I guess people are just deceived by the name, caliber and price tags of our defenders + keeper.

The current crops of defenders at united are average at best especially as a unit.
Collectively, we can do better...

Ganduje is really doing a great job even if I don't agree with some of his moves...

I am impressed.
Kano, Kadunna, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Lagos and Rivers are doing well...

If not for the insurgency, I am sure Borno would have been right up there. Even at that, Zulum is also doing well.

If we end up top 3 with a respectable point gap margin from the top, it'll be successful league campaign for me.

Get in an efficient RW, dependable DM and maybe a fast CB

Meanwhile Walker-Peters no go bad to get as RB option tho. lipsrsealed
I thought about you this morning and was going to give you a mention because you've been scarce here...

I have been following Walker Peters and to be fair, he has been very good this season but I doubt he'll settle for a bench role unless Ole promises to play whoever is on form which I doubt Ole will do.

As for that RW, with Facundo and Amad, I don't think the board will move for another right winger. I'd prefer us to go after a CDM (Ndidi/Bissouma) and a CB (Upamecano) and a back up RB that's if Dalot doesn't return...

Got any news on the rumored deal for that Ecuadorian, Canceido?

We need to win against Wolves lest Liverpool runs away with the title...

I don't want us in that 3-6th mix and the battle for 3rd and 4th will be too very tough...Make we just use style dey follow Liverpool for back so that even if we don't win it, we can end up second. I don't think I am ready to go through the stress of watching this team play when under pressure come May, 2021.

Patoooooo..Thanks a lot baba..I think every Arsenal fan needed this result irrespective of where we stand with regards to the direction of this club.
This is a typical Arsenal performance. After a long spell of posting ridiculous and shameful performances/ results, they show up in one big game and get results. As for Saliba, there is more than we are being told about the kid.
Arteta has to trsut the likes of Mari, ESR, Martinelli etc just same way he shouldn't make the mistake of relegating the bigger boys to the background. There should be a balance somewhere...

I have watched Arsenal come out to play twice this season, the first against Manchester United and today against Chelsea and each time Arsenal play like the Arsenal of old, the ones that rather attack than defend, they've looked the part...

Arteta should trust his players, Mari was good away from the pen. I'd like to see Saliba in action.

Great game you guys played. Congrats Roland17...

Na Fred cause that second goal. Shaw was out of position after marking an opponent. Instead of tracking the run of the attacker, Fred went ahead to mark the same opponent. That resulted in the pass to the dude who assisted the goal.
Thank you. I knew someone ran out of position to mark a player that Shaw was already marking and that created that space for the pass...Just didn't know who it was...

Don’t go there, don’t blame Ole please, the players are not good enough, we need to buy more quality players.
Lol...If you ask them to do a combined 11 of the both teams, you'd see that we will have at least 7 players in the 11 but no, our players are shit... L

James has his issues, but Martial on his bad day(s) literally makes one wonder if there are actually 11 players on the pitch.

Immediately Martial got subbed, the oldie came in and made an instant impact.
Immediately the game started and I saw that Lindelof was the right back, I knew we were in trouble as he will most likely not finish the game with Barnes driving at him and true to my thoughts, he pulled out injured.

Lindelof and James shouldn't have started. You don't play Tuanzebe against Everton as a replacement for Wan-Bissaka and next, you bench Wan-Bissaka for Lindelof...That Everton match was supposed to be a prep for Tuanzebe to man that position until Wan-Bissaka is back fit but Ole had other ideas.

With Greenwood/Cavani starting, we'd have been more dangerous...
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 3:29pm On Dec 26, 2020
This is the same rubbish Ole did against Crystal Palace when he started Tuanzebe and James which effectively killed our right wing that day.

Today, with Lindelof and James, our RW was dead. At least play Greenwood or Rashford in place of James so that if we are defensively weak at that side, we won't be weak in attack...

Bailly was very good today.

At 1vs 2, from my post you'd sense that I don't trust the defense to hold their own...

This one is hard to take, we scored pretty late, all we had to do was see the game out but no, we kept on inviting pressure.

No keeper can save that kind of pile driver from Barnes.

Make una no dey blame DDG.
And y'all saw he had issues with his ribs earlier... Diving would have been hard.

If u watch d replay too.. No player was open for bruno.. Except Rashford.. And d only way he could get the ball was if he Nutmeged dat guy.. We all know how dat went thought..
Bruno lost the ball but then, McSauce should have closed down Barnes quicker...

We ain't actually playing defensively, rather neutralizing Threats from Barnes and Albrighton from the Wings

The Setup is more like 3 - 4 - 1 - 2, not actually 5 - 2 - 1 - 2. If OGS wanna go defensive, he would have played Tuanzebe instead of James.
We could easily have done with Pogba starting ahead of Lindelof with McSauce detailed to cover for James throughout...

Well, let's see how things pan out.

Na it's more like this
I prefer this but I really don't like the idea of playing 3 CBs against Leicester regardless of the fact that we are away from home. I wouldn't mind if we go defensive vs Manchester City or Liverpool but not Leicester...That's too much respect for the foxes...

I am quite confident we will win today...Hopefully our forwards put away chances as they come.
