FashionTinofara: Fashionable Couples by Pauldubez(op): 7:52pm On Jul 09, 2016
"Fashion changes, but style endures" - Coco Chanel

Fashion couples, this one is for you!

It's always a pleasure to see a couple that have an understanding for each other's style, whether they like to colour coordinate themselves, or if they like going for a classical look. Everyone knows two is better than one, and a well-dressed duo makes more of a statement than one single well dressed star.

Let me name a few fashionable celebrity couples; Victoria and David Beckham, Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson, Kanye West and Kim Khardasian, and so on. All these couples have style and my favourite of them all is Kim and Kanye, now I am not a fan of them, but damn they know how to dress. I love almost every look that they pull off, their styles compliment each other so well.

RomanceRe: It Is Never Right To Rape Anyone! by Pauldubez(op): 4:07pm On Jul 04, 2016
Chrisrare:
d best way to curb rape is capital punishment to rapists and women to stop dressing provocatively. If dis 2 things r done, rape incidents will plummet tremendously.
Hi,

I disagree on the dressing part. There are people who have dressed modestly and have been raped. A rapist, regardless of what the victim wears, would still attempt to rape as it is already in his/her mind.

Rather, parents should enlighten their children and raise them to fear God!
RomanceIt Is Never Right To Rape Anyone! by Pauldubez(op):
I was reading a story today on The Times of India, published in 2014, about how 93 women are raped in India daily, and I found it disgusting. This article is not referring to India alone (although they have one of the highest rape cases in the world), but it is used as a reference to other countries in the world where there are high cases of rape on a daily basis.

Personally, I detest rapists as any right thinking person should. How can you subject someone, who is most likely less powerful than you are, to torture, and then carry on with your business whilst the person is in distress? It is very morbid and it has gone on for so long. The 2012 incident in India, where a woman was raped by multiple men and with foreign objects, goes to show how vile some people are.

Why rape someone? What is your motive? Why subject another human to pain and suffering? What happened to self control? Are you an animal? I am not in support of prostitution or masturbation, but I imagine these are preferable to raping an innocent individual.

I heard some disgusting remarks from some men when I was back home in Nigeria; when they saw a lady wearing revealing clothes, they made this remark, "later they would wonder why they are getting raped". Also, one of the rapists in the aforementioned 2012 rape case, while being interviewed on a BBC documentary, blamed it on the girl "for being out at night". What nonsense!! That is a backward and shallow way of thinking, as freedom of expression and movement permits a woman to wear whatever she wants, at any particular place or time. I don't mean women should go naked, and I definitely don't support immoral dressing, but that's not an excuse for rape - no reason will ever be valid for rape! It's like saying you robbed someone because they flashed their wealth - this doesn't make it less of a crime, and you will be jailed for it!
