if you use the right gear box oil you wnt have any gear box problem

swiftycool: Bros if u know u don't like problem on excessive maintenance and services costs just stay with Honda, Toyota or nissan. Honda is the best car I've ever used and still use though toyota has been the second best choice.
Most transmission problems experienced in honda is often as a result of mis-use by owner or in most cases if a tokumboh, probably an inherent problem unnoticed b4 u bought it
Anyone advising u to get a BMW, benz, Ford etc, let dem also tell u about their high guzzling fuel and maintenance wahala. All the formings na wash jor.

My Honda CRV 2004 drive light just started flashing on motion even when I shift to a lower gear, the D light still keeps flashing.
While it does this, the gear doesn't really select, but rather drives at very low speed with the engine revving. At first, switching off the engine for a while fixes this temporarily, but now, it hardly solves the problem. My mechanic is telling me that i need to replace my gear

I AM EXPERIENCING PROBLEM WITH MY 2001 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER.
WHENEVER I STEP ON THE BRAKE IT PULSATES AND VIBRATES AND THE BRAKE PUSHES MY FOOT BACK. I KNOW CARS WITH ABS DO THIS BUT MINE IS JUST TOO FREQUENT. I ALSO NOTICED THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE SPEEDOMETER DROPS TO 20 MPH.I TOOK IT TO DIFFERENT MECHANICS BUT NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ONE SAID IT IS CALIPER PROBLEM. ANOTHER SAID IT IS THE BRAKE DISCS THAT NEEDS GRINDING OR CHANGING.YET ANOTHER SAID THE WHOLE BRAKE SYSTEM NEEDS REPLACEMENT !!!!

DOES ANYBODY HAVE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE? PLS KINDLY ASSIST AS I AM CONFUSED AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

pls i just change d gear of my toyota camry orobo 94 model & my O/D Lights blinks, though it blinks on former which i changed due to oil leakages which burnt d gear box. D blinks comes up wen driving after 2mins and it's very hard for d gear only select 1 to 2, very hard for it to move to 3, wen driving.
Wat might be d problem? Some says it's d gear brain box dat ave issues? Anoda says might be some incorrect connection in d wirin system of car? Pls wat should i do? Bèfore i take a wrong step. Thanks

tuasefemi: Please car experts in the house, my nissan maxima 2000 makes some sound around the front right tyre, most especially on rough roads. I have changed the arm and brake pad but to no avail. I also notice some vibrations whenever I apply brake on high speed. Also, if I hit the tyre with my hand I hear the sound around the brake pad/rotor and my mic says the rotor's still ok.
Could this be a problem with the rotor or something else? Your advice please before I spend my whole fortunes on this. Thanks and God bless!
