On two separate occasions(one being the period that we were on the verge of announcing the deal) Zidane still wanted Pogba and real Madrid would have gotten him if not that we offered Juventus more money. Even Barcelona and Chelsea courted the player last season with Barcelona going as far as almost agreeing a deal with Juventus for the player but were put off by the €100m asking price. Florentino Perez himself entered into negotiations with Juventus but ultimately backed down because of the various clauses in Pogba's contract with Juventus.


I no know if you de expect those clubs to go and kidnap Pogba before it looks like those clubs fought for the player.

Why did no other club fight for Pogba? By the way RM has Kroos Caisemero Modric James why would they want to buy Alli? They're are like the only other team apart from United that can pay stupid money for players.
I was looking at the stats from last season comparing Pogba with Dele and I don't see much difference considering the difference in quality of team mates and league. Maybe you also think Pogba is worth that fee after all.

If you talking about how much they cost maybe ok but talking about contribution to the team I don't see. Pogba was among goal scorers and had a couple of assists at Juve, Dele been doing same for TTH.

All is not lost this season though. We played well today, we just have to stop dropping silly points.

If a player can have decent dribbling skills, good pace and finishing then he has a very bright future. That was how Robben started too

I'm not criticising him rather I made mention of his style of dribbling which is cutting in from the left or right, cutting inside left/right and shooting alongside his pace. The boy is good no doubt and he is in an environment where he can get better. Football nowadays is judged by goals so he clearly needs to work on that.

This guy is possibly the deadliest winger of his age in Europe right now. Not just for the talent he has now but what he can become in the future.

1) dribbling his opponent and leaving him for dead is the least of his problems

2) he is a legitimate threat going to both left and right, , making him very unpredictable.

3) he is a decent to good passer of the ball already and his decision making will improve.

When his finishing improves he will be a terror.

No doubt about his talent and future potential. Just mentioned his style of dribbling.
