room!

All the children ran out. When their father returned and saw the children outside, he was told what had happened, so he went to his room but saw nobody. He dismissed the claim, wondering how someone could have entered the house when all the doors and windows were shut.
That night he slept on that bed and that was the last time he was able to get out of bed; he just got stuck on the bed. We went to him and I told him I know somebody who could deliver him from the forces of darkness; somebody who could release him from captivity. We didn’t have to preach long. He gave his life to Jesus Christ. And for first time in a long while, he could walk. He escorted me to the car. We don’t know how many evil forces visit us every night.

Mother who was killing her children

I once visited a family without realising that the woman of the house was a high-ranking witch. She and her husband had reached an agreement in the spirit realm that, out of every two children born to them, one must die. As at the time of my visit, they had a little daughter who had been marked to die on that very day. Of course, I didn’t know this as I only visited to greet the family.

As I was about to leave, the child, who was strapped on her mother’s back, stretched out to me with great longing, perhaps in premonition of her impending doom. I had no option than to hold her. We were to learn later that this child never, ever allowed anyone else, to carry her.

So I carried her and prayed for her, oblivious of the prevailing circumstances. “Father bless this child, keep sickness away from her, and keep death away from her.”
And the yoke was broken! Shortly after that incident, the mother began to confess.
“I killed three of my children, but the day I was to kill this one, this troublesome pastor came by and took the child from me.”

CultureDecember Culture : What Happened To Knockouts And Bangers? by pandapluto(op): 7:32am On Dec 08, 2017
They were at one time the hints of Christmas however nowadays we can barely hear them.

We are in December and that season has arrived.

The most recent month of the year introduces a yearly custom in Lagos roads, firecrackers and knockouts (prominently known as bangers).

Since I could recollect December is the month for knockouts and firecrackers. In the 90s, it was non-debatable. Little children would toss knockouts in the city and young people would shoot firecrackers noticeable all around to shading up the sky from the primary day of December.

Sparklers, quite a long time ago they were the hints of Christmas

The further we got into December, the louder the sounds. By the twentieth, numerous lanes would have transformed into combat areas with knockouts and firecrackers going on practically consistently. Children from different boulevards would challenge kids from an adjacent road.

The custom would peak on December 31st with knockouts and firecrackers going off like shots and bombs in Iraq.

While it was innocuous diversion for children and adolescents, knockouts irritated grown-ups. The uproarious, sudden blasts were insufficient to shoot up blood weights and cause freeze assaults.

Additionally, some extremely wicked children utilized knockouts to threaten developed people in their neighborhood. Men and ladies would rearrange in trepidation as snickering kids tossed knockouts at them.

Numerous grown-ups trust fireworks are the hints of disorder

The knockout culture started to wear off in the mid-90s. The commotion contamination and the wellbeing dangers influenced guardians to dishearten their children from purchasing knockouts and firecrackers. Additionally, we could tongue in cheek include that hints of knockouts gave people PTSD. Keep in mind that this period was when outfitted thieves caused ruin.

Despite the fact that the tossing of knockouts isn’t care for what it was once upon a time, it still especially exists. A few Lagos state organizations have attempted to boycott it, yet children will dependably be kids.

What we have had is new sorts of knockouts coming into the market. You can hear kids discussing ‘two sound, three sound, and four sound’ knockouts. This alludes to the quantity of times a stick of knockout detonates.

The knockout culture got a major thump (play on words proposed) in 2012 when the feelings of trepidation of many guardians came through. A building that put away sparklers, knockouts and firecrackers in Lagos Island consumed in 2012.

Foreign AffairsGerman Leader Martin Schulz Wants ‘united States Of Europe’ By 2025 by pandapluto(op): 2:57pm On Dec 07, 2017
The head of Germany’s Social Democrats, Martin Schulz, a potential future governing partner of Chancellor Angela Merkel, called Thursday for the creation of a “United States of Europe” by 2025.
Schulz delivered a passionate plea for a more united and federal Europe at an SPD party congress that was due to decide whether his centre-left party will enter exploratory talks to form a new coalition government with Merkel.

