all that stuff, dont think we want to go through that.

the so called car electricians can make a mess of ones car, we would rather leave it as V6 if it will still end up consuming fuel resulting from a sluggish movement.

talking about fuel consumption, its okay its just that you cannot compare it the regular honda/toyota.

also, the car clutch depressed and i could not drive today cos gear will not change and i noticed that some kind of oil leaked out from the clutch pad, will this be expensive to repair?

the vehicle is a 1990 325ix

I am starting this thread because me and my husband are trying to conclude if changing a V6 engine an old BMW is worth the stress and the funds than buying another car.


Can a v6 engine be changed to the V4?
If it can, what can one expect to experience after it has been changed?
Apart from getting a new engine, will the wiring change? Because someone told us that i will have to buy another ECU (brainbox)
Do we need to buy anything apart from the V4 engine?
What other intricacies are involved in making the car run smoothly
Ps:i forgot to mention that its a manual drive.
