Firstly, we become Christians through faith (thats faith in the finished work of Christ,. acknowledgement, confession, then forgiveness, then a whole new life entirely, a life where your entire day to day reflects God

But it still depends on us we can decide to walk out of God's grace and protection

God loves us to a fault, but he that sins is of the devil, thay why Christ saved us, but if after being saved, you decided to go back, then its not God's fault

being a pastor or not, if you are truely born again, you cannot sin, cos God has made every thing available for you, his word, access to him, access to his power, the holy spirit, his love, his grace and his mercy, but if after all this , you DELIBERATELY sin, and in so doing you become associated with the devil, then its not God's fault if you go to hell (mind you God doesn't want anyone to go to hell, thats why he made all those provisions, to give us redemption and justification, all out of pure LOVE.

so CHRISTIANITY is not a RELIGION, its a way of life based on FAITH
