Hi everyone, I successfully worked on a project some years ago and posted it here on nairaland (https://www.nairaland.com/1454441/preserve-fresh-ripe-pepper-tomatoes)

The project was designing and building a device that was capable of preserving or elongating the shelf life of vegetable crops/fruits by unusual period of time. Take for instance, this device I built was capable of elongating the shelf life of a fresh tomato fruit by at least 40days and habanero pepper (ata todo) by 3week without the use of refrigerator or chemicals.

Over the years I have worked and improved on the efficiency of this device with prototypes in the area of scalability (now comes in portable mobile and non mobile sizes for easy affordability), durability, number of food crops it preserves, number of things it can be used for, technology (electronic automation) and others. Please help me identify where this rate dragonfly migrated from. I saw this colorful dragonfly in my compound, when I became curious about the specie it belongs to, I brought out my phone and decided to have a close shot of it for easy identification.

An information from my little research has it that this particular specie is called Sympetrum danae, the black darter or black meadowhawk and is a dragonfly found in Northern Europe, Asia, and North America

As anyone found this in his environment in Nigeria ? Is it a common dragonfly In Nigeria or Africa? Could it be they migrated from another continent?

Afternoon

I used to have this good electric stove. It burns so well as if you using cooking gas. After some years of usage the top surface of the electric stove around the circular heater started rusting.

It degenerated to the point where the electric stove became useless (not that it no longer works) because no cooking pot could comfortably sit on it anymore. The whole circular heater had collapsed. The situation became so bad that technicians that are into repairing of electric stove around me could not profer a reliable solution to fix it.

That was when I decided to go into workshop to see if something reliable could be done to safe this extraordinary durable rugged electric stove that has been in my care for over 15years.

It's not rare, they are everywhere, this normal full blown dragon fly, maybe you are used to seeing the adolescent one. They didn't migrate from anywhere, they live in your area, lay eggs and produce offsprings too. A Chinese friend told me that they are delicious... haven't tried it though. Let me know how it tastes.

Did you bother to google those specie names I posted? You said they are adolescent and not full blown? So the ones that are found in Europe that look just like the one I posted here are also adolescent? So when will those ones be full blown adults according to you? Is this your conclusion of statement based on researched facts or mere assumptions?

Nigerians don’t want to research to solve their own problems we always rely on the oyinbos to do it for us. We don’t know what comes into our territory through the land, air and water.
