CareerHow To Make Money Today Writing Business Plans For Others by patrick1234(op): 10:09am On Jul 17, 2017
Yes, you heard me right?

For the last 5 years or so, business plan writing for others has been my main source of income in my company,

Today, I have at least two (2) full time staff, several free-lance staff, volunteers and content writers

and I can confidently tell you, there is no waking day I don’t make money, I mean good money from business plan writing.

Over the year, from my interactions with my numerous clients, I’ve come to observe that there is a constantly expanding market for business plan writing.

Moreover, I get client who even though they want quality job can’t afford my fee and sometimes, though it’s hard, I have to turn them down.

And now, I want to dissipate this knowledge to you. Mind you, beyond the experience and practice I have gained over the years in business plan writing, I have consistently updated my knowledge in this area.

Here are five 5 ways to make Money writing business plan for others

1. Write a professional business plan write up for your customers and charge them big on it. They can use it for Grants, loans or Investors

2. Write a Business Plan they can edit. Some people don't have a lot of money to pay for a business plan. But they need samples they can edit on their own

3. You Can make money from business plan, when you apply for grants opportunities or you help others to apply

CareerHelp! I Need A Job! The Cry Of The Average Fresh Nigerian Graduate by patrick1234(op): 5:47pm On May 23, 2017
Entrepreneurship: A viable option for the average fresh Nigerian graduate

Every time I come across a fresh Nigerian graduate who is crying for a job in a bid to succeed, it seems quite an embarrassing sight! To succeed financially in Nigeria, getting a white collar job isn’t about the best option. Except of course you get employed in multinational companies where you are being paid between N200,000 and N400,000 as an entry level, or oil companies such as Chevron and NNPC that pay millions to entry level staffs; and there is a great odd of this being so. Why? Because the number of unemployed graduates (millions) exceeds a few hundreds of such fantastic jobs.

What is the way into financial independence in this country today?

If you don’t want to be among the millions of Nigerian graduates who eventually get paid N18,000 (approximately 50 dollars) monthly – Nigeria’s minimum wage? If you after all, you weren’t lucky enough to pick up a FG job (that’s after hunting for at least five good years and fully paid your dues, you know how it is done in Nigeria, right?) where you take home an average of N75,000 monthly? Then your best shot is entrepreneurship!

Have you ever come to think of this? “If an organization pays N20,000 to its staff, don’t be surprised if the company is making up to x100 of what the staffs are being paid.”

While entrepreneurship can be a daunting task to do, it is very profitable in the long run! While it has its own downturns, it can be a big game changer for you and your family! My post today will focus on giving you the proper mind-set on how to venture into business and subdue impending downturns and difficulties in the journey. Read on enthusiastically!

NYSC10 Techniques To Get A Good National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Placement by patrick1234(op): 3:30pm On Apr 25, 2017
‘Congratulations pal’ on the completion of your studies. You are highly welcome to the job market which constitutes the workforce also known as the labour market. This can be a favour market to you, depending on how you wish to see it and work towards it. Done with studies, ‘Now it’s time to plan how to get a good National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) job which is also known as your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).

Your Place of Primary Assignment is the organization you are posted to as a corp member aka corper in Nigeria for a full year of active service. It serves as your first post-institution job experience which makes it an important section of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and this shouldn’t be taken lightly if you want to get the best out of it.

It is worthy to note that there are several National Youth Service Corp job opportunities out there, only if you can get the correct information at the right time and apply it in the best possible way.

The following benefits are what you stand to enjoy during and after your service year experience in a reputable Place of Primary Assignment:

You could be retained in the organization after you have completed your year of service to continue working with a higher pay, now that you are no longer a corp member.
You might acquire some training from the organization free of charge or at a subsidized rate, since you have contributed your man-hour quota during your service year with little or no payment.
You could get fast connections to other jobs; related to the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) job you just concluded due to your exposure to relevant skills.
Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) would get an additional value from the experience you skillfully gathered and projects you partook during your one year of service.
Your first set of referees could be from your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) which might be changed later as you acquire more years of experience in other organizations.
You have opportunities to be an award winner or an impact maker as a corper with your Community Development Service (CDS) at your disposal. This should be added to your standard Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Jobs/Vacancies7 Best Job Search Moves Of All Times In Nigeria by patrick1234(op): 3:09pm On Apr 25, 2017
7 Best Job Search Moves of All Times in Nigeria

