There are May successes in Onitsha, Aba, Enugu etc… What are you talking abouthuh
We can’t keep shouting marginalization when we’re underutilizing the power we already have. The Southeast is full of enterprising minds and financial muscle, but our leaders and elites have failed to organize that power for regional progress. What individuals are doing alone in business is enough to transform our states yet we see little collective action. The problem isn’t just Abuja. It’s also us. nwokem
owobokiri:
You are the one spilling "nonsense".
Elders of a region should first defend the interests of their region before desperately trying to impress as nationalists. The failure of South East elders is the reason most graduates from the SE have to go to other regions to succeed in life , together with the mockery and taunts that come with it.

Just two states in the north west have almost the same amount of local governments with the south-east. Senators, house of representative members, federal allocations, federal appointments and most importantly, voters/census distribution of numbers(since none of these two exercises are done altruistically), are based on the numbers of states and local governments in a region..

So what is the business of a South Eastern elder in arguing against the repair of a system that has been rigged against his region for the better part of a century!? What kind of warped patriotism is that!? Buhari came ro power and grabbed everything for his people. Tinubu is doing the same as we speak. And a south-east elder is arguing against more state creations because of funds!? Is that his argument to make?

I am more concerned about the additional burden these proposals, if adopted, would add to the lean resources of the nation through the multiplication of administrative costs and further bloating of an oversized bureaucracy.

Noted.

When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hastily and thoughtlessly removed fuel subsidy on the day of his inauguration, he triggered an economic avalanche that has since buried the average Nigerian under the weight of inflation, hunger, and despair…..

Let it be known: Nigerian workers will not be silenced, intimidated, or forgotten. The economic hardship is real, the hunger is biting, and the government has a duty to act, not repress. -AA

I hope this is not the campaign strategy ADC is hoping or planning to use to unseat the President.

cheesy grin grin 85% Lies! Fake News! Its is sponsored by Atikku Yoruba wife. She personally came and knelt down. Throughout Obj/Atiku presidency there was so much hardship i became a commissioner. They never once conducted LGA elections in Nigeria till Tinubu came to power.
I’ve personally spoken to all 200 million Nigerians and they all say Tinubu is doing exceptionally well we just don’t understand his genius strategy of hardship now, prosperity in 2080. Everyone knows Nigerians love pain. TPain is only giving the people what they voted for premium tears n hardship Pro Max deluxe edition.

Nigerian judges always make statements that create more confusion. The judge’s request for an apology is vague and open to interpretation and misinterpretation. The judge has requested a formal apology directed at who now? Is it for contempt of court or for the Senate? Such ambiguity is a recurring issue in Nigerian judiciary. It can inly be interpreted as Intentional

Anambra governorship election is coming up.

Let us see how peter obi will deliver the state for ADC. grin grin grin

Winning election is not about announcement of coalition.

APC was able to defeat Jonathan because of buhari strength in the north and Tinubu strength in the southwest.

Can Atiku away the north, NO. Coalition is dead before arrival.

All these noise about this coalition will die-down in coming months.

Neither Atiku or Obi will be Nigeria president.

This name sounds very familiar, and not for good reasons. If I remember correctly, he was one of the most controversial PROs in recent times very brash, uncout and often speaking without a sense of responsibility or proper understanding of the job. Hopefully, with his rise in rank, his professionalism has also improved. Anyways, the way CPs are constantly being changed is quite concerning. If i am correct, the PSC justified the IGP’s tenure extension on the grounds of continuity and allowing him to fully implement his command philosophy. I assume that If continuity is truly important, then the same logic should apply to CPs to ensure stability and effective policing across the country.