“I want a European constitutional treaty that creates a federal Europe”, said Schulz, the former European parliament president, proposing a written convention involving civil society and citizens.

The treaty would then be presented to all member states for ratification, with those that reject it automatically leaving the bloc, Schulz proposed in a speech at a Berlin meeting of some 600 delegates.

He suggested a target year of 2025, one century after the SPD first spoke of a future “United States of Europe”.

Schulz said only a more united EU could meet challenges such as combating climate change or managing mass migration, forcing internet giants such as Google and Facebook to respect civil rights or stopping large companies from dodging taxes.

“Europe is our life insurance,” said Schulz. “It is the only chance we have to keep up with the other great regions of the world.”

He also argued that only a strengthened EU would stop the advance of right-wing nationalists, citing gains they had made in Germany as well as Austria, Denmark, Finland, France and the Netherlands.

SportsArgentina Will Top Group D, But Nigeria Remains A Problem by pandapluto(op): 6:10pm On Dec 06, 2017
Former Argentina midfielder, Sebastian Veron has predicted Argentina to go through the World Cup 2018 group stage ‘without a problem’, but he is unsure of what to expect from Nigeria.

The South Americans were pitted alongside the West Africans – fifth time in all their six appearances at the finals, Croatia and Iceland in Group D.

“The group in which Argentina is not easy, but it is good that it did not get any big national team,” Veron was quoted as saying by Dnevno.

“Argentina should go through the finals without a problem, and it is good that the quarter-finals do not cross with big teams. That means we have a few games to clear the shape and become even stronger.

“Nigeria is unpredictable. They always come to us in the group. African players are actually unstable and depend on what they have a day before and how they feel ahead of the game,” he continued.

“Croatia is not bad, it has players in the strong clubs in Europe. Truth, the World have gone through the play, but should not be underestimated. We are stronger than them, but we should be careful.

“Iceland has no experience at these championships, but they have played well in the Euro and through qualifications. We can not label it as a surprise, but as a growing representation

I recently purchased a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. I have always been interested in filmmaking. I already own several DSLRs, professional audio recorders, and several other professional video recording equipments.

As I am just learning how to make film, I decided to create this group to align with people with like minds to join me on my filmmaking adventure.

We will learn together and create great content along the way. I am already a pretty seasoned photographer though so I know the basics.

So please feel free to reach out to me if we would love to work with me on my future projects. I am looking to collaborate on projects with everyone involved in filmmaking

living and working in Nigeria without cutting corners to make a living is the hardest obstacle ever.

a big shout out to my countrymen out there whose hustle is real.

If judgement day exists, I'll hold a Nigerian flag for God to know I've been to hell already.

SportsRe: Moses, Oshoala Win At The Nigerian Sports Awards 2017. See List Of Winners. by pandapluto: 5:21am On Nov 18, 2017
I was there live and I can tell u it was hosted with more coordination than headies (jokers award).... kidding

truth be told, tho I feel d winners were deserving of the awards but the awards were channeled to some particular form of sports which will make other sportsmen in other field feel inferior or discouraged.

all in all, kudos to the organizers

to my anambra people, go out and vote if not, you'll be rigged out.

to my bet9ja investors, forget football or na hockey sure pass.

What advantage has PAGA over bank apps?
u know when u sending on behalf of someone u can only write d person's name as remarks but with Paga, u can send directly in a way both d receiver and sender will get a confirmatory SMS. also, most bank apps can't pay some certain bills but paga can.

I'm a Paga agent. Paga is a nice platform. easy to use but they need to work on having a personalised POS for transactions. with that, agents can overcome the stress of getting pos from banks cos it takes months and affects Biz.

Hello, sir

To save on your purchase, you can select a salvage but run and drive car. The car will cost you less and the shipping will be arranged by RoRo.

Then, you can fix the car locally.
how long dies it take the car to get delivered to my local airport?
