So chillex 8 scanned my car and did some other trouble shooting.the code it throws up is P0193 fuel rail pressure circuit high. I have been advised to change the entire pump.car gurus,kindly throw more light that will help me in resolving the issue

sir,what are ur advises? What should I look towards. Let me add that i tried something out today. I switched on the ignition, and loosened the fuel line that goes into the engine and expected fuel to spray around but that did not happen.could it be a bad fuel pump? Or an electrical issue,?

I have a fordfocus 2002 which had an overheating issue which was resolved after replacing the head gasket. However, last week i noticed that the car would go off on the highway while i am on 80km/h or 100km/h.

Also, most mornings it does not start at once and i have to crank it up to 2 times before it finally starts up. My mechanic looked at it and said i should be pouring fuel in the injector/carburator(that part it is like a rubber hose and is connected to the air filter) every morning before starting it.

Also, recently the car will start up after i have ''poured'' a little fuel in it, but will just gradually go off, sometimes i will rev the engine but it will still go off.

I need a lasting soultion to this as i await your honest advises

1st off all remove fuel pump use or any fuse that stops the car from starting thats avoid the car being stolen
did you leave the keys by mistake or in his care ?
if you left the keys by mistake then its your own faulty you have to find people who reprogram an new key or get a full set of an ecu with key and door locks

2 days and still waiting for a miracle with the keys

Left the key for him to change the alternator. he changed the alternator and started searching for the key after installation. i will see what i can do to immobilise the car

I have been having a big problem with my ford focus 2002 model.

i have to turn the key about 3-8 times in the morning before the engine will start.

also, i observe the the car jerks when i am at a speed btw 80-100km/hr and even jerks even more when my fuel drops to about half tank(i am sometimes confused as it looks like the fuel guage is not working and just deceiving me to think that i have enough fuel.Except am at 2/3rd of my tank, i am not confident driving the car. My mechanic says its the fuel filter, someone else says its the nozzles, i dont know what to do as i do not want them just playing around with my cars system.

I will really appreciate your advise

mayor2013: Your fuel guage, heat guage and speedometer, that's a whole lot of work to do. As for stalling while driving run a comprehensive scan that would reveal the cause of that. If you need to run a scan and fix your fuel guage and the rest of all. Reach this number 08165520837 or 08156087872.

I need a good electrical mechanic(rewire). Please it must be referral by experience because I know ford shops but don't wann just patronize anybody. I need to reinstall the my guages I.e speedometer,fuel guage, and heat gauge. Also want him to check my general electrical system. I use a ford focus 2000.its a great ride and want to enjoy it forgot to add that it sometimes goes off while am driving.
