Please how did you resolve this, I am in the same mess right now Solafemsy27: |
This is the response I got from my AVITS support just now. My details are all correct Efetobore1980:

I emailed Lagos Efetobore1980:
|
I have actually done that but the screenshots attached were the responses I got. I have as well raised another ticket on AVITS which is currently on hold. The whole process is so nauseating and tiring 😭 Efetobore1980:

I actually made the payment at first bank office with cash because I do not have an account with them and that's my biggest concern. You will pay online problem, you will take the risk and go to the bank with your own money still problem. Omo they should resolve this problem for me o because I'm financially drained right now. Oluwaseun2025: |
Thanks for your thoughtful input. I have done that on my pending appointment section but I couldn't automatically book dates as the payment wasn't confirmed automatically as it supposed to be. When I try to manually confirm it by inputting the bank reference number and the date of payment it shows "given payment reference doesn't exist". Based on this I have raised another support ticket of which is currently on hold. Maybe I will utilize your last option of sending an email to see if it works. I wouldn't know if anything is wrong with my profile because from my end everything seems ok, aside from the fact that my previous 2 denials was in cameroon. ●▪︎ Login to your Avits and click on " Pending Appointment. It should take you to calendar where you will pick a date. Physical payment at the bank, if done appropriately should validate your payment and give you access to picking a date within 48hrs (at worst). As the last resort you can follow the embassy guideline as follow : If you have challenges scheduling your appointment or you had a valid GTBank/First Bank receipt and having issues using the receipts on the new appointment portal, email us at LagosNIV@state.gov ( Copy avits amentum : nigeria@usvisaappt.com) With the following information: USE THIS SUBJECT LINE: V44 - Unable to Schedule Appointment on AVITS Full name Date of birth DS-160 Confirmation number (starts with AA) Passport Number Copy of GT/1st Bank Receipt A short description of your situation including screen shots if applicable. As per your 4th attempt with full-funding, dont you think you are doing something wrong and without you detecting and addressing the culprit, they will keep denying the visa.
|
Please I made my MRV payment at first bank since a week now yet my payment hasn't been confirmed on AVITS. I have visited first bank and they said everything is correct based on the print out yet the payment haven't reflected on my profile to enable me book a date. Is there any how I can navigate this issue? I don't even have another money to pay again as this is my fourth attempt with full funding 😭😭😭 |
Greetings everyone Please I need help right now probably someone might have encountered this before. I paid my visa fee (MRV )at first bank since last week Thursday and ever since my payment hasn't been validated to enable me book my appointment of which supposed to have automatically been validated. If I try including my amentum number to validate my payment it keeps saying that reference doesn't exist. I sent a ticket to support through my AVITS portal and they said that my details must all match for my payment to be validated. Please has anyone encountered this before? |
Ok but why will someone stress himself to get a dollar card and still meet aboki to buy dollar at black market rate and still pay tfare back to bank, stand on the queue to deposit it into your account? Why not use chippercash and rest? agentarcher: |
Won't the bank charge you for the dollar card? Heard you are required to deposit a minimum of 120dollars. 20dollars will be deducted as bank charges while the 100dollars will remain. Rahkman: |
The review on pyypl is very negative. I'm just scared using them. Especially if my transaction fails, how do I withdraw my funds? Bhadmus77: |
While applying for your Msc, did you forward your ND and HND transcripts to your school? |

Plz am having difficulty with my BCS form filling. My country can't pop out. Do you know how I can go about this. Thanks Most times you will not know till you pick up your result. The mail I was sent had no indication mine increased (it increased). But there are occasions where they indicate it in the mail.
|
Yours was okay, mine was disastrous. I had the whole confidence until I approached stand8. The young man was friendly but I was jittering and blabbing. I hated myself because I was below my best. I knew I could have done better. It took me 48hrs to get over a self inflicted mess. Is not a do or die affair but I will try again! Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I was exhausted to the bone So here it goes : I must say I enjoyed the process so much though tiring from all the queuing. I'm in Ghana, 23 and a student. Straight DENIAL! This whole idea of visiting the US was from my parents. I won't lie I doubted I stood a chance after going through people's experiences but I had already done a lot and was only awaiting my interview day. I was positive all the same because my intentions were good. I thank God all the same . Interview day I woke up around 4 or 4:30am I don't remember because my mum woke me up while I was just trying to enjoy my sleep. So fast forward to 6am when I and parents reached the embassy. First timer, completely lost and confused. I asked a personnel what I had to do before my 7:30 appointment and he told me to hang around a tree where I saw lots of people standing and waiting. I went ahead and stood there for a while till some police officer asked those who had their interview to form a queue. I did go through the checks etc it was already past 7:30 and I was already waiting my turn to be interviewed. I wasn't paying attention to those being interviewed except one pastor who was approved a visa and one university lady who was denied and another guy who was also denied. So after the guy who was denied, I was asked to go to that VO. One chubby guy with beard and in his mid 30's . Honestly he was cool. VO: Hi good morning Me: good morning(cheerfully) how are you? VO: fine thank you (looking at his computer typing) May I have your passport please? Me: sure(smiles) I caughed lightly and said sorry and he said no problem (still typing) he wasn't looking too serious as I said he was cool VO: So why are you going to the US Me: I'd love to spend my long summer break sightseeing and exploring interesting places in the US and also I'll be visiting my uncle VO: typing what I said and even repeating what I said I was smiling (now I know they type our answers for future purposes) Where in the US are you going to? Me: Columbus ,Ohio VO: What do you do? Me: I'm a student of bla bla VO: What course do you offer? Me: I'm a 1st year student pursuing a 4-year degree programme in information technology but I'll be progressing to my 2nd year after the break VO: okay. He nodded still typing. Have you traveled before? Me: No sir. VO: okay. Are you married? Me: I'm very single with a grin VO: looks at me and smiles Okay do you have kids? Me: No sir (smiles) VO: okay. I'm sorry bla bla (y'all know the rest already lol) As he was handing me my passport and the 214b paper I asked wasn't being a student a strong enough tie to return (even though I knew the answer already lol still wanted to know all the same) Surprisingly he suggested another thing for me. Asking if I've heard of the J-1 visa for exchange program to which I nodded and said yes ,that I did plan on applying for that next year and he went ahead to say it'll be the best choice for me as a student and not only would I be able to visit some places in the US but I'll also be able to work (summer work and travel) So I said ok and thank you with a smile and elegantly left the premises to announce the outcome to my mum who was waiting anxiously for some good news. She felt bad but I assured her it's alright and the next time I'll go through with the J-1 visa successfully. So that's it. No docs checked as usual. This forum helped a lot. Kudos to the brains behind it and to those awaiting, all the best.
|
