na2day?:
did u see the word "celebrities" in my statement at all? undecided undecided undecided undecided
And did you see topic??  Why Do Naija Girls Put On Heavy Make Up
Take a minute and go through the post you replied to.
The emphasis is on "naija girls" and SOME of us already tried to erase that notion that it is not just about a set of people. . .  .  And when I saw your post, it only buttressed SOME of us stand. . . .
So dear, I applied SARCASM when I quoted you!

@Post

I'm really dead sick of all these "why do Nigerian girls this" or "why do Nigerians behave like this" posts. It's really getting out of hand. Are Nigerian ladies the only ones who wear make up? Who designed make up in the first place? Is it not oyibo people? How many oyibo ladies do you see outside without heavy make up especially the ones older than 30 years? Please, do not abuse nairaland with all these cheap and senseless posts simply because registration is free.

Nuff said!
na2day?:
actually u have not said anything, at least anything reasonable. ppl posting on this forum, senseless or not brings in the cash to keep the forum afloat by way of ads.
And why is this? Cos he addressed the topic better than you did?? Oh please!! undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

CultureRe: Why Do Naija Girls Put On Heavy Make Up by parislomo(f): 3:07pm On Jul 29, 2010
I don't think it's a "naija girls" thing. It's an individual thing. Cos you would be amazed at the heavy make-up of some non-naija girls.
And I seriously keep wondering why some ladies wear heavy make-up.
I'm not a make-up girl, but for every time I wear one I just end up being self conscious! Always on the look out for a mirror; anything that will reflect my face!!
I just find it burdensome wearing make-up no matter how minimally applied. . .

RomanceRe: How Do You Encourage A Shy Guy? by parislomo(f): 10:34am On Jun 12, 2010
I stand to be corrected, but I have come to conclude that, if a guy truly loves a gal in that manner, he would approach her no matter how shy he has been or is!
His moves might be clumsy and not clear stated but he would "always" drop hints for the gal to know where he is headed (or heading).
And going by the 'respect' angle, I perceive this dude in 'gist view' is not just shy but already has issues about our girl. . .

So, he is weighing his options and not going all out for the babe cos he is "wondering" if it would be worth his while afterall
cool

matiltom_d:
I don't subscribe to the general saying that all women lie about their age;because I've never lied about mine,
About Muma Gee and her age;well,I'm not her mother, but i know she's closer to 37 than 30, lol
how can that woman be 26/27? that's insulting to all those in that age bracket, lol

thank you o! I've neva had reason to lie about my age! joo o. . . And really, there should be a protest organized by those in this age bracket!

CultureRe: What Is Your Take On Homosexualism? by parislomo(f): 2:47pm On Jun 02, 2010
redsun:
Same thing you guys are saying about gay people is what white people say about black people, that blacks are unfit, unnatural and unappealing creatures taht shouldnot be condone, unless as slaves,
Sagamite:
Only an immensely daft slowpoke like redsun would compare gay rights to civil rights.

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=134573.msg2269375#msg2269375
Thanks Sagamite!

redsun:
You guys should grow up and reason like human beings. The top notchers that runs this world, are all gay.
Okpurhe:
@redsun so if the top notchers that runs this world, all walk the street without clothes and eat excreta we shud all do d same? Nice reasoning there!

@topic: I ll chose death over it. I serve a God who cannot see me go so low.
Thanks, you too!!

Op:

My take on homosexualism all around the world (not just Africa or Nigeria), is that we should look at a way of re-orientating those in the practice cos, it's obvious they have lost it 'upstairs'!!

There is no explanation whatsoever that justifies what they are doing. Like someone already stated above, God did not create ADAM & STEVE!! For crying out loud, there is defination to everything created!
It's simply a sick state of the mind!
