My dear, sometimes learn to persevere. Sorry doesn’t cost a thing. If I were you, I would gladly do so particularly cause my take-home pay comes from there. Sometimes in life, we win some, lose some too. To me, it’s never too late. Go see the school admin and tender unreserved apology and then proceed to do same to the affected colleague you had the altercation with. That way, you probably might get your job back. Please do so fast. At the appropriate timing you can seek redress but this time and precision isn’t the right timing.

Good day Nairalanders, To say I’m disrupted and perturbed will be an understatement because tell me why a School Admin will dismiss his Staff simply because she refused to apologize to a staff who insulted her in presence of students simply because he’s an Old Staff who teaches Senior Class Mathematics and I’m a new staff teaching CRS.

I’ve been working with this said school since April 2024, I was assigned to Teach CRS to Jss1/2 which I did awesomely. The students can attest to the fact that I tutor them well and they Love me and my Teaching.
After the Altercation I was the person who reported the issue to the School Admin so the Man can be cautioned and reprimanded, instead I was the one being rebuked and told to apologize which I blatantly refused cause I never insulted him.
I later took the matter to the Proprietor of the school who said the Old staff was wrong for insulting me , he promised to speak with the Admin concerning the issue while I was waiting to get justice the next thing was to receive a letter of Dismissal.
Only God knows the Lies Lucky said to the Proprietor which made him to be a party to the dismissal.
When I went to complain to the Proprietor about the Dismissal letter he said Lucky I.e the school admin requested I apologize to the Man and I refused so In that case his hands is off.

Just like that I was Dismissed because the Administrator wanted to prove a point that he’s superior. My God will judge him even after drinking my birthday malt, Same way he disgraced me out of duty karma will definitely do same to him.

Ps: while I was going to report the issue to the Proprietor of the school I heard Lucky uttering that next Time they tell me something to say I will say it!
Can you imagine?? I should apologize for what I didn’t do?

For the sake this poor boy is an orphan who has gone through the rigours of schooling and then graduating, he should be allowed to complete his NYSC. Life is already too hard. Let’s not make it worse off.

I witnessed same as well when I served in 2013 at Maritime Academy, Oron in Akwa Ibom state. It was very rampant there then. I had two civil servants in my unit who had HIV. They weren’t hiding it then. Thursdays was for their retroviral drugs. It was really scary for me then

Why not try Maduka University Enugu, it's cheap and fully accredited for a private university...


It's one of the best in Nigeria although new.

You can also look up Shanahan University, Onitsha another great school.

I believe igbinedion university has churned out the most doctors/pharmcist/ nursing graduates for a private university. Their medical school started in 1999 they had their first set of doctors in 2007(8 years+)

I heard covenant was starting medicine.
I believe Afe babalola started too.

Funny I just met a nurssing student some minutes ago inside a keke. She's studying at Birmingham university (I think karu, nassarawa) . She told me they have medicine and have graduated medical students.
I was surprised so I asked when they started the medical program and she said around 2011 which is fair.( if u consider the fact that a school like ekpoma had their first set of doctors after 15 years, uni Abuja had theirs in 2017 after 12 years.)

I don't know about now, but their medicine used to be terrible( 12 years+ ago).
No accreditation then and their students would switch schools.

I remember a gal even telling us that she tan away from the school even without her parents knowing.....


Besides, on a personal level, I haven't heard or read of achievements or news in the media about that school in more than a decade.

Ok thanks for sharing. I surely will research this as well. I opted for that school cause it’s the cheapest medicine tuition fees compared to other private universities. Thanks once again and I will appreciate if you can suggest other viable private university alternatives. Thanks.
