Sports › Van Dar Sar Saves A Penalty AGAIN!!! by Paulchris(op): 5:52pm On Mar 12, 2016 |
Van der Sar saves penalty in first game since 2011.
The Netherlands international returned to action for his former side in his first game for almost five years and proved decisive as he stopped a spot kick in a 1-1 draw. Edwin van der Sar showed he still has the magic goalkeeping touch at 45-years-old when he saved a penalty on his first game for almost five years. The former Manchester United shot stopper returned to action on Saturday as he turned out for his former club vv Noordwijk after the amateur side had convinced the KNVB to let him stand in for their injured No.1, Mustafa Amezrine. Van der Sar took to the field in Saturday's clash withJodan Boys in his first appearance since the 2011 Champions League final between United and Barcelona. pic.twitter.com/9GCXf0Rkyz
The current Ajax marketing director was called into action in the first half and proved that class is permanent by keeping out the spot kick with ease, preventing his side from going 1-0 down. However, it was not a perfect performance as Jodan Boys eventually snuck one past the former Netherlands international, though vv Nordwijk were able to recover and earn a 1-1 draw.

Education › Re: JAMB 2016 Should Not Be Scrapped Or Remarked - See Why! by Paulchris(m): 11:18am On Mar 12, 2016 |
glimpse33: JAMB 2016 SHOULD NOT BE SCRAPPED/REMARKED...
I Have Been Reading Online Posts On Nairaland, MySchool & Some Other Blogs, And I Kept Seeing Lazy Users Screaming, Calling For The Scrapping Of Jamb 2016. I Simply Read & Laugh At These Posts.
After This Post, Richiez , olawalebabs , Fynestboi & Lalasticlala Should Stop Paying Attention To Those UnPrepared/ Dull Candidates Calling For The Scrapping Of JAMB 2016. Because, As Far As You Are Intelligent, You Must Definitely beat The Mere 180+ Cutoff Mark, Even If Your Result Was Poorly Marked.
Jamb Has Been In Existence Since 1978. And It Has Been The Only Body Screening Secondary School Leavers Before Post Utme Was Introduced In 2005.
Fast forward To 2015 When CBT Was Fully Introduced, Its Safe To Say That It Was Success. And Now 2016, And I Must Say It Is A Huge Success As Well. For All Those Screaming #RemarkJamb2016 / #ScrabJamb2016, I Am Sorry To Say You All Are Dead Heads, Empty Brain.
Before You Throw Stones At Me. I Also Wrote This Years Jamb And Scored 243, Reason Was That I Prepared 100%. I Got All My Essential Chemistry, Physics, Maths & English Text Books. Plus Downloaded The Syllabus Of Each Subject & Read It Word For Word. (That's The Criteria For Passing JAMB)
I Didn't Rely On Past Questions Like Most Of You Did. I guess That's The Reason Why Y'all Failed. Also, Most Of Y'all Spent All Your Time On Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter While The Wise Ones Was Busy Preparing.
Plus Those Of You Making Stupid Suggestions On Scrapping Jamb, Meaning Whosoever Passed WAEC Would Just Go And Sit For Post Utme. WTF WAEC Is The Most Corrupt Exam Body, As SS3 students No Longer Write WAEC By Themselves. They Now Depend On Miracle Centers.
My Advice To Those Who Scored Below 180 In This Years Jamb Exam Is: Quit Most Of Your Online Activities & LOVE Your Book. For God's Sake What Is Wrong With This Indomie Generation
You Guys Are Just Too Lazy To Read. And It Is The Lazy Ones That Are Screaming #ScrapJamb, While The Intelligent Ones (Me Inclusive) Are Already Preparing For Post Utme.
#Peace!

I Felt That At This moment That Everyone Seems To Be Protesting On Scrapping Jamb, Some Other Persons Were Favored. What's Going To Be Their Fate If It Is Eventually Scrapped
OR
What If JAMB 2016 Is Officially Remarked And You Scored Below What You Got Before because you are favoured and others aren't doesn't mean they didn't do their best........and mind you,you are still half way....dr is still post utme |

Sports › Josep Blatter And Michel Platini Banned For 8 Years by Paulchris(op): 12:57pm On Dec 21, 2015 |
The Fifa and Uefa presidents have both been banned with immediate effect from all football-related activities for almost a decade by the Independent Ethics Committee Fifa president Sepp Blatter and his Uefa counterpart Michel Platini have both been banned from all football-related activity for eight years with immediate effect, the Independent Ethics Committee of world football's governing body has confirmed. Both men were provisionally suspended in October in relation to a payment of CHF 2,000,000 (£1.34m) from Fifa - and authorised by Blatter - to Platini in February 2011. Blatter and Platini claimed this related to work carried out by the former France captain for Fifa between 1999 and 2002, citing a "gentleman's agreement". However, in its ruling published on Monday, the adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee said that the payment had "no legal basis in the written agreement signed between both officials on 25 August 1999". Furthermore, Blatter's assertion of an oral agreement was "determined as not convincing and was rejected by the chamber". The 79-year-old Swiss, who had already announced his intention to stand down before February's FIFA presidential elections, has been fined 50,000 Swiss francs, with Platini fined 80,000 Swiss francs |

dotunson: It does. It means goods bn brought in from outside the country would be more expensive because of the exchange rate. And in a country where almost everything is imported the infeffect on the common man would be felt. Example a ps4 is sold for $400 So as at January $400=80,000 exchange rate $1 to N200 now the same ps4 is still bn sold for $400 but since the exchange rate is now N260 it will now be sold for N104,000 in Nigeria. So you get the drift now? e be like say you don dey save since for the PS4 |