Job hunting could be frustrating and discouraging especially when the wrong moves are made by the job applicants. Job search moves or job seeking is an act of seeking employment when unemployed or a better job is desired, wants a change of career. Sometimes the job applicant might be employed at the moment of seeking for another job. This is commonly due to discontentment, desire for a better job or pay. Therefore, to ease the stress and cut short the frustrating journey of long job search without positive outcome, there are some job search moves or techniques that you as a job applicant can’t do without. These job search moves will ease your journey of searching for jobs with remarkable results.

1. First, I will start with “using newspaper” Even though there is a very wide range of media in which to place an advert for job vacancies, newspapers are still one of the most considerable sources of job vacancies. However, the situation on newspaper varies from company to company. Some companies advertise all their vacant positions on newspaper while some never advertise vacancies using newspaper. In a society where we have changed the direction of our boat to glide on the speed of the internet, many job seekers automatically turn to career search website and also job online search engines. As a job seeker you need to realize that these are not the only option available for job advert. An interesting thing to know is that you must examine the employment section of local newspapers. What you must know is that, though, many companies have started using the internet to their advantage, cut cost and so on. But not all have started! This means that there are great employment opportunities available in the local newspapers. Sometimes, most companies behind this job advert, especially federal government firms do deliberately place advert on local newspapers for their benefits. As a job applicant depending on local newspapers for vacancies is a good job search move as you are open to jobs from various firms, information on how to apply, requirements and so on.

2. Using the internet. The world has become a global village with the birth of the internet. Job search has also become simplified with the availability of the internet. How big is the internet? The internet is one of the latest development in the job hunting market. It is potentially one of the biggest developments in job hunting since its inception. Convenience is an advantage of job search move via the internet. From the comfort of your home, you can access hundreds and thousands of job vacancies. You can search for jobs in your geographical area or explore jobs opportunities in any of the cities close to your geographical coordinate. The good news is that if you embark upon a long distance job search, employers can conduct video interviews. This makes it easy to do an interview for jobs outside your geographical location. Job search move via the internet saves your money. The job search eliminates the cost of printing curriculum vitae (CV) and/or cover letter and also money that could have been paid for postage to mail application packages to potential employers. So, it is best to use the internet in addition to other methods of job search rather than exclusion of other methods of job search.

3. Networking. The aim of networking is to publicise your availability on the job market. Your network determines your net worth! The network you find yourself in has a direct impact on how fast your job search will yield positive result. Networking is a method by which you can find a job by building up a network of personal contact. In simple terms, it is a method you can use to find the kind of job you desire by leveraging on the relationships you have created or by being at the right place at the right time.

CareerThe Top 10 Most Valuable Interview Questions For Job Applicants In Nigeria by patrick1234(op): 9:15pm On Apr 16, 2017
THE TOP 10 MOST VALUABLE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS FOR JOB APPLICANTS IN NIGERIA AND HOW TO ANSWER THEM WELL.

Job interview is one of the recruitment processes basically employed by an employer to select the best applicant for the job or position. It usually is a one-on-one interview consisting of a conversation between a job applicant and representative(s) of an employer which is conducted to assess whether the applicant should be hired. Interviews are one of the most popularly used methods for employee selection.

Why should I hire you?

The easy answer is that you are the best for the job! Don’t be afraid to say so. You then support your statement with what specifically differentiate you. For instance, you can respond this way. “You can hire me because I’m the most suitable person for this job. I realize that there are other candidates who also have the ability to do this job. Yet I bring an additional quality that makes me the best person for the job, my passion for excellence! I am passionately committed to producing truly world class results. For example.................” This you should say with all confidence and be exact on your point.

What is your long-range objective:

your answer here should be to focus on your achievable objectives. For example: within the next 3-5 years, I would like to become the very best engineer your company has; an expert that others can rely upon and in doing so, I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibility which might be presented in the long run. You then proceed further to tell the interviewer(s) this is what I am presently doing to prepare myself...Then go on to show by examples what you are doing to reach your goals and objective.

