Right from the January 1966 coup, it has always been Yorubas betraying their fellow Yorubas for Igbo love and it still played out in the 2023 presidential election where many "Yoruba but" campaigned and voted Obi who is a horrible candidate instead of Tinubu who is a better candidate but Yoruba to the extent of Tinubu losing Lagos to Obi even at that the Igbos still never loved Yorubas more. On the contrary Igbos started insulting their Yoruba OBIDIENTS and making them feel less welcomed in the OBIDIENTS groups.

Bros it’s not that Igbos can’t love Yoruba, ibos don’t even love their fellow Igbo.
Even him own brother/sister same mother same father the love go still dey conditional. It’s self preservation and I don’t really blame them. After all if you fall today who will help you, even ur family go throway face.

You are right! I dated an Enugu lady and saw how she was condescending to Ebonyi people. I asked why she said they are not as sharp as regular ibos. She say even Imo state folks are generally seen as wicked, I ask Owerri people Abi Mbaise she say the whole.
An anambra man will tell u no ibo people are more hardworking than anambra people. To them anambra nah like special breed Igbo, I go just dey laff say people wey want separation they’re not even United. Why u go say Ebonyi ibo too Dey mumu they no sharp. Say nah Enugu, Abia n Anambra be authentic ibo. Delta Igbo is not even accepted as Igbo people. Strange mentality to have.

Yoruba get their own stereotypes too especially Ibadan people and stealing but not so deep like Igbo.
