Nigeria's biggest problem is that no one is ever held responsible. The main reason is because the enforcer has been compromised so he cannot enforce. He is saying that not upto 10 entities are holding over 200million people to ransom & their is nothing you can do about it.

With inflation & ever rising cost of building materials no one can give you a cost, even an estimate will be hard cos by next week things might change. Then your taste and quality of material you want is a factor to consider

I overshot my estimate by more than 10mill. Most of the estimated figures given here are not out of place.

My advice is just start with what you have, try as much as possible to purchase what you need by yourself, use an engineer to make sure everything is used judiciously & standards are followed. Make down payments for your finishings; doors, windows, plumbing, wires & roofing sheets, if possible. Get your borehole done first to provide water, fence the property... Small, small but not slow, slow you will get there. If you have the money dont waste time. For now with 25mill you should be good, if anything is left undone after that can be done later without much stress

I am not a builder nor professional, just an advice out of experience.

Leg muscles are harder to train, and since they are mostly hidden under cloths & not shown off like biceps they are mostly over looked.

The MDX & CrossTour are very reliable. For its time the MDX is quite luxurious but not so fuel efficient. The CrossTour is a Honda Accord on steroids, just as reliable. You cant go wrong with either.

We need great transport, steady power, proliferation of SMEs, a strong currency based on economic success anchored firmly on manufacturing and exporting more good and services than we import. Etc, etc.

How will all those happen with the subsidy lifestyle some want Nigeria to persevere with which only favours the outlook of Northern leaders who feel government money should basically provide a big and free food parlour for all?

My Dean for instance rides venza jeep, he can surely afford a bigger ride but he has 3 children currently studying in Canada. His last born is processing Australian visa RN. Do you know how much it costs to sponsor four children abroad?
