Thanks to everyone who responded that year. I almost forgot I was ever so desperate for a car . lol! Just for fillers... I went on to get the car loan because the policy was silent on it and my line manager understood my plight (although his boss was not impressed because he thought i was just being materialistic) but I didnt buy the car immediately, I put the money into co-operative and towards the end of the year pulled it out in double along with other savings. (I recall I was saving 2/3 of my monthly salary in co-operative then and every other bulk money like leave allowance/Xmas bonus etc went fully into co-operative as well). That year by December, I got a 1999CAMRY, BOUGHT a piece of land and travelled ON HOLIDAY to the UK. Then it was like my a major breakthrough because of where I was coming from, JOBLESNESS!!! Since then God has been faithfully and today I actually have an official brand new car from the same company which fall due for change every 4years. Seeing this actually humbled me and made me realize how far God has brought me. I pray his mercies continue to show for me and mine and for you all. Thank you for being a part of my story. |
Thanks Seal777 I believe I never saw this response till now. Brings back great memories of life since that time. God has been faithful. I went on to buy the camry and go a good deal. I got it for like 1.1m then and its still working till date though i transffered it to my mother 1 YEAR after. |
Hi Chuckuka16. please drop an email i can reach you on, i'll like to enquire about relocating to Uk from nigeria this year |
Really i am not so surprised. the babe obviously is never mindful of her marital status in any of her films she goes out of her way to want to prove that she is sexy. you will see that she takes pleasure in dressing provocatively even wen it is unnecessary. then from scratch i tot the guy probably just took advantage of her somhow coz i once read the guy was living with teh mother and immediately after the mother's death he married her. the story didnt add up to me but then God knows what we dont know. i wish both of them all the best and may the find their ways through life before its too late. at least for teh sake of the kids |

my dear just concentrate on making good grades and distinguishing yourself; law practice is about self worth not necessarily about teh institute. Cheers |
May i have your general opinion on a Nigerian used 2008 honda city that was bought 3 years ago that has done 75,000 in mileage and a tokunbo 1999 toyota camry. which is a better bargain. the honda city has been inspected and it is quite neat, the engine sounds ok no general visible fault. note: the honda goes for N1m while teh camry ofcourse is an average of N1.5m |
Just want to ask, are you a white woman or an indian woman? meanwhile, i havent seen what your husband's offence is here. so take the tag nigerian man out of teh gist, |
Is that why Jonathan is yet to sympathize with the berieved and the victims of teh flood, you can imagine how much value our politicians place on our lives, its more of pdp/acn not lives and property loss. They play politics even at the expense of our lives. Na wah o. |
my dear you seem very immatured and just seeking for attention. how can you be asking if 120k is sufficient to marry on ? ofcourse it is more than enof do you know how many people marry on 30k etc and have a good life? Marriage is not about money its about maturity which i see you do not have so get that first and then begin to consider settling down aftawards. you are bothered if 120k suffices for family upkeep, if you loose teh job while your wife is yet to get a job what will you do die of fear or hunger? if you earn 120k and you still have a complex what will you do then. stop wasting our time here are the tips for you: i. begin to assocaite with responsible family men and understand how they keep the family going. ii. Adopt a daddy mentality that make you take responsible decisions based on facts and not fables iii. Attend matured/married persons seminars, parties etc. iv. Discuss family matter with your fiancee and encourage her to make friends with matured and responsible married women. Add other tips from other columnist and you will see that when it is time to get married you will know it yourself and though money will be a consideration it will not be unduly brain wrecking like you have made it. |
i just got my confirmation letter in my company. generally there is a policy for car loan to personel and i am in dere need of a car as i take 4 buses to get to work and its killling me slowly. i was so such i would get a car loan immediately i am confirmed but somehow i dont seem too sure anymore. is it proper to ask for a loan immediately you are confirmed? wont it send wrong signals about your desperations? Honestly i am desperate but i'm particular about work ethics particularly in international standards. |
