kokaneprodigy:Oga can you categorically confirm with evidence that the referee was influenced to change his decision on the matter? Did the referee personally tell you that he was asked to change his mind about the matter? All these megedefegede you dey yarn na just your imagination. The referee was criticized for not spotting the incident and then Harsley dropped his opinion on the matter, end of discussion! |
kokaneprodigy:So you are now switching from "the FA influenced the PGMOL" to the "PGMOL are responsible for the refs". Glad that we got that out of the way. Whether Aguero receives a yellow card or no card doesn't mean that the offense isn't red card worthy. It was an intentional elbow so it's punishment is a sending off and subsequent bans. You do know that the FA can overrule the decisions of a referee if they review the situation. Case in point is last season, during the Chelsea v Arsenal game at Stamford bridge where Gabriel was sent off by Mike Dean and Costa was just issued a yellow card after their scuffle. The FA rescinded the Gabriel red card and slapped Costa with a three match ban. Again the PGMOL is independent of the FA and according to harsley, these so called orders come from the PGMOL are not the FA. Now Mark harsley never confirmed that the said match official was told not to report the situation, let's get this straight, he just made known his experience as a referee and what he faced during his time. This doesn't mean that the referee in this situation faced the same problem that he did. |
Almost like say United were predicting that Aguero will do something stupid that will warrant him being suspend like say Aguero no play against us last season or that he is the more deadlier ancestor of Messi E be like say the weed wey de enter market nowadays don strong pass Mark Henry I blame the international break for this though. |
kokaneprodigy:For all I care, the referee saw it and for whatever reason decided not to act and after realising his mistake, proceeded to omit seeing the elbow so that he wouldn't have to explain why he saw that elbow and yet didn't dish out the necessary punishment required in this situations. You do know that the ninja currently making noise is a retired referee and not the referee that officiated the said match. You can't confirm that the referee was told not to report what he saw so that aguero will chop ban hence why your point of argument is utterly useless. Nobody forced Aguero to elbow Reid, he did so on his own volition and as such deserved either a red card in the match(which will result into match bans) or an fa review and subsequent ruling which will also result to match bans so anyhow you look at it, he deserves the punishment. kokaneprodigy:This doesn't relate to your earlier point about how the FA influenced the PGMOL in the aguero matter simply because the PGMOL is under the FA. Rather it proves me right that the PGMOL acts independently of the FA and thus those decisions are solely theirs as Harsley correctly said. |
kokaneprodigy:They are though, uefa and fifa. |
kokaneprodigy:He clearly stated that it's not the FA so no need to overflog this particular argument. The PGMOL, though under the FA, is an independent board. The decisions they make is solely theirs alone and doesn't involve any other body irrespective of the level the board is. Unless you have credible evidence otherwise and not your personal opinion. |
The basis of the argument in the first place was that the referee saw the intentional elbow from Aguero but chose not to do anything which resulted in the harsley tweet. |
kokaneprodigy:Oga watch that video well enough and you will see that he wasn't contesting for the ball. |
kokaneprodigy:Using your goats and yam theory I can as well postulate that the ref intentionally refused to send Aguero off so that he will play the Manchester derby. ![]() |
kokaneprodigy:I didn't watch the Arsenal game so I didn't see the Sanchez elbow. Shey you know that there's intentional and unintentional elbowing. Unintentional elbowing may get you a yellow card, a warning or in some cases self, a red card depending on how the referee sees it. But an intentional elbowing(just like Aguero's) gets you a three match ban and in some cases, a fine even. |
kokaneprodigy:I didn't even see this. E be like say you don de blind at your age. His second tweet read "to be fair on the FA, it's not them, it comes from with in(sic) the PGMOL.
|
kokaneprodigy:This is ridiculously ludicrous so the ref chose not to punish Aguero in that match so that the FA will ban him from playing in the derby? What sort of weed una de smoke this days? If the referee had decided to act on the decision, Aguero would have been sent off and will still miss the derby. I'm surprised that you haven't accused United of bribing Aguero to elbow Reid so as to miss the derby. |
kokaneprodigy:Another day and another megedefegede from you. Wetin concern United with what a former referee said in regards to the Aguero/Reid argument? A-40 posted a picture that had the initial tweets of Harsley regarding the referee controversial matter and about the sports fixing and bias in the EPL. I moved to rectify the okpaks which any sane being will do but kokaneprodigy will not understand the reason why I was involved in the matter before jumping into the matter like a frog. |
Clearly from his tweets, he states that the FA has nothing to do with it and neither did he mention anything about sports fixing and bias in the EPL, rather he blames the PGMOL. No de spread false info around. |
A40:Oga where you get this picture? Because the former ref only said this...
|
Danhumprey:it's the afcon final group match. |
Lana1:I don't think Mourinho is going to do that, not when Ecuador is playing their World Cup qualifiers. |
So apparently, miki could miss the derby due to a thigh injury (we no need this kain early injuries, the reason I fear international breaks) and valencia will definitely miss it as he will return to OT on Friday after his international commitment, meaning that we will be two short in the squad against city if our players come out of their remaining international fixtures unscathed. Possible match day squad. GK - De gea RB - Darmian or even Smalling LB - Shaw CB - Bailly and Blind MF - Pogba, Schneiderlin, AMF - Mata, Rooney(would have loved rashford), Martial ST - Ibrahimovic. |
Greatihex:congrats man! Now go serve and come and join us in wearing corporate to work. ![]() |

Aguero handed a 3 match ban following an fa review of his elbow on Reid. He will miss 2 premier league games(United and Bournmouth) and also the EFL cup game against Swansea. |
chrisley024:Second chance you think? Or na just for show. |
elampiro:Actually he called called kante very early, when Leicester still de try convince am to stay and e head been de spin then. |
Other transfer wahala... Apparently witsel was in Turin yesterday ahead of a move to Juventus. Medicals were conducted, personal terms agreed and the player/club were just waiting for a thumbs up from Zenith for the deal to be completed but after wasting both the player and Juventus's time, the Russian club pulled the plug. Heartbreaking for the player. And what about M'villa, who was already at the Heathrow airport calling Sunderland officials but none picked his call. Sunderland said that Rubin was asking for £7m and they weren't ready to splash the cash instead they will try to bring him in in the January transfer window. Bros just de cry for airport (well according to him) ![]() ...

The Sissoko saga... So according to sky sports, Sissoko's agent hawked him to Everton and they agreed to pay Newcastle the money that they(Newcastle) were asking for which is £30m, Everton then proceeded to arrange the necessary paperwork, arranged a private jet to fly the noob saibot into Merseyside for a medical but after the Everton officials and Ronald Koeman himself called the player to personally welcome him to the club, he refused to pick their call and hours later, his agents informed Everton that he was no longer interested in moving to their club. Turns out that Levy matched their bid for the player and offered UCL footie (like say them go carry am) plus obviously more money for him and his agent and just like that, he signed for Tottenham. Everton were obviously devastated by the way the transfer went. At least e no do medical come dey go chelsea like willian did Spurs. |
Supernatural has been renewed for the 13th season. Rick Springfield will play one of the vessels of Lucifer, Vince Vincente a washed up rockstar, in season 12. |
stylochime:Yeah for the first time in years, I'm not looking forward to deadline day. Advantages of doing business early. |
codedguy1:You don't need to, na hen's brain you don forget? |
Check out this disallowed goal scored by a striker in one of the lower leagues in the USA. Na dis kain striker Arsenal need, not Asano ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLIKsy6tnIk |
chrisley024:No he could face an fa ban for that elbow on Reid. |
Aguero looks like he's going to miss the Manchester derby for his elbow on Reid. |