Jobs/Vacancies15 Features On How To Write A Standard Curriculum Vitae (CV) In Nigeria by patrick1234(op): 5:01pm On Apr 13, 2017
15 Features on How to Write a Standard Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Nigeria

This 15 Features on How to Write a Standard Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Nigeria has been well researched to help you write a good CV.

Curriculum Vitae (CV) is certainly one of the most sought-after documents for all graduates as soon as they drop their pen for the most recent academic feat. In a typical organization, it is surely what represents a job seeker initially in the presence of hiring managers, human resource personnel, managing directors before he or she is invited for further interaction known as a formal interview. A standard CV in Nigeria must show and advertise your past and existing professional skills and experience in a way that demonstrates that you are the best candidate for the position needed. In this article today, I will be showing you 15 features on how to write a Standard Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Nigeria.

The following features are recommended when writing a standard Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Nigeria:

1. Your basic / contact information: These include your name first (boldly written), then your residential address, phone number(s), e-mail address and at least a job-related social media link (such as LinkedIn).

2. Your personal / career objective: This should state your vision for any organization you intend to join. You must show you are ready to add value to the organization through competence and deftness. This should be coined with positive words in a convincing and comprehensive way. You can also use key words from the advertised job position to define your objective. This will show the employer that you are really the ideal person for the position. This will also leave the screening machines with no choice than to get your CV picked. There might also be specific directions listed on the application page to help you know what the company is looking out for.

3. Personal bio data – Your bio data include your state of origin, nationality, age, gender, language, personal interests / hobbies, and marital status. The essence of this section is to further explain who you really are to the reader and paint a positive image of you through your interests. Using bullet points here can help to minimize word usage.

4. Skills – This is the time to write all the relevant skills you have acquired over time. Ensure these skills are applicable to your career and the post you intend to apply for. Technical and soft skills that a graduate or job seeker is expected to have should also be included such as communication skills, quick learning, computer literacy (especially Microsoft office, no organization can do without it), interpersonal skills, creativity and so on.

5. Trainings – Have you undergone any training over time? This section can be a combination of trainings within or outside the sphere of your career. This shows you are open to learning different aspects of knowledge. It gives the reader an impression that you can be gainfully trained by them. The training should be arranged from the most recent to the least recent.

6. Awards / Honours – Are you an award winner? Award winners are likely to make a difference wherever they are which makes them easily singled out for recruitment. You should write any award you have received from time immemorial to date, whether academics, social group, religious group etc. The awards should also be arranged from the most recent to the least recent.

BusinessHow To Write 2017 Tony Elumelu Foundation $5000 Grant For 1000 Africans by patrick1234(op):
Africa’s largest business incubator, The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), is now accepting applications from African entrepreneurs, with business ideas that can transform Africa.

The application portal is open and accepting submissions until Midnight WAT on March 1, 2017.
65,000 Applications were received in the previous editions combined together. Your guess would be as high as mine for the number of Applications that would be received in this third edition; TEEP2017.

Successful applicants will join the third cycle of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme, TEF’s 10-year, $100 million commitment to train, mentor and fund 10,000 African entrepreneurs in every African country. Since inception in 2015, the Programme has assisted nearly 2,000 entrepreneurs and created hundreds of jobs across the continent.

The Programme provides critical tools for entrepreneurial success, including:Training:12 weeks of intensive training on setting-up and managing businesses Mentoring: A mentor will guide successful applicants in creating a robust business plan Seed Capital:$5,000 in non-returnable seed capital and access to a $5,000 convertible loan

TEF Founder, serial entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony O. Elumelu, CON said:

“Our Programme is a deliberate effort to institutionalise luck and provide the essentials for business growth to Africa’s next generation of business leaders. It is a demonstration of my faith in this generation’s ability to transform the African narrative, from the single story of disease and poverty, to one of enterprise and opportunity. Spread the word; we need Africa’s best and brightest entrepreneurs. Their ideas will transform Africa.”
