Good work. Repeated call to the same program... How about the next/previous styled pagination? |
“We will also ensure that the project succeeds,” he addedi pray o. Just a matter of time before politicians hijack job slots, seeks loans for their 'small' companies.. E.t.c |
Op you'd be a be fool if you seek a sooth-sayer or another 'man-of-God'... F.o.o.lish people everywhere! Are you not a Christian? So, is God hiding from you? Do you need a phophet to guide you life? No! Fast and pray by yourself. Let not a single soul know it, NOT even your girl. Ask God to reveal her to you, simple.... I mean fast, I mean like the fast your break with only fruits in the evening, at sun-down; 7 pm specifically. 7 days. You will not die. Don't take this issue of marriage with levity, be serious. The pastor might be right, or wrong! Ask God to reveal her to you. Read the book of Daniel, Mark 4. Tell no one, and don't let people notice it. When Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and wanted to kill all the magicians because they could not tell him what he dreamt about and its interpretation, Daniel saved them all when God reveal the secrets to him.. Key into verses that deals with revealing of secrets. Same with Mark 4. Secrets' verses. Wake at 12 mid-night and pray for 30 mins/1 hr. You will get your answer before 7 days is over or just after it. I just hope you are true child of God, because if you're not, na hunger strike you just dey suffer yourself o. Stay away from every form of sin too. |
jimklef:means I am on the right path then.. Can somebody recommended a book in javascript that can take someone from rookie to pro? Something simple, extensive and contains real/practical examples? Thanks. |

pussypounder:funny question. Every org has got its hierarchy(did I get this spelling right?!). Imagine if everybody is a manager in a bank? Abi make clearners get same rights school with teacher? Nada. Everybosy in NL is first a user. Seun is like NL god. After him are the super mods, then the mods, then users like us. So only Seun should have the right(or any other admin he gives the right) to check your personal details. Like your email address, password e.t.c. If you use an andriod phone(with OS 5 and above), you know as the owner of the phone, you can create a 'guest' account for guests with limited access to what ever you choose for them(files, photos, apps e.t.c.).. You have an account on your PC. You IT admin create an account for your work PC.. Get it?? So, we users here on NL can only create topics, comment, quote, like, report, e.t.c. Mods are users that can ban other users, determine which topics are to go the trash can.. The can hide/unhide comments. They also with basic users' priviledges like us. Supermods are super. They can move topics to the home page. Seun is the NL god. He can make can make your a mod, or supermod! He is everything on NL.. So, if you own a blog, you become Seun or Linda Ikeji. |
Anyone with high IQ will do well starting with any language. The most important thing in programming is your logic skills. Infact, I recommend that anyone who wants to learn programing should go study flowchats in secondary school futhermaths/com sci. I didn't'ake flowchats seriously back then in sec school and in my first year at the university, but now I know its craziness! When I started, had a prob organizing my thoughts. Now, before i even type a line of code, I would ave already map my code out, get a mental picture of the problem my code's gonna solve, and my data structures. Logic skills is the most important thing. You have gotta have the brain power. You are as good as your IQ level. Besides, programming is a life time thing. It's gonna be part of you. It has gotta be the air you breathe. Many people wil fall off from the path of programming as the years goes by. Those crazy programmers at google/MS/Apple have become codes. Have you even looked at google maps and ever wondered what the folks that fleshed out the codes were thinking?! Have ever tried to imagine their mind state? Do you know the idea behind UI designs of these great companies? Compare MS, google and apple sites and try to imgine the genuity behind the UI designs, gosh! Have you ever wondered about the idea in the connection between digital tech and hardware? Have you ever tried to imagine what Einstein was imagining, why he Imagined it, situation he imagined it when He wrote lwas the revolutionalized physics? Have you ever tried to resimulate such? Coding should be your blood, else you will never make a mark like Bill, Steve, Mark, google boys did! Gosh, think about the idea behind twitter! |
danidee10:really, I'l investigate... |
talk2hb1:thanks. |
talk2hb1:okay, I'll investigate that. Thanks. |
