Proudlyngwa: Collapse Wad it that srrious, once took a cocktail of nescafe gold and black tea, then i allowed the smallest of drops of gin touch my lips for courtesy sake, believe me i sae hell, local medications, tetracycline, et al were wasted on me, guess what, i took typhoid medicine and was fine. Am a ginger freak, as well as into bitter kola, hope all this thinhs dont come back to bite me.
As for that Kenyan tea, how do I get it. Bitter kola works wonders, I take one weekly as my system acknowledges the impact. You can get any of the top quality brand of tea once you have someone flying down to Nigeria from Kenya. |

What sort of medications, am an avid lipton with coffe adict. As for the pepper soup, I just finished nchi anwu with utazi, itry to take it twice a week, as well as drink bitter leaf extract once a month. It was a cocktail of medication as my situation was severe then as I remembered collapsing. I haven't tasted Lipton for years, if you take Kenyan tea then you know Lipton ranks way below. I have access to fresh nchi anwu and onugbu here in Nairobi, so I get to chew few leaves of fresh onugbu at least once a week as it helps the stomach. |

Nickizoe: Guuuid Lawd.. what's that cardamom?? is it in Nigeria?? tell me the Igbo name abeghi I know it is more of an Indian crop but I believe they are Nigerians growing it. I don't know its Igbo name.. Just like the same uziza seeds we use for cooking soups, I add the uziza powder when frying eggs and boil it alongside powder ginger then add fresh milk to the boiling mixture.... it is very relaxing. |

Nickizoe: No way..potatoes is out of it...cut down on french fries...all this fry fry, also avoid alcoholic drink and citric fruits....eat more of ginger tea...Eat bit by bit don't rush your food, don't eat late.. after eating stand upright for about 1hour..don't lay down after eating..... this got me healed without been flown out of the country. avoid tomatoes and Onion's... I take sweet potatoes minimally alongside palm oil and scent leaves. I usually work online from midnight till about 6a.m so usually have coffee beside me but I have now done away with it and replaced it with purple tea laced with Cardamom. |

Proudlyngwa: How did you take care of it. Medication then diet. I now eat less of anything that contains gluten such as wheat, cut down on coffee consumption, no longer eat overnight cooked rice.Tomato consumption is now minimum because tomatoes are very acidic and also cut down on ppotatoes. Am suppose to keep away from spices but that one, I no fit o as am having my pepper soup tonight! On a serious note, the condition can mess up with one's productivity, loosing appetite and throw up what you managed to eat. |
Agriculture › Re: Starting Up My Vegetable Farm Garden From Scratch (ugwu, Tomato, Green-leaf) by Pavore9(mod): 4:34pm On Apr 19, 2017 |
jidestroud: Yes, that was exactly what I did to the tomato (2hrs for the tomato seeds) and soko (lagos spinach was soaked all night). Then I planted in the morning of the next day. For the fluted pumpkin, I sun-dried for 24hrs before planted though. Growing up in Lagos we consumed shoko but back in our village in the East, the locals grew it as flowers that dot the front of their houses and were always trimming them! |
