Some people just love money way too much.
So much so that they put it above everything
else in their lives, including their family. So
what happens when someone wants to take all
of their cash with them to their grave? Well,
check out this story about a widow who made
a promise to her greedy husband to bury him
with all of his money. Yes, that was his dying
wish… nice guy, eh? Anyway, his wife, being
the honourable woman that she is, wanted to
make good on her promise.
But needless to say, she wanted to figure out
a way around the absurdity of his request.

“There was a man who had worked all of his
life and has saved all of his money.
He was a real cheapskate when it came to his
money. He loved money more than just about
anything, and just before he died, he said to
his wife, ‘Now listen, when I die I want you to
take all my money and place it in the casket
with me. Because I want to take all my money
to the after life.’
So he got his wife to promise him with all her
heart that when he died she would put all the
money in the casket with him. When one day
he died.”
“He was stretched out in the casket, the wife
was sitting there in black next to their best
friend. When they finished the ceremony,

just
before the undertakers got ready to close the
casket, the wife said, ‘Wait a minute!’
She had a shoebox with her, she came over
with the box and placed it in the casket. Then
the undertakers locked the casket and rolled
it away.”
“Her friend said, ‘I hope you weren’t crazy
enough to put all that money in there with
that stingy old man.’

She said, ‘Yes, I promised. I’m a good
Christian, I can’t lie. I promised him that I was
to put that money in that casket with him.’
‘You mean to tell me you put every cent of his
money in the casket with him?’
‘I sure did,’ said the wife. ‘I got it all together,
put it into my account and I wrote him a
check.’”

SEA pirates, who operated in Mbo Local
Government Council axis of the Gulf of
Guinea, last week drowned a seven-month
old baby. It was learnt that when the
pirates struck in Effiat in Mbo Local
Government Area, the baby’s mother
concealed her money in the baby’s sanitary
pad.

The pirates, who seized five boats
loaded with crayfish and collected sums of
money from fishermen, were said to have
found the money in the sanitary pad where
the woman concealed it after thorough
search.

pirates were said to have taken
the baby from the mother and
threw it violently into the sea
where the baby drowned. The
development was presented as
a matter of urgent public
importance by a member
representing Mbo State
Constituency in the Akwa Ibom
State House of Assembly, Mr.
Asuquo Ufuo, on Friday.
He stated that Mbo people had
suffered untold hardship in the
hands of sea pirates, who
attacked them and other
surrounding coastal
communities in the state
without restraint. “Our people
are living in fear. Sea pirates
unleash mayhem on them at
any given time. They cannot go
to sea to fish; and at sea, the
pirates will ambush them and
dispossess them of money and
whatever they can find on
them. They also steal their
outboard engines and boats.

“Most shocking is the woman,
who upon sighting approaching
militants/pirates decided to
conceal her money in her baby’s
sanitary pad. “After the bandits
had finished dispossessing
residents of their money and
were about to leave, they
suddenly returned and asked
the woman to surrender her
money.

“The woman was said to
have pleaded that there was no
money with her, the pirates
decided to conduct a thorough
search and in the process, they
discovered the concealed
money. They took the baby
from the mother and wickedly
drowned the baby after taking
the money,” he said.

A 28-year-old agricultural engineer held
captive for three days in the west African
country claims name-dropping his famous
compatriot calmed his violent aggressors
An Argentine kidnapped in Nigeria claims he
owes his life to Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
Santiago Lopez Menendez, a 28-year-old
agricultural engineer, had been working in the
west African nation since last year, planting
soya and corn crops close to Kontagora in the
north-west of the country.
But he was kidnapped earlier this week and
beaten violently by his captors, who hardly
spoke any English and thought he was north
American.
It was then in desperation that Menendez tried
to tell them he was Argentine and he was
eventually able to calm down his aggressors

Held captive for three days, the engineer was
eventually released after the company who
employs him paid an undisclosed ransom to
the kidnappers.
Back in Argentina, his brother Jorge spoke to

me.'"
Menendez is now safe and will return to his
homeland in the next few hours.

How should Muslims treat Christians? With
violence? Anger? Hatred? The answer is none
of the above. Below is the English rendering of a letter written by the Prophet Muhammad (sa) to all Christians. In a time when tensions between Islam and Christianity seem to be at an all time high, we remind our Christian friends that a true Muslim cannot hurt a Christian in any way, neither by his hand, nor by his tongue.

The below letter requires no explanation. We
hope it provides credence and comfort that
Prophet Muhammad (saw) truly celebrated his
Christian friends. (The original letter is now in
the Topkapi Museum in Instanbul)

“This is a message from Muhammad
ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those
who adopt Christianity, near and far,
we are with them. Verily I, the
servants, the helpers, and my
followers defend them, because
Christians are my citizens; and by
Allah! I hold out against anything that
displeases them.
No compulsion is to be on them.
Neither are their judges to be
removed from their jobs nor their
monks from their monasteries.
No one is to destroy a house of their
religion, to damage it, or to carry
anything from it to the Muslims’
houses. Should anyone take any of
these, he would spoil God’s covenant
and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they
are my allies and have my secure
charter against all that they hate.
No one is to force them to travel or to
oblige them to fight. The Muslims are
to fight for them. If a female Christian
is married to a Muslim, it is not to
take place without her approval. She
is not to be prevented from visiting
her church to pray.
Their churches are to be respected.
They are neither to be prevented from
repairing them nor the sacredness of
their covenants. No one of the nation
(Muslims) is to disobey the covenant
till the Last Day (end of the world).”

I have witnessed the way Ecobank treat their customers, I closed my acct with them in 2013 cos of their customer service. Had to tell everyone around me that its the worst bank when dealing with customers. Maintaining my GTB, Diamind and fcmb; I can boldly tell u diamond and gtb Customer service is top notch compared to Ecobank. They should work on their staffs. Kappish

True, I don't bank with Them But I do send money to ma fiance through them, and its mainly because the Bank don't accept inter bank transfer through d ATM.

Their staffs are very rude, and unfriendly, the two guys on d counter always hold their face like fresh shit wey rain just beat.
