Ademola Lookman has refused to attend a second consecutive Atalanta training session, as he seeks to force through a move to rivals Inter Milan.
After deciding to skip Monday morning’s training session, the 27-year-old failed to turn up for the second consecutive day.


According to Gazzetta, Lookman is currently down with a calf injury and was scheduled for an individual training session today.

Lookman handed in a transfer request after Atalanta rejected two Inter bids worth €40 million and €45m.

The Nigerian wrote in a recent social media post: "Despite now receiving an offer in alignment to what I believe had been discussed, sadly the club are blocking the opportunity for reasons I do not understand.

“As a result and after many months of broken promises and what I feel has been poor treatment towards me as both a human being and as a professional footballer, sadly I feel I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right and I feel that enough is enough."

Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has since responded, saying they reached an agreement last year when they rejected an offer from Paris Saint-Germain and stated that he can only move to a top side outside of Italy.

- There’s a Verbal agreement between Atalanta and Lookman that he leaves if a suitable offer comes in.
- There was an extension offer on the table for him to renew last season so a release clause might come in but he refused.
- He has 2years left on this contract.
- Confirmed he has offers from Italy and Spain. Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan. There’s been enquiries from England but nothing concrete,
- If any of these clubs offer €40-€50m. Atalanta will sell.

First of all, I will appreciate if you don't put words in my mouth and try to strawman me. I never said Osimhen is blameless. I simply alluded to the fact that Osimhen's rejection or acceptance is inconsequential when you consider that Napoli, under Aurelio De Laurentiis, has been unyielding on the €75 million release clause. While Galatasaray has agreed to meet this figure, Napoli's current demands for payment terms (e.g., €40M upfront, €35M by end of 2026, and a 20% sell-on clause) are what is causing the current stalemate. All these details should have been hashed out much earlier. It's very disingenuous to keep making Galatsaray jump through hoops and presenting new requirements whenever they meet one requirement.
