It is over. We no dey go WC |
Kai, so we no go go world Cup. Men God abeg! |
I am happy this girl is getting a second chance and making the best use out of it. I pray she turns a new leaf and become a blessing to her generation. May the soul of Ataga continue to rest in peace and I pray that God grants his family the fortitude to bear the irrepairable loss. Amen |
Otuegbe:Those professional bodies you mentioned can only act if there was an official official petition against their member. In this case, the EFCC won't go that way so as to get maximum support from their witness. |
Gamesmart:They won't cause the said medical practitioner must have reached a truce not to have his medical licence withdrawn before he can stand as a witness for the prosecution counsel. The medical practitioner is of little importance to the prosecution counsel and their main target is the defendant. Hence, they will swiftly embrace the offer just to nail the accused. |
Kabongo1:Let's be civil enough in our discussions. Even if we tend to disagree, we gain a lot by educating each other and that makes it very interesting too. Thank you. |
a4cube:We are looking at the possibility of a conventional war here. Both scenarios are different ball game all together. History is about to repeat itself again. |
FERNANDEZISBACK:Most of them don't understand international politics. Some sentiments were born out of hatred for US due to its embassies denying them visas and then they take it personal. Some others are influenced by religious sentiments and sees the west as a Jewish dominated zone and the rest. In all, Putin knows he can't fight NATO as a whole. |
FERNANDEZISBACK:Yes his advisers aren't doing a good job. He is tactically playing into the hands of the Western powers he so much detastes. There is a military adage which says, be careful when your tactical approach seems to be going too smoothly cause you just might be walking into the enemies trap. Putin is about to test the super powers of the unified Western allies. |
SUPERPACK: |
FERNANDEZISBACK:The equation has changed now, so has the dynamics of international politics. NATO is already encircling Russian federation as a while. Russia has no tangible ally in this pending war. What is about to hit Russia this time might take centuries to heal. NATO troops are already stationed in Poland, Czech Republic and the rest. These countries have close proximity to mainland Moscow. Militarily, politically and economically, Russia will lose on all fronts. No doubt about that. |
FERNANDEZISBACK:Putin really hit below the belt this time. I used to think he was intelligent enough but his recent calculations has suggested otherwise. Who goes to war with no tangible allies to backup? Is he banking on China? Nah! Those guys are wise enough to stay clear off it. NATO is already encircling Eastern Europe. Give or take, its only going to take 2 weeks for Russia to lay its arms down if full scale war happens. Russians will never forgive Putin for the massive onslaught and destruction of their country as a whole. The handlers of Putin should have a rethink. SERGIE, the Russian foreign Secretary is an intelligent man. I see that guy leading Russia soon. So sad that putin isn't giving that guy a listening ear. |
Laggafin:Yes bro. If I were to be amongst his political think-tank, I will keep him abreast on this. Cheers bro. |
Laggafin:I read your writeup and we tend to head same direction that a Tinubu presidency isn't foreseeable except the aspect of Northern Oligarchy to be sympathetic to Tinubu course. I used the word 'emotionally' sympathetic on the basis that the former was very much instrumental to Buhari becoming president. This shouldn't be misconstrued that he has his political blessings. Even the blind knows Buhari won't support Tinubu cause he is fantastically corrupt beyond redemption but Mr. President has allowed Tinubu dynasty to Foster in Lagos so it won't seem he was biting the hands that fed him. That's where the 'emotional' sympathy comes to play. Mr. President has the entire government parastatals at his discretion yet he hasn't come for Tinubu dynasty in lagos. Tinubu has good number of northern politicians on his payroll and that's why you get the hyping from these politicians in the North but that doesn't mean the core northern oligarchs would hand him the presidential ticket. My take is, Tinubu is about pushing his luck too far. He should continue to maintain his king maker position as becoming the king himself would amount to starting a fire right inside his sitting room. He will get his hands burnt. |
Laggafin:You are welcome bro. |
Laggafin:I tend to agree with you on this but let's not forget this man Tinubu can be likened to be the proverbial cat with nine lives. Remember how he suffered the PDP onslaught in the Southwest region during the Obasanjo presidency. Let's give it to him that he is a good political animal who knows his game well. I had say he will be quick to throw in the curtain on his presidential ambition and support his erstwhile political son, Osinbanjo than to loose his mouth watering main source of income which is lagos state coffers. Truly we are going to have interesting times ahead. But I doubt his chances of getting the APC presidential ticket. Truly interesting times ahead. |
