lekkie073: this shows that you don't have a functional thought process. You will support whoever is coming, then go on to disprove of such if things go south.
Its so easy to sit on a chair and brandish solutions to problems that you are not adept at solving. The last time we discussed this was when OLe left. Ragnick came and you were all over place with optimism until the reality of the situation dawned and you embarked on a crying session.
TEN HAGG came and your optimism level rose, all for it to go south again when the reality of the situation dawned again.
For how long are you going to toe this line of increased-optimism-turned-crying?
Let me tell you what you should just know. Eras come to an end. And it takes a while for a once glorious club to reach its peak again, especially when competition becomes intensified.
The glory years of Liverpool came and gone. The club is trying to bring it back, not successful yet.
The glory years of arsenal as a contending force (under Arsene) came and gone, the club is still trying to replicate such, and it might come soon.
The glory years of Chelsea came with Abrahamovich/Jose. Right now, the club is a shadow of what it used to be.
The glory years of Manchester United came with fergie and ended with him. We are trying all possibilities to get it back, which would not be easy too.
We are in the glory years of Manchester city/Guardiola. It will not last forever, but it will take its rightful course.
No matter how hard we try, there is a high possibility that arsenal will win the epl before manutd in the event of Mancity's eventual decline.
But you may not accept all these because you have been used to seeing winning trophies as an exclusive right of Manchester United. It is not.
Any world class manager with a sense of pride will run away from managerial role in Manchester United because they know it is a hot seat that can put a blemish on their rich managerial profile. To assemble an unbeatable team ( right manager and right players simultaneously) is not a matter of one or two seasons.
If you are blessed with a manager with a proven record and such is not performing in two seasons, calling for his head will only amount to starting all over again. Reflect back on the early seasons of Jurgen klopp finishing in mid-table. Many more indices can be used to understand the present predicament of the club, not just focusing on the managerial roles alone. I know you will disagree if I said our home Stadium is Old Trafford because you are wired to always take a different turn from mine for whatever reason that I care less about... At Manchester United, we do not have the luxury of waiting for decades any longer because we have the finances to get us the best managers and players. I am not against Ten Hag because I hate him but because when I do a comparative analysis of what we spend vis-a-vis our rivals and try to project where we should be, we are far off (It does not even look like we have made a step further). ETH came in and I, like many others were excited based on what he achieved when he was at Ajax not just in the Eredivisie but in the UCL...Has he lived up to expectations? No...We still play like ours is a football club packed with strangers but I should stick with ETH even when I'm certain I'm not God thus can be wrong sometimes...I am happy to disappoint you, I am not that person... ETH has failed thus far because we can't see imprints of his ideas and style and worst of we are not showing any signs of progress...Show him the door! |

lekkie073: you will always complain about any manager that comes. Maybe the board should ask you to personally pick a manager. Then, you will stop being a perennial complainant. How long was Fergie here before he could solidify his stay to guarantee success? Even if I pick a manager and he doesn't deliver, I will still call for his sack...If you have a problem then, that's your headache. |

For Mainoo and Casemiro, we have Amrabat and Mount fit ffs, why's he not trying any of the two..
ETH squad management is extremely poor.. I am quite sure if you go back to last season, you go see where some of us talk am. I don't need a manager to be here for more than a year to decide if we are heading in the right direction... |

Against City/Liverpool/Arsenal, most teams won't attack for fear of the attackers those teams parade...
The best way to defend is to attack. City/Liveepool/Arsenal might win 1 vs 2 and still look more comfortable than Manchester United or Chelsea when they win with the same score line. If your attackers don't make the opponent scared of bombing forward then, your defenders are in for it... |

Looking at the team that played yesterday, it is only Shaw and Martinez that we were missing, whilst they're important players, their absence can not be thee reason why we struggle against Brentford.
ETH has not improved any aspect of our team play and that is why I think he deserves to be shown the door. No excuses. |

He is only talking because he thinks it is a valid excuse for his inability to pay workers but if and when they start receiving all that is due to the state, he won't come back to tell the people. |
