One question tho, was RvP a panic buy? RVP wasn't. We had Chicharito, Welbeck and Rooney as strikers b4 we went for him. |

SailorXY: I have already pointed out this early or late transfer tagging as bullshit.
A signpost says coffee shop is opened from 7:30am till 6:30pm - what does it matter if you choose to shak coffee in that shop either by 7:31am or wait till 6:29pm I don't understand bros.
We signed three (3) players over a weekend just the past transfer window, no media ever used the term "desperate". What do you think will be the descriptive if it was on deadline day? Good you got that answer right!
Ronaldo came when he was extremely raw, Rooney was CLEARLY better; & no it's not because of British media - every mo'fo seeing the games know that. Messi was never sold/bought.
Muller was LvG's first choice, what's wrong with that? He failed/realized it wasn't to be probably late on & moved onto the next one - so what? Now this example is all sorts of wrong The transfer market can be likened to ppl that buy tickets for a game from resellers(obviously they sell higher than the stipulated price for the tickets) after the tickets r sold out. Had we identified martial as our main target this summer we would hv gotten him cheaper than we did. Muller was the main target, Martial was plan B. This happened in 2013 when we nearly spent €40m on De Rossi on deadline day after chasing fabregas all summer. It's called a panic buy EOD |

SailorXY: do you really think all the clauses of top scorer or balon d' or will figure in his contract if the Monaco president or scouts don't see any potential or remote chance that he can develop that much? guy forget, a 19 year old is not just bought for 36m because Woodward woke up one morning smiling. extensive work MUST have gone into the process.
forget his bright start or goals, can't you see the nigga's composure or calmness? i don hear many people ask how old the guy truly is - a 19 year old (real 19) in Africa still stay in his momma's house & sneak porn DVDs, while arguing whether he should go for weekly church services or not.
dire or not, if they wouldn't bulge on their asking price - the won't cuz they clearly believe in his abilities. do you think United will sell Januzaj any less when he's under contract?
when someone posted a YouTube link of Martial, Chrisley was saying he lost the ball too much with average finishing & we started seeing some Chelshit/Arsenal fans comparing with Welbeck - i just shook my head; note its not because of how he started but there's this maturity in his game with extreme brilliance escaping where the defense is most stern. even when he scores, there's no extravagant running the whole length of pitch like he's done something unbelievable!
abeg forget, butter inside bread is not be the same as butter biscuits inside bread. Nobody is talking about his performance but his price tag. A 19 year old Messi or Cr7 wouldn't cost half of what we paid for Martial. You heard El jefe himself say that the kid's price tag is ridiculous which is absolutely true. The team might hv scouted him b4 but it doesn't mean that he was worth the price tag placed on him. He's 19 for f'ck's sake n we paid £36m which could potentially rise to £56m, where in the world will a 19 year old no matter his talent cost that much? In a different scenario we might hv gotten him on the cheap but due to our desperation, Monaco took advantage of that n we burned a hole through our pockets for a teenager. Now he is putting in a good shift n make no mistake I knew the guy will succeed at united cos I watched him play for Monaco last season n he has pace which I thought was lacking in our attack but for a potential hefty sum of €80m? If we went for him in the wee hours of the transfer window, most of u will curse Woodward n his ancestors for spending that much on an unproven teenager. We got him at the death, after chasing muller for much of the transfer window period, that alone shows desperation. |

I think reality on the other hand is much in play. You can't buy a player for £36m or more n send him back on loan (according to Monaco's President) for a whole year, say wetin happen? The truth is that we bought him at a ridiculous price which no other club n including us would hv paid if the situation was not dire. He was a panic buy n AS Monaco made sure that we parted with a hefty sum b4 we could get him. Whatever the President is saying is just pure justification of the insane price tag they placed on him. No 19 year old should cost that much. |

LTSHANGY: A club made more attractive bid than man utd for martial but the silky french talent opted for man utd.. And you believed that? These ligue 1 club presidents talk a lot, how can someone price Anthony Martial(let's say £40m) higher than we did n still send him back on loan for a year? na joke be that?. They just want to justify his price tag seeing that he is already performing n shutting up his doubters. |

This is utter crap! African teams r in FIFA so that rules out ur stцpid rants. The fact that Nigeria is not in FIFA 16 does not mean EA r racists (if they were, no African team will be put in their games) And what's the deal with anything that doesn't favor the African man he shouts racism, WTF?
How many female national teams r in FIFA 16? huh? 12 right? I haven't seen any of those countries left out blame FIFA for discriminating against their countries. The female national team is clearly aimed at getting them girls n ladies to start playing FIFA so I can't understand why a guy will be bothered about his country not making the females teams in FIFA 16.
The fact still remains that the fault is clearly not on EA's side as the FIFA 10 n 14 world cup editions, Nigeria was in it. |
