I hate white shoes, the only one on this list i don't have, and probably will never have unless its given to me. |
First, this isn’t a fair comparison. Asking someone to choose between traveling to the UK with ₦30 million to spend and staying in Nigeria with the same ₦30 million is skewed, many people, even the wealthy, would naturally pick the UK option. However, if that ₦30 million also has to cover travel costs (flights, visa, relocation expenses), then staying in Nigeria to invest becomes the more practical choice. In Nigeria, ₦30 million can be invested in treasury bills, government bonds, or mutual funds with returns of about 15%–19%, yielding roughly ₦4.5 million to ₦5.7 million annually. By contrast, once you convert the money to pounds and settle in the UK, a significant portion will quickly go into accommodation, utilities, and general living expenses within the first year, leaving little or nothing to invest. That said, the UK offers advantages that go beyond money. There is greater peace of mind, access to quality education for children, and a higher level of safety overall. While no place is completely free of crime, the risks such as kidnapping are significantly lower compared to Nigeria. |
The MDX is a better option. Its more popular here than the QX60. This means parts are more available, and Acura is a more reliable brand to Infinity. |
elipheleh:u spoke my mind. just one herder is feared, talkless of a dozen! |
How will this war end when these terrorists are heavily funded? If they gather all that they make in a month, compared to their size, they become formidable. They can afford to arm each fighter to the teeth. While our political & military leaders are busy amassing wealth to buy Land Cruisers and mansions, these guys are buying guns, bullets, rpg, drones & motorcycles. |
He replaced the seven marine spirits with his own. |
Is the reduced vehicle tax also going to reduce price of spare parts? Cos no one seems to be talking of high costs of spare parts and things to keep a car properly maintained. |
When you are not an entertainer, super star or self employed why do this to yourself and still expect to be an employee?? |
PavillionEnergy:This needs to be in a museum! They don't make appliances as durable as this anymore. |
bobo65:At todays standards, no. You will get cheaper phones like Techno, Infinix with better cameras. But if you know how to use GCam, you can squeeze out the best from it, but still cant compete with todays mid range phone cameras. |
UPDATE: 5 years later, my OnePlus 8 is still pushing strong, but not without scars. Apart from the cracked back glass, the front is still intact with minimal scratches. I was never able to find a proper screen guard, Battery life holds up to the end of the day, i always charge to 80%, this has helped prolong battery health. Apart from the abysmal camera, it still has a solid screen, good enough SOC, very solid build quality and still alot better looking that most phones today. Out of all the phones i have used, this is in my top 5. Its now relegated as my secondary phone since i got an Xperia 1V around December 2024.

The moment i saw the Atari console, i knew the house was complete. No aquarium? Telephone? |
Its a war! Its natural for casualties and losses on both ends. The outcome will be determined by who has lost more and the capacity to go on fighting. So i really don't get these types of posts. Was America not supposed to have losses? |
Marriage is a self imposed prison. Ur wife is your prison warder, wedding rings ae the shackles binding you to the prison, your home becomes your cell. The days you want to escape to go hang out with the guys becomes prison break, you become Micheal Scofield cos you are gonna be breaking out of prison alot often... Then when you get back you receive your punishment.... Your offence for all this, falling in LOVE ![]() Hardened criminals of LOVE stay in longer, some, for life, the casual ones get to bail out quicker but not without a large fine. I am a prisoner of LOVE! |
This man is still LIVING IN BONDAGE. |
Osebanjo:I must be getting old o! Prior to 2000s Plateau and Borno where amongst the most peaceful loving states.... Damn, how has Nigeria gone so low. |
Stage 4 breast cancer is the most advanced stage of Breast cancer. It means the cancer has spread beyond the breast and nearby lymph nodes to other parts of the body. Common places it spreads: Bones Liver Lungs Brain I had an aunty who passed away from breast cancer, i watched her take her last breath, i hope this is not clout chasing. |
helinues:Even the operators of these Air Defense Systems and their families are not spared by these kidnappers. |
How can a naturally aspirated car be less durable than turbocharged one? That turbo alone is a separate maintenance issue. |
See as lights full every where even after all the missile barrages. In Nigeria, it only takes thunder strikes to go blackout! Mumu country with mumu leaders. |
I have had insomnia since i was a teenager. In my younger days up to late 30s i could stay up 2 whole days sometimes with heavy drinking on weekends, there are days i will play video games after dinner until 6am then take a bath, get dressed and off to work. I have learnt to live with it and accept it as a part of my life, it has never affected my personal or work life. Doctors said i should monitor my BP because not having enough sleep can raise BP, but to God be the Glory i dont have high BP. I work out alot and try to be as physical as possible, that has contributed to my overall wellbeing, plus maybe good genes. I am in my mid 40s now, i still get sleepless nights but not nearly as much as before. Age is a MF! You are not alone, dont let it bring u down, work out, do stuff to drain your excess energy, if nothing works then take it as a part of your life. Nothing worked for me, i learnt to live with it as a super power. |
Take the 16 Pro Max over the 17 Air for the battery life, better sound quality and maybe better camera experience. The Air just for the thin design. Pick your preference. |
with todays cost of cars in Nigeria, i believe its worth it as a Tokunboh for N5mill. And its a good easy to maintain, stress free, fuel efficient car. |
This is why the Chinese are able to underprice their products compared to their competitors. They obtain raw materials at little to no cost, often through illegal mining activities across Africa, while avoiding taxes and taking advantage of extremely cheap labor. Labor in China is already inexpensive, but in some parts of Africa it is almost like slavery when these Asians are the bosses. |
Questions have been trailing on the continuous killing, kidnapping and terrorization of Nigerians for the past decade..... Still finding the answers Talkless of 200 American soldiers. |
Wickedness, and how easy it is to take life in Nigeria without remorse and justice is why this country will remain where it is for a very long time. |
So why are people using it if its all bad? Even if its a placebo there must be something that has convinced people to use it, even if its a short term improvement. This is how western medical societies disqualifies traditional medicine and herbs in favor of theirs despite the harsh side effects from western medicine in our body. |
Get her a gift card. Saves u the stress of picking out something. |
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That aside, its reliable, fuel-efficient small engine, easy to repair, and parts are readily available and affordable. But don't expect it to zoom off, you will not arrive in style, and you can't carry loads of cargo nor passengers. |
Rather, the menace of begging in Nigeria, by Nigerians. This is the first thing observed the moment anyone steps into the country. |
