Why is it so hard for Nigeria marketers to put a price on their products. Even a manufacturer like IVM in this advert still cant put up their prices for the available trims.

In other climes even reviewers put up the price of what they review, information should be complete. How much is this? Must we call to confirm? Serious buyers only?

People here are just silly. Expecting a 55yr old man to still look muscular and bulky like his 30s. The man has chosen to be lean and healthy, so as to grow gracefully.

He isnt sick, just a choice or could be a requirement for a movie role just like when 50cent had to lose 54pounds in the movie "All things Fall Apart".

Education / Re: AAU Student Compares The Cars Of Students To That Of Lecturers In Ekpoma, Edo St by PAQ(m): 5:48pm On Aug 31
richiemcgold:
This comparison is very stupid, childish and baseless. Are you expecting the lecturers to expend all their money on posh cars? They surely have more responsibilities. Some even have children schooling abroad. If you're a responsible father/mother, tell me which one would you choose between posh cars or sponsoring your children. My Dean for instance rides venza jeep, he can surely afford a bigger ride but he has 3 children currently studying in Canada. His last born is processing Australian visa RN. Do you know how much it costs to sponsor four children abroad?

A matured response to a very childish comparison. Some people thing posh cars equates to rest of mind and happiness.

So Nigeria 'apartheid intervention' is as useless as the p in psychology. Plus you must be highly delusional if you think Nigeria had that much influence over apartheid south Africn government

Its not about the influence or not that Nigeria had over appatheid, but the act of love, support, oneness, selflessness, determination, brotherhood, camaraderie and sacrifices made

Foreign Affairs / Re: US President Still Using 34-Year-Old Plane But Nigeria Abandoned 19-Year-Old by PAQ(m): 10:33pm On Aug 20
This is not surprising. A 5 year old car bought brand new in Nigeria can not be compared to a 10year old Tokunboh. The tokunboh is cleaner and more road worthy. Talk less of comparing an aeroplane. A hundred year old aeroplane and car in America is even better than a 5 year old car and plane in Nigeria. Doubt it go and check how much classics cost.

If either of these cars felt floaty i doubt its the GS. Being high can also feel floaty, not that i am saying you where high... I no talk am o!

Education / Re: Go And Warn Your Father.. Verydarkman Tells Tinubu's Daughter by PAQ(m): 10:27pm On Jul 29
otherway:
Lol!

Tinubu mean well for Nigeria and that was why he hijacked the election to become president by force.

Unfortunately, he does not have the quality of a leader.

He is arrogant and extremely proud, he listens to nobody and he probably thought he can run Nigeria like a cartel.

Kofoworola Burknor, ogbeni Rauf have all made this known.

How can you foolishly removed subsidy in one swoop and more ridiculous is the fact that there was no where in the speech that he read it.

Was it dementia that affected him cos he was against Jonathan removing subsidy in one swoop.

But as soon as he got sworn in, he did exactly what he advised Jonathan against in 2012

Now Read Tinubu's very own words to Jonathan in 2012.

11 January, 2012

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) national leader and former governor of Lagos State, has accused the Jonathan presidency of betraying its social contract with the people by suddenly removing fuel subsidy.

He, however, provided a window out of the crisis:

if subsidy must be removed at all, it must never be at one fell swoop. Rather it must be on calibrated phrases, on which the promised gains are measured and confirmed before moving to the next phase of removal.

“Government must modify the sudden and complete removal of the subsidy. Either we restore the subsidy or use the funds for other social purposes.

,” Asiwaju Tinubu counselled in a special release he captioned, ‘Removal of oil subsidy – President Jonathan breaks social contract with the people’ and which he personally signed.

“If we are to use the funds for other programmes, these programmes shall be placed on parallel track with the subsidy. As more of these programmes are ready to go on line, then the subsidy can be lifted in phases” he continued. “In this way, the public is assured government will not lower its total expenditure on their behalf, thus maintaining the spirit central to the social contract.”*

But the former governor cautioned the federal government against economic policies that tend to balance the books at the detriment of the people’s welfare.

“As there is progressive politics, there is progressive economics. As there is elitist politics, there is elitist economics,” Asiwaju Tinubu explained. “It all depends on what and who in society government would rather favour.

The Jonathan tax,” he declared, “represents a new standard in elitism.”
But the ACN national leader cautioned the president against being captive to economic orthodoxy and its local purveyors, who always look at the Nigerian economy as nothing until when tied to the apron strings of the conservative orthodoxy.

“Because he is slave to wrong-headed economics,” Asiwaju Tinubu said of President Goodluck Jonathan, “the people will become enslaved to greater misery. This crisis will bear his name and will be his legacy. The people now pay a steep tax for voting him into office.

The removal of the subsidy is the ‘Jonathan tax’,” he insisted. “The situation shows that ideas count more than personalities.

People may occupy office but how that person performs depends on the ideas that occupy his mind
Insisting that the subsidy removal was ill-timed he said there must be some conditions precedent before such a step could be taken

“First government needs to clean up and throw away the salad of corruption in the NNPC [Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation]. Then, proceed to lay the foundation for a mass transit system in the railways and road network with long term bonds and,” he added, “fully develop the energy sector towards revitalising Nigeria’s economy and easing the burden any subsidy removal may have on the people.”

Iyaloja if you are reading this just know that your father has destroyed Nigeria with his oversabi attitude.

I'm sure mummy can not even correct him cos he believes he is all knowing.

Your father has destroyed Nigeria by doing exactly what he advised against

You are in Aso Rock enjoying and eating quality food and you have the temerity to advise people who are using water melon, cucumber to make stew.

Im trying not to use offensive words on you.

And for the records, I'm not igbo. Omo yoruba gidi ni mi.

The worst part of it all is that the same subsidy he hurriedly removed is now back and bigger cos the FG is still paying subsidy and that is why petrol price has not risen higher than it is presently.

This is the consequence of irrational decision making.

You forgot to add; floating of the Naira.
These are the two things that got us where we are today.

No manner of protest will change the wicked mind. Most of the organizers have visas & dual citizenship. When the protest gets out of hand they will join thesame politicians they are fighting in thesame airplane and japa to thesame countries while the poor & hungry will beer the after math of the carnage that may ensue.

Too many things can go wrong..... or right during the planned protest.

Politics / Re: Akpabio Speaks On How The New Minimum Wage Applies To All by PAQ(m): 10:20pm On Jul 24
Watch as things like school fees, locally made clothes, goods & services in general go up in prices. To pay minimum salary from 15, 20, 30k to 70k will definitely reflect in the price of goods and services. The consumer is yet again at the receiving end. Nigeria that things are already on a steady increase, this 70k will look like 30k in no time.

When an African becomes rich his bank accounts are in Switzerland, he travels to France for medical treatment, he invests in Germany, he buys from Dubai, he consumes Chinese, he prays in Rome or Mecca, his children study in Europe, he travels to Canada, USA, and Europe for tourism. If he dies he will be buried in his native country. Africa is just a cemetery for Africans, how could a cemetery be developed?"

For letting every riffraff sleep with his daughters in the name of relationship, Femi Otedola must be the world's most generous billionaire.

When I become a billionaire, broke men won't even be crossing paths with my daughters. My daughters will be betrothed to their husbands at birth to the sons of my wealthy business partners. My sons are free to do or marry whoever they like.

If you don't like this, go suck a lemon!

Hope you know Mr Eazi is a self made millionaire.
