So, guys I'm in a dilemma. In 2021 I bought this piece of land a plot at ifo, ibogun axis very close to OOU Engineering n Social Science Faculty (like 10 mins walk) which was what developer used to draw us in then. Little by little I think mid 2022 I started building a bungalow hostel there, a room self contain 8 units. That's 4 units in each building facing each other on a full plot, 50 by 100. The problem is when I started, Nigeria still dey manageable I just marry I never born. I roofed one side, the other block of flat opposite is at Lintel level already just to roof am. A year plus now I never reach that side, I look up n down, look wetin dey ground say I no sure I go fit finish that place to my taste on time start to collect rent. I decided to put it up for sale and expand my business, over 6 months now no better buyer, the few that came priced stupidly. Nah now I know say no be by buying cheap land, so many things I wish I knew 4 years ago.
Some said it's too far, the only Allure was the close proximity with the University and the fervent house hunting done by students in that axis.

All I spent getting that site to where it is cost roughly, 8.6m ok including the cost of the land which is now 3times what I paid for it 4 years ago. How do I break even at least, even if I lose at least maximum 10% loss. These buyers in that vicinity are not easy to come buy, the ones that even seem serious will price nonsense as if you inherited the thing.
Someone suggested I find car dealers that exchange landed property for a vehicle I can find sell later on that'll hold value (Toyota/Lexus) where will I see those ones now .
Honestly I don tire, I need that place gone. Even if I wanna face the roofed part, there's flooring, plastering, plumbing, tiling, borehole, POP, Fence n gate for privacy. I'm looking at 5m plus on a shoestring budget be that o.

A room self goes for 170-80k per year in this axis depending on amenities. So now 180k X 4 units that's 720k per year, in 5 years that's 3.6m, who knows what the economy will be like in 5 years time.

One thing is for certain, if I no get tens of millions to rebuy a piece land in a somewhat developed area e.g Abule egba etc I will keep my money for something else. Never again!

I gave them the best life, best school, drive to school in the morning n pick ‘em up at noon. I live in a 3 bed duplex, they sleep in aircon rooms. She is with her parents, they moved from ajah to Epe and I don’t know the new address. Yes I have the option to send money to the moms acct without communication as she hasn’t picked my call in 3 months. She petitioned me to human rights and didn’t bother showing up, I drove 4 hours and all ended in futility. How can I seek the help of the court if there’s no address to serve them a notice. This same woman brags around her brothers are rich and she is capable enough to take care of the kids. Just one month of handling bills she run go human rights, I provided steadily for 2 years plus. She knows those kids are my life, the best way to punish me is to take them away.

In my case, I am not allowed access to my children. Infact I haven’t set eyes on them in 4 months. The wife blocked me everywhere, even Snapchat where I saved a video of my kids she got the notification cleared all chats n pics then blocked me. Tarnished my image to friend n family, yes I have a big part in the issue but it hurts me I am not allowed to see my kids. Infact she is planning on traveling out of the country with the kids. To make sure I never see them again. I refused to send any more money until I am allowed at least a weekend per month with my kids and a week stay with me during school holiday. It hurts me everyday when I think of it but what can I do? I currently don’t know thier whereabouts.