dhtml18:I came accross a html5 book and saw some cool code. Does javascript now have some server-side capabilities? Like connect to MySQL db, e.t.c...? |
talk2hb1:thanks for the reply. The book's 'Deitel Deitel how to program'? I just wondering because of the repitition of name.. Thanks. |
dhtml18:we are on the same page then. This has always been my mantra.. |
dhtml18:i don't understand. |
Tochaigh:Ruby? Okay. Recommend any extremely good pdf book that'll take me from Rookie to Pro.. |
Hehehehe.. Clever but it's quite obvious. The table above does not represent the true state of the transaction na - albeit logically. You are just adding the remainder of your cash at hand anytime a transaction occurs(demand is met). The right calculation is adding all expenditure and equating it to total amount you had on you before buying anything: total amount = exp1 + exp2 + exp3 + ... + remainder(if any). What you did up there is like getting the total numbers of remainders when converting a number to base 2, then multiplying it by 2 thinking it will equate(everytime) to the original number being converted. |
Okay, been learning PHP for some months and I can say I am getting better at it, logically. My design sulks because I design ike a programmer. Hehehehehe.. I am always more concerend about the logical aspect since I can always outsource the design aspect in the nearest future when I become a guru like y'all, better than those at MS, google self.... Well, I created a quiz web app; also did something like a mini phpMyAdmin, e.t.c... Even now, I am working on an app that works like FB, next is a NL-wannabe app. Still sulk at php security/working with the superglobals and header informations.. ... I am just layin a logically foundation for my skills before I go full blown into enterprise dev. With the way some guys bash some languages, PHP for example, one would think you're learning a language that expired in 1904! I just need experienced advice on my learnin curve. Most of you guys have expensive experience, some have had their minds well forged in the arena of codes, some of you guys have become Morpheous, some even claim to be Leo(remember the movie 'Matrix'?)... Hehehehe i need advice on how to go about my learning curve. Which language to concentrate on and which shouldn't pay to much attention on e.t.c. I am thinking like: after getting to level 6 of 10 on PHP(I rate myself at 4/10. You think that's too low, wait till you see my works on PHP, you'd suprise at my logic skills), I can introduce another language to my library and keep learning them both. May be python, java or c#.. I don't even know which to start with, whether c# or java.. Make suggestions for me on my learning curve, and don't tell me to go start with a framework of a lang, that's bad foundation. I once regected an internship opportunity when the dude told me I was gonna start with zend framework, PHP, after scoring me 9/10 on php/mySql test. Thank you! |
Thanks, A7.... |
dhtml18:bros, na PHP na. See the topic eh. |
romme2u:thanks.. |
I am not seeing any help in the examples here, you are just setting up session variables to do what exactly? How's the session variable (holding the log-in status/user data) passed from program to program or what's the mechanism(code) for the individual programs loading up the session var, e.t.c... As a rookie, I do this my passing the username (in an input element) from page to page and that is really tiring and ineffective and not dynamic. Say I have 4 seperate pages on my menu system: home, about us, services, blog. To view blog posts on the blog page, the user needs to be logged-in or else you create an account. Now, after login-in via the blog page, and you click 'home' menu from here, username data might get lost. |
I was just wondering how this is done; keeping users logged in forever on your site( as long as they want to), even through out their activities on the site, as the switch from page to page.. Even the way it shows your log-in status(username or so) all through your time on the site, and how the browser automatically logs one in.. Can someone give a basic example... Thanks. |
dancewith:thanks, good boy/girl. |
Does anyone have this? I mean the raw XML or JSON file? Just that and nothing else? |
FincoApps:Affects mine, especially when running apps I use in my development environment. How did you configure yours? |

Oga, you need to create a query first. Are you sure your data is well normalized? I mean has it passed the 1NF, 2NF and 3NF? If so, then create a query for the date range/or date you want, after that create a form/report based on the query using the FORM/REPORT wizard, and all other wizard to help you with your query. Remember, you a need to create the query first |
modath:why can't I write like this ehn? |
