The two were invited and non of them has arrived the venue, why the rush and if you must rush why not state clearly that both are absent or both shunned the meeting? You're just wailing about what you have no idea about. |

Base on the naira performance, I agree with the associations. If the naira keeps on gaining value, the price of petrol will keep on reducing this is how it should be in the cemet and other sector. I'm surprise Pepsi and Coke recently increased there price even though the quality of the drinks were not increase along side the price. |

Goldeno:

These are the kind of stup*d people we have in Nigeria as elders, they will never try to solve a problem to it altimate conclusion, well maybe they too stup*d and d*mb to know how.
What is the problem, what is the cause of the problem, how can this problem be solved to prevent future occurrence. So called elders never ever think that way.
Any no-smart person that listern to him will think he cares for his people.
Rather than try to offer a solution to the issue, so the problem can be solve ones and for all for prosperity sake he his yanning rubbish.
Same thing with northern elders, when ever their is a problem they just yan rubish rather than try to solve the problem and that is why they are in perpetual turmoil, same problem over and over and over, Same vices all the time.
Nigeria matter is just annoying You wake up every morning hoping for a better country then you see that you have stup*d people like this in positions of authority. 💯💯 |

Elusive001: But you supported buhari when he closed borders then? You enumerated all the "benefits" of border closure by him then. We even saw the rice pyramids. What changed? I thought you guys have been posting threads of improvement in price of food commodities. A lot of you love making stupid, baseless and unfounded statement. Buhari closed the border in 2019 and I was not even a member of nairaland when he did. So I wander how you knew I supported him. |

Acidosis: So giving about N1-10m to each farmer is how you want to compete with the international market and agric investors like Bill Gates? Whether they are giving 1-10m to eacg farmer does not matter, what matter is that Government should lift the ban on food importation. |

donself9: This is just our truth, we know there are challenges But the larger part of the inflation is greed inclined, those middlemen have corrupt local farmers completely just like house agents are opening landlords' eye
I will always commend Dangote for what he is doing in the oil market, he could have join them nd be cashing out big big ... give Nigerians a freehand and they will abuse it next min If there's no importation of fuel, Dangote won't be reducing price like he is doing now Why is he not reducing the price of cement? Government should stop the policy of banning importation |

techaboki: When we talk, they say farmers are greedy.
They claim farmers are cashing out big, but they themselves don't want to go into the farming
It's a very bad policy and farmers are already counting out their loses All the billions of naira that was spent on agriculture under Buhari, where are the results? Don't forget Buhari banned the importation of foodstuffs into Nigeria |
