Amotolongbo: Let's break it down: - 7 men + 7 wives = 14 adults - Each of the 14 adults has 7 children, so: - Total children = 14 x 7 = 98 - Total number of people = 14 adults + 98 children = 112
So, the total number of people is 112..
To those getting 63. The question didn’t say each couple. It said each man and wife 63 is the right answer. You have committed error of double counting by assigning 7 children to each of the 14 adults. 7 children should simply be assigned to a couple each (a man and his wife) because no man or woman can have children individually without the other party. 7 men and their 7 wives = 14 adults. Each man and his wife have 7 children together. Simply multiply a couple's 7 children by the 7 couples and you will get 49 children. Add the 49 children produced by all the couples (14 adults) and you will get 63. Any other permutations is over analyzing of the question. No man can have 7 children without a wife in that scenario and no woman can have the 7 children without a husband too. |

bammyllonaire: Let's break it down step by step:
1. Men:
There are 7 men
2. Wives:
Each man has 1 wife
So, 7 men × 1 wife = 7 wives
3. Children:
Each man and his wife have 7 children
So 7 couples × 7 children = 49 children
---
Now, add them up:
Men = 7
Wives = 7
Children = 49
Total people = 7 + 7 + 49 = 63
✅ Answer: 63 people This is the only correct answer |

GistMedia0: A Nigerian man has melted hearts online after sharing emotional before-and-after photos of himself and his wife, showcasing their inspiring journey from humble beginnings to success.
In the throwback photos, the couple could be seen sitting by a makeshift table on the street, where the man sold fairly used phones. His wife—then his girlfriend—was beside him, smiling and offering support. Fast forward to the present, the updated photos show the same couple standing proudly inside a well-furnished gadget store, now stocked with high-end tech items worth millions of naira.
The man accompanied the photos with a short but powerful message: "She stood by me when I had nothing. Now we’re here. This is our journey."
One comment read, “This is the real meaning of ‘I was there for you!” Nonsense mentality. She didn't do him a favour. The stage he was in life then was even higher than hers. So, she was his category socially and economically then. Enough of this "I stood by you when you were nobody" rubbish. If she was in higher strata than him, she wouldn't be his girlfriend then. |

yemre: No!
A state road linking major places and built by a state governor should be made a double lane. According to the post, the road serves as a viable alternative for people traveling to Owerri (Imo State), which makes it a major road that leads out of town.
Abeg this is 2025! It's not nice! You have answered yourself - an alternative road. It means it is not the primary road to Owerri, which means it does not see heavy traffic. |

SmartPolician: Can we just stop building single lanes in this country? It's not safe driving on such roads. Even if you care about your own safety, you are not sure of the upcoming vehicles. Some roads just have to be single lane. Many factors are responsible for determining how many lanes should a road be. |

Proudlyngwa: I personally don't know if subsidy is gone because without subsidy diesel should be cheaper than PMS , so am sceptical about that, more money being given to governors does not mean better economy in fact it can lead to inflation which is too much money chasing too few goods. The idea of local government autonomy is one area I think this government has tried and should money get to the grassroots via local government I believe things will get better as local production might increase and the centre might decongest, which is one problem we have had for too long , everyone migrating to state capitals making price of things in the city too expensive.
Fubara would have resisted his impeachment because he did not believe in the assembly saying the assembly does not exist I will advise you to read up on Ekiti and fayoses tenure , where we had 3 people claiming to be govenor Fubara's wings had already been clipped by the SC judgment. That was the reason he was running helter-skelter to appease the House. In any case, impeaching him remains what could have been the right thing to do if he must be removed. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Definitely NOT Whom We Thought He Was by PassingShot(op): 8:22am On Mar 25, 2025 |
Proudlyngwa: You guys will continue getting disappointed because your expectations of government is Utopian. As far as am concerned though Tinubu being a monumental failure in a lot of aspects, he has done better than past presidents who kept on cosmeticing our inefficiency. Fuel subsidy is said to be gone and hopefully so, multiple exchange rates which led to round tripping looks like a thing of the past. Food scarcity was caused by the ineffectual Buhari's handling of herders farmers issue discouraging a lot of people from going into farming.
You guys just want cheap things not better things and you are willing to eat deep into your unborn generations future to have it.
As for Fubara, he declared that he does not recognise the legislature and no government can exist without the legislature. He set the tone for anarchy . I personally don't want cheap things at the expense of better things. I did not think we needed to continue with all the subsidies. However, we should ask ourselves if the govt has managed the gains of subsidy removal well to benefit the masses. Giving more money to the governors, for them to do as they wish with, is not the way to invest the gains from the subsidy removal. Btw, we are not sure that subsidy is totally gone, especially with the disparity in the dollar/naira rate that still exists. As for Fubara, the sensible thing would have been to allow him be removed constitutionally by the HoA. That is what the constitution recognizes in removing a democratically elected governor. The president could have deployed military personnel to secure the pipes while pre-empting the chaos that may greet Fubara's impeachment. Anyhow you dice it, removing him in the manner the president did is undemocratic, especially when he had on two previous occasions condemned such actions. Supporting his move amounts to only one thing - hypocrisy. |

Proudlyngwa: There is no time the economy has not been collapsing according to Nigerians.
Shagari era was austerity and essence Buhari took over and was removed because economy was collapsing
IBB came and we had stomach adjustment programme and operation 1-0-1, chop 1 miss 1 and chop 1,
Abacha came and we know what happened
Obasanjo Nigeria jagajaga, multiple ethnic clashes, political instability, high level corruption,
Goodluck Jonathan, stealing is not corruption, fuel scarcity, useless local content ideology,
Buhari insecurity, economy collapse, naira for naira exchange in one country killing businesses. Trial by error policies
Tinubu .Indifference to corruption by top brass
So tell me when Nigeria was ever food to anyone in that particular dispensation Bro, we are talking of astronomical increase in prices of goods within a year (now running into 2) of the govt. Buhari managed to keep prices to reasonable levels despite our cash crunch challenges of his first tenure. And the fact that the economy has always been going south cannot be a reason not to call a govt out for it. |

On the economy, you just typed "this is a false allegation". You should ask yourself the questions - is the economy doing good? Did his ministers not blame the poor economy on PMB (past govt)?. Did Tinubu caution them about it (the sensible thing to deduce is that if he cautioned them, they would not blame the past govt)? 2. On Obasa, you only said Obasa would nothave been removed if BAT was involved in the beginning. Was that the point in my post? Was Obasa duly removed or not? Was BAT involved in re-instating him or not? I can't be wasting my time on someone who can't even comprehend simple issues. |

Politics › Tinubu Is Definitely NOT Whom We Thought He Was by PassingShot(op): 7:20am On Mar 25, 2025 |
Why do I say this?
1. His mismanagement of the economy and encouraging his appointees, through his silence, to blame it on his predecessor (PMB). 2. His meddling in the Lagos Assembly leadership tussle that resulted in returning a speaker that was validly removed. 3. His undemocratic removal of Rivers state governor and the elected reps there, just to ensure that Wike has the final say. He could, and should have allowed Fubara to be impeached if he could not mediate properly. That would have been democratic and heaven will not fall had Fubara been impeached. 4. The revelation that the NASS members were bribed to support his military-styled removal of a sitting governor - something he had vehemently condemned in the past! 5. His son's involvement in how the country is governed.
I can go on and on. He is becoming a tyrant and he may easily destroy what is left of our democracy.
He is another disappointment. Seems all of them are, sadly so. |
