I am imagining a situation where the government's of most of these ME countries will be pressured to ask America to leave their country seeing how badly some of them have been hit. The US and Israel did not consider their allies in the region before going ahead to attack Iran. This is a badly thought out move. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by patrickmuf(m): 11:26am On Mar 01 |
Now that Khamenei is gone, what next?
I still do not understand the whole essence of the attack on Iran because we have seen this script play put before. Why not go after their nuclear enrichment sites and missile production facilities...
If Iran becomes ungovernable, you can imagine the number of dangerous missiles that will find its way to hard line terrorist. It is even possible that Khamenei will be replaced with a more radical leader and then the cycle continues...
Going forward, will Iran sit on the table with the US again to negotiate? I don't think so because this is the second time that Israel and America have gone ahead to attack Iran in the midst of negotiations... |

daveP: 6 EPL teams. 2 guaranteed exit immediately save a miracle Nigerian duo definitely going to get a combined 8G/A in R16 vs Liverpool and Spurs Barca should take this but Howe knows they well already. Reunion for Kai.
Arsenal has no excuse for both the UCL and EPL fixtures going forward. Let those that blaze in UCL be prioritised for it. Norgaard must play at least 40mins vs Bayer. Rice needs to start getting rest more often
Easier epl last 10 fixtures with only 2 top 6 fixtures left And now easier route to UCL. I know we look loaded but this is why we needed a January buy for moments like this. 4 cups and we in all of em. Marli, Max, and (Nwaneri would have been a sweet addition) are needed. Those teams in the relegation zone are not going to be easy to deal with...I rather play teams in mid-table that have nothing to play for than in team chasing European football or fighting relegation. |

Awesome01: His absence may just bring a better cohesion and solidity to that midfield. Gavi is coming back stronger than before ( I hope) to partner Pedri. And we have the Marc's (Bernal & Casado) to back them up.
The injury may just work in Barca's favour. Is Gavi fully fit now? |
Politics › Re: Electoral Act: Atiku, Obi, Amaechi, Others Hold Joint News Conference In Abuja by patrickmuf(m): 11:27pm On Feb 26 |
These guys are jokers. I expect them to be mobilising their supporters across all the wards at this point...identify the areas where you do not have strength and begin to penetrate those places by identifying and recruiting supporters who will stand by the party during the elections...
The time when all of them should have come have come out to energise protesters and have the protest gain traction across international media platforms, there were no were to be found and those who turned up unfortunately used the opportunity to show that the opposition was not United...Imagine Obi coming out briefly and next, you had Amaechi showing up with his son. Why couldn't they mobilise and take the the streets for days, that was the leadership the protesters needed. |

Next 5 matches will be a big test for him to at least convince me a little You're funny. You keep shifting the goalpost after each game week. At first, you said you were waiting for us to play against teams that defend deep, we have gone away to West Ham and Everton and come out with a respectable 4 pts, but you're again shifting the goal post...Who dey pursue you? |

I remember I mentioned this a few weeks ago
Carrick's gotta manage the available resources at his disposal.
I think his substitutions were spot on and timely Especially that of Sesko...Amad needs to up his game else he might lose out in the long run. |