The EFCC’s constant failure to win big cases shows how poorly they are doing their job. Time after time, they lose in court because of avoidable mistakes that just isn’t good enough. Instead of securing justice, they end up embarrassing themselves and wasting public resources. As a matter of fact this reflects a lack of meticulous investigation, poor case preparation, and an ineffective legal team that fails to meet the burden of proof in court. Such consistent failures erode public trust, embolden corrupt politicians in this country, This isn’t just a disappointment; it’s a betrayal of the trust Nigerians have placed in them to fight corruption. If the EFCC wants to be taken seriously, they must step up their game and hire competent lawyers, do proper investigations, and stop rushing to court with half-baked cases.

Foreign AffairsRe: White House Rejects ICC Arrest Warrants For Netanyahu, Gallant. by pavoda: 5:52pm On Nov 21, 2024
The contrasting responses of the United States to International Criminal Court (ICC) actions against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin highlight a clear double standard in U.S. foreign policy.
When the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Putin in 2023 over alleged war crimes in Ukraine, the U.S. praised the move, emphasizing the importance of accountability for violations of international law. However, in the case of Netanyahu, the U.S. has criticized the ICC, questioning its jurisdiction and legitimacy in investigating Israel for alleged crimes in Palestinian territories.

The hypocrisy in these stances undermines the U.S.‘s credibility in championing human rights and the rule of law. It suggests that support for international justice is conditional, shaped more by political alliances and interests than by consistent principles. This selective approach has served to weaken the ICC’s authority erodes global trust.

That's false. Diversity has fueled progress throughout history. From ancient trade routes to modern global cities, diverse cultures and ideas have driven innovation, collaboration, and growth. Human history proves that when people from different backgrounds come together, society thrives. New York City is an example of a global melting pot where people of all races, ethnicities, and cultures live and work together, contributing to one of the world's most vibrant economies.

Pay attention to Minister Wike's well-being. It's crucial for Minister Wike to prioritize his health and seek appropriate medical care if needed.

I only need to review your past posts and replies to others to determine that you don't deserve a response from me. People like you and the minister share a mindset that has held our country back. Unfortunately, if you keep this mentality, the nation will let you down when you need it most. And its a promise! You will go to a Nigerian hospital for a life saving intervention and they will tell you that the equipment is faulty.

It's incredibly disheartening to see Nyesom Wike, someone who is supposed to represent and serve the Federal Capital Territory, wearing a Louis Vuitton Monogram Printed Denim Jacket & Pants worth over $5000. This isn't just about fashion,it's about the message it sends to millions of Nigerians struggling to make ends meet.

Imagine what that money could have done if it was used differently. For example, it could have bought mobile ECG or ultrasound machines for hospitals in remote parts of Abuja or even in his own village. These machines could save lives by providing essential diagnostic services to people who have no other way to access quality healthcare. Our hospitals lack basic equipment, leading to unnecessary suffering and deaths. That money could have been used to provide clean drinking water to communities lacking this basic necessity, improve school facilities to ensure children get a better education, or create job training programs to help young Nigerians develop skills and find employment. These are just a few of the many areas where those funds could have made a real difference in people's lives.

This kind of display is a stark reminder of how disconnected many of our politicians are from the everyday realities of the people they are supposed to serve. The country has never seen such widespread hardship, and it's frustrating to see leaders flaunting their wealth with no regard for the economic struggles of ordinary Nigerians. Corruption seems to be the norm, with no fear of consequences, and no empathy for the plight of the average citizen. Nigeria is living its worst nightmare.

In Nigeria, it's a common trend that when public officials pass away, there's a sudden outpouring of praise and admiration for qualities that were not evident when they were alive. For instance, in the case of Gen Attahiru, who died in an Air Crash attributed to the inexperienced pilots in the cockpit, it feels disingenuous to portray him as solely capable of making a positive impact. The suggested adult dosage ratio for ACT (Artemisinin Based Combination Treatments like Lonart, Coartem, ARMATEM) is 80/480, but the one he purchased is 20/120. Therefore, he will require four tablets to achieve the equivalent recommended adult dose. The quantity of tablets is not the main concern; potential issues may stem from the drug's quality, or, as others have pointed out, factors like tinnitus and other considerations might be contributing to his complaints.
