Nigerian billionaire Folorunso Alakija, the founder of Famfa Oil, has tragically lost her sight, reportedly due to health complications following a near-air mishap. Alakija, 73, was traveling with her husband, Modupe Alakija, when the incident caused a spike in her blood pressure, which affected her vision. Despite experiencing ongoing eyesight issues, she chose not to pursue medical treatment, instead focusing on establishing a church. Her health continued to decline, and she ultimately lost her sight completely. Alakija is known for her vast wealth, including a significant stake in Nigeria’s profitable Agbami oilfield, which she acquired through a government-awarded oil prospecting license in 1993, a deal influenced by her relationship with Maryam Babangida, the wife of former Nigerian leader Ibrahim Babangida.
In addition to her business success, Alakija has been involved in philanthropy, including the Rose of Sharon Glorious Ministry International, and has been a prominent figure in Nigeria’s elite circles. Alakija's journey to wealth also includes significant connections with the Babangida family, with her oil block transforming into one of the most lucrative in the country after partnering with Texaco. Despite facing legal challenges, she retained her stake in the Agbami field, securing her place as one of the wealthiest women in Africa. Recently, Alakija attended a high-profile event, the launch of Ibrahim Babangida's book, amidst rumors of a separation from her husband after over three decades of marriage.
Chidollars1994: u are twisting the story I mean during combat even my father I never heard him said yoruba soldiers is always hausa soldiers
3rd Marine Commando Division Effiong surrendered to is mostly made up of Yorubas. The division didn't operate in every part of the east central state, that's why your father didn't see Yoruba soldiers. I heard about the crazy stuffs hausa and Nigeriens did to Igbos
oyeb15: Did Zelensky believe in Trump? He's he not trying to bow to pressure
If he's bowing to Trump, he won't have rejected Trump first deal. Abacha should have told the west to fvck off and stop interfering in Nigeria internal affairs.
oyeb15: CIA killed d guy. They just used Dimka to carry out their plan. Immediately Obj was sworn in the Americans flooded Nigeria.
Murtala and Abacha were independent minded leaders., including MKO b4 Abacha unleashed terror on him when he start romancing BBC and VOA.They don't believe in d West. Obj is a slave to d West.A very unpatriotic Nigerian who has benefited immensely from everything the country could offer. He's at d center of Nigeria destruction. Hope he will write his confessions one day.
Abacha don't believe in the west but was doing everything within his power to become a civilian president because of the pressure from the west. Some of you guys do talk about what you have no idea of
proeast: All the hullabaloo about Southern presidency is about to become a mirage if insinuations and plans going on by the two dominant parties become a reality.
It is alleged that PDP is planning to give their ticket to Atiku with Obi as his vice while APC will give theirs to Osinbajo with maybe Zulum as his vice. If this scenario turns out to be true, then it's game over for Southern presidency aspirations in 2023.
I will explain!
1. Atiku will definitely win the NE and NW by wide margins against Osinbajo.
2. Atiku will win the SE by wide margins due to Obi and PDP factors.
3. Osinbajo will win the SW by wide margins but Lagos will be shared by both parties.
4. Osinbajo will win the SS by a smaller margin based on Southern presidency campaign.
5. Atiku will win the NC comfortably but not with wide margins.
So Atiku wins NE, NW, SE, and NC while Osinbajo wins SW and SS.
If truly the North wants power to go South, then PDP wouldn't or shouldn't give their ticket to Atiku/Obi because that's an irresistible combination. Atiku is ethnically fulani and religiously Muslim but on both counts he is widely seen as a moderate. Also, Atiku is seen as enlightened. Obi is also seen as a good economist and administrator with lofty ideas.
Osinbajo and Zulum can't match such personalities at all. Also, Muslims generally has a herd mentality and would never vote for another person who is not a Muslim, least of all a pastor.
The Northerners are very cunning, their elite will publicly stand with Osinbajo and Zulum but clandestinely work with Atiku. Even some of them in APC will passionately work against Osinbajo to ensure Atiku wins.
They did it to GEJ in 2015!
SW is hoping to rally support for a Yoruba candidate by riding on anti fulani/Southern turn as a strategy but unfortunately, that won't be enough.
If elections are conducted today with those characters above as the contestants, PDP candidates will win overwhelmingly.

LOVEALAIGBO: And not forgetting the issue of safety! The south-east is also cheated on the issue of access to international flights in and out of the region! Besides Ethiopian airline that serves a limited number of routes, we’re expected to travel out of the region for direct flights to destinations in Europe, America, Asia and Africa!
SeverusSnape: El Rufai, you're reaping what you sowed against Jonathan. Anyways, I like the rift between them, Anything to remove druggie is okay by sane Nigerians.
seborrhic: Pep Guardiola should be sacked. He no longer has a clue on what to do. I knew back then that a time would come when his slow,100 back passes and 80 side passes, taking the ball to the opponents half and wingers returning back to defenders in City's half, would be exposed one day. Watch Real,Liverpool and other modern teams, fast breaks, wingers attacking defenders, that's how football is played. Yes,sometimes you cannot get it right, but fast breaking teams Will allways have 70% more chance than any team that plays the way City does. Same phase Barcelona passed through but they are beginning to adjust their pattern too with quick transitions, wingers that attack defenders and midfielders that move the ball quickly. Kevin De Bruyne was the only player in City's team that tried to do the quick transitions but his legs can no longer carry him well. Who wants to watch a team that is slow and makes countless back passes! Watch how exciting City was when they even used the long balls from Ederson against Chelsea. He should either change or be sacked
Liverpool were once in this position man city is in. Man city will do better next season

The man on the street does not believe that inflation has come down as sharply as that,” he said.
