Unfortunately there is a statement moving around on social media . That you have to be shameless to be successful . And sadly it works in nigeria ....and elsewhere in the world. Imagine a Fani , a Dele , a Reno having such portfolios ? They will keep disgracing themselves and keep getting political appointments. These shameless individuals will continue to influence policies and international processes that will affect you and I. It is really sad .

Mr Dele , you should have heeded the advice of those who told you to ignore him .
Fani attacked you as a person . He made politically charged comments . Those things were said in the usual nigerian politician and political jobbermen style . You DID NOT need to involve his family ! Those are incredibly personal . You can insult each other politically . Try to keep family matters out . Noone knows tomorrow . Dele himself can need Fani's help regarding his family . Poor choice from Dele in my opinion

This is how majority of nigerian youths are . Both men and women . Zero values and morals . Get rich quick fraudulent mentality . These are the one blaming the elite . These are the ones that will someday become leaders .

The problem of our country is not from the leaders. It is the destruction of the family unit.

My girlfriend came around last Friday and stayed till Saturday. I went through her phone with her permission, of course. I didn't see anything serious. Out of curiosity I checked her chats with her sister's fiance, I saw some uncomfortable messages he sent to her. He sent messages like WHEN LAST DID YOU KISS? HAVE YOU BEEN IN LOVE BEFORE? This man is in his early 50s and my girlfriend is turning 22 next month. He is even a divorcee, he come to their house and everyone respects him.

From their chats, my girlfriend didn't encourage anything, but the only issue I have with her was when I asked her why didn't she tell me the man was hitting on her? She said she thinks IT'S NOT IMPORTANT. And I asked if she knew what the man is driving at, she said SHE DOESN'T KNOW.

I told her that since she has the power to decide what's important and not, she can handle her affairs, and her elder sister would be very proud of her when she eventually finds the chats. She has been trying to be extra nice and downplay the whole situation but I just told her life no hard. Let's just catch cruise.

This man is telling her that she should be a good girl for him and he will spoil her, when he returns to Nigeria, he will take her out more often. The fact that this girl is pretending or acting to be ignorant of this old man's intentions is what turned me off.

et me say this .she has zero boundaries . I can tell you she is like that with guys . My advice to you as a former player . Downgrade her. This is the test for you to ascertain how serious she is . Afterall she is 22 . She is in her ho.e age .

Ignorance is a disease. The ruling party is sponsoring opponents and attempting to use fifth columnists and the compromised courts to take over the ADC as has been done to LP and PDP. But you can continue to bury your head in the sand.

If political parties do not improve their internal politics this will keep happening . When a political party has no ideology, no strong Democratic internal processes, they can be taken over by others. What was PDP looking at when Wike was taking over party structures while his anti-party activities were glaring from the start? They were collecting money from him and kept him in the party until they could not remove him .

Not only him. The whole ADC arrangement may crumble . An interesting April is before us . El Rufai is still in custody and has lost out already . The ONLY permutation that will keep that party is Atiku/Obi ticket .

The truth remains that as you get wealthier as a man , you become weary of false love by women in their quest to secure the money bag . you also do not have time to verify the authenticity of their "love" because you are busy making money. Logic stipulates you should just hold your peace and stay single or give them experience in exchange for some "bedminton ".
Once a man crosses an age threshold with some degree of success , he becomes skeptical about the love women show.

I actually saw a video of an attack like that and I was like what the heck are these soldiers doing . Some of them were standing , not taking cover and looked disoriented amid heavy gunfire . It was worrisome . And someone is asking.the SE youths to join the military . First of all , make sure that any corrupt top military leader is executed, top training and adequate equipments for the boys . Let see if youths will not want to join. No one wants to die when the army is filled with terrorist spies , corrupt generals , inadequate equipment and poor renumerations for the soldiers . Nigeria and nigerian army should do better . God be with the fallen heroes and their families . This is sad . They put their lives at risk and paid the ultimate price.

A guy from one of our top security outfit told me something years ago and it has stayed with me since then .
"Opposition are simply people who do not have access to the national cake. Grant them access and they will shout Nigeria is indivisible and fight for the government ". This statement has always been at the back of mind when I see these opposition and activists so I wasn't surprised when these guys jumped ship .

PS- there is no difference between what reno , bwala and co have done and what obi and Atiku have done in their political journey. Always going back on their words and returning to their vomits.

Hypersonic missiles as how ? Drones can do the job cheaply and easily. The ships will be sitting ducks from the Iranian army , hezbolla and co. This threat by Iran on the presence of US war ships is very real . The US ships and servicemen lives will be in danger . Trump should be careful .

Now Nigeria is experiencing increased pump prices becaise of this war. Imagine if we do not have Dangote's refinery , those werey oil marketers would be using our eyes to see pepper by now . Long queues and probably a 2000 per litre pump price. The government would have had to cough out shitload of subsidy to avoid breakdown of the economy. Tinubu did well on that . With rising oil prices and no subsidy , I hope they do well and not steal this coming windfall too .

Yes . Let the governors spend security votes on actual policing . Let the NPF fire alot of their illiterate, useless officers , streamline their force to educated , extremely well trained personnel like the CIA, FBI .

The only issue we have is the fear that governors will weaponize the state police . That fear is based on the insecurities of the central government. Put a robust law that ensures that governors and the centre cannot abuse the state and national policing structure . Thats all ! We need it to combat insecurity in this country .

I hope all countries are taking note . US armed the taliban against Russia and they later fought the US . The US armed and encouraged the Supreme leader of Iran to oust a democratically elected government in Iran because he was nationalizing their oil wells . Then they turned against the US . Now they are arming Kurdish militants against Iran ( this will lead to death of a lot of Iranians ) . If they turn against the US in the future , they will be tagged terrorists .

A lot of countries should be extremely careful how they relate with the US . DO NOT SEEK THEIR HELP . If you have to , you have to be extremely careful . If US decides today a broken nigeria will help meet their national long term interests , we will not last a year as a nation .

President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate reconstruction of three federal roads in Niger State and the extension of the Bodo–Bonny Road to connect with the East–West Road in Rivers State.

The president gave the approval during a meeting with the Minister of Works, David Umahi.

The three road projects in Niger State are expected to be reconstructed using reinforced concrete pavement to ensure durability and long-term value

They include; Mokwa–Bida Road (120km); Mokwa–Makeri Road (63km) and Bida–Labata Road (123.5km).

The extension of the Bodo–Bonny Road to connect with the East–West Road, the project will be executed on a dual carriageway capacity.

It is also expected to get constructed with concrete pavement, and equipped with solar-powered street lighting.

That mokwa Bida road has been hell on earth bl. Trailers ply that road worsening an already terrible road and it has been neglected by too many previous administrations. It is quite commendable . Great one by Tinubu . Because I dont like him does not mean I can't commend him when he does something reasonable .