There is no doubt that the current president's kitchen cabinet members are against Tinubu. Of course they know that the best way to deal a deadly blow on him is to stiffen his financial prowess which is the coffers of the lagos state government. Let's ask why hasn't this been done ever since? The answer isn't far fetched. Mr. President is emotionally sympathetic to the Tinubu course cause he was very much instrumental to him becoming president. The book that was recently launched by Akande couldn't have come a better time that this just to emotionally blackmail Mr. President who himself was physically present at the book launch. Call it asslicking but Tinubu has repeatedly extended olive branch to the northern region and this has earned him much support in that region and this has further boosted his presidential bid. If the kitchen cabinet members like Mai Buni and the likes of attorney General of the federation cannot whittle down Tinubu's presidential ambition, despite having the ears of Mr. President, what makes you think that a sleeping opposition as the Lagos PDP can do that? There is more to politics than public sentiments. Yes, lagosians will love to see change at Alausa but the current political structure in lagos cannot guarantee that. It will take more of a conventional revolution than mere political yearnings and wishes to attain that. Laggafin: |
Laggafin:A proverbial adage says, a rich man doesn't fall to the bare floor no matter the slide of the fall. Tinubu's grip on lagos is so firm that it is not foreseeable to unseat him in lagos 2023. Certainly not with the under developed political landscape in Nigeria as a whole. I agree with you that progress has been made and the Nigerian electorates are now clamouring for younger and vibrant political leaders, but these old crop of political merchants won't go away anytime soon. |
Well I didn't get a glimpse of this prior before my analysis. If its factual that Aregbesola made these statements, its crystal clear that the battle line has been drawn. But I am certain Aregbesola will loose out on both sides of the divide. Like the popular aphorism, he who the gods will kill, they first make him mad. Aregbesola just shot himself on the foot politically. Laggafin:1 |
Watch the drama as it unfolds.. read de line where he said * if someone was denied a second term in Lagos.. why not Osun* then u will know exactly who he is referring to.. He dares not make such comments If he is still interested in keeping dat dynasty as u Said.. Politics is transient.. no permanent friends or enemies,,only interest is permanent[/quote Aregbesola will be making a suicidal move politically if he dares his benefactor, Tinubu. Yes Tinubu needs him now but mind you, Aregbesola's tenure as a Minister is coming to an end and that marks the beginning of the end to his political relevance. So he needs his benefactor even more now cause he stands the chance to lose out his position on the GAC and then Osun local politics. Mind you, I am neither a supporter of APC or TInubu but I like to religiously study political permutations. |
Tinubu is loosing grip of everytin.. he has also lost another strong former stooge and loyalist .. Aregbesola will ensure Adeleke is the next Gov of Osun if he doesn't succeed in stopping Oyetola in the primaries[/quotep] Aregbesola is only trying to send a strong message that he is still relevant in Osun politics. He will never want to loose his position in the TINUBU political dynasty. Remember Aregbesola holds sway in few LGA in Lagos and also a member of the Governor advisory Council which Tinubu calls the shot there. So at the tail end, Aregbesola only wants to be pacified and allowed some form of control but he will never be a spoiler to Oyetola's reelection bid. |

Ybaby:Please go study hard and face your studies. There should be age limit on certain topics. More reasons I hardly comment here and only just read comments. Enjoy your weekend and hoping you make your parents proud. Cheers |
Ybaby:I don't know how old you are but I know there are lot of underage here so I hardly respond to some comments. The truth is I am looking for someone to love me for who I am and truly into me as well. I am highly contended with my personal attainments and don't require any validation whatsoever from you. Thank you |
NNEVERAGAINN:The underlying point I am making is you don't get such an amount easily here. Hardwork, dedication and commitment on the part of the wife is what I am trying to emphasis on |

I am here in Europe. €2,900 isn't child's play. She is really a virtuous woman. I pray I find someone like her too for a wife someday. I'm not giving up hope. |
everythinggirly:Please I can I get to know you more? |
b3llo:Honestly he shouldn't have been in touch until after the match seriously |
Immediately I heard Mr. President was in touch with these guys, I knew today might be a bad omen |
