Regardless of whether I'm dating or married, I'm still an individual with opinions and principles that may be different from my SO's. The idea of submissiveness means -to me- that I no longer get to be a person. I'm just supposed to be okay with whatever my SO says or does.

And I cannot picture myself living like that.
