the thing just come my head. besides, one have to anticipate interview questions; prepare for the likelihood of this kind of questions. some of those interviewers are bored with the conventional questions, they now like to go 'out of context'.

This is really a logical one.
If I were in his shoes I'd give two answers, thus:
logically, in Mathematics, depending on the base system, 1+1 is two calculating in base 10.
On the brighter side, I think 1 + 1 is 1. Every organization need to have employees working towards a common goal, which requires cooperations, innovations, shatring ideas e.t.c. In this context, team work cannot be over- or under-emphasized. Many sticks make a broom. Therefore, 1 + 1 is one!

no, not in few years time will some firm come up with something to rival MS. In my ranking, MS is the most indispensible tech firm, a day can't go buy without one using one of their products esp in business envoriments, schools, e.t.c.
If 10 apps were released today, at least 4 would be suited for the windows platform.
