I think it would not work. MTV producers are looking for Nigerian candidates to star in the first ever global series of My Super Sweet, the reality show that focuses on coming-of-age parties and extravagant celebrations.

My Super Sweet is not funded by MTV, MTV only films existing parties funded by consumers and their families. Applications are open to consumers celebrating their 16th to 21st birthdays.

A ratings hit around the world, My Super Sweet is a fly-on-the-wall TV show which offers access all areas to one young person’s outrageous journey as they plot, plan and prepare for the birthday party of a lifetime.

As My Super Sweet goes global for the first time, the show is aiming to be bigger, rowdier and more glamorous than ever, as MTV sets its sights on sassy, edgy party hosts who are planning birthday celebrations all around the world. For this series, MTV has upped the age limit from 16 to 21, so we could soon be sprinkling sweetness on your 16th, spraying lashing of champagne all over your 18th or giving you the key to your 21st!

From Jos to Lagos, Abuja to Port Harcourt and everywhere in between… if you’re having the birthday party to end all birthday parties this year, or you know someone else who is then MTV wants to know about it…! Fathia Balogun caused a scene at the set of movie producer/actor Muyiwa Ademola recently when she confronted actress Mosun Filani after she got wind of Mosun gossiping at a salon about her borrowing shoes always from another actress Ronke odusanya. After Fathia was told, she took her case to actress Toyosi Adesanya but she asked Fathia not to believe what she was told,certain that Mosun could not say such a thing but Fathia insisted. Toyosi called Mosun – who denied every thing Fathia accused her off. It was presumed that the case was lied to rest as it was resolved by Toyosi but on the said location, Fathia met Mosun with Muyiwa.

She was very surprised to see them together as it was widely reported that Muyiwa’s wife had threatened to use acid on her [Mosun] if she found her close to her husband when reports of their closeness and secret affair rumours hit the press.

Popular Rap Artiste, Da grin’s Car was filled with liquor at the time of the accident.

As at the time when the music industry is still praying for the quick recovery of Tunde , a member of Styl Plus who get involved in an auto crash in Abuja few weeks back, another tragic incident happened at the early hours of Wednesday 14th of April, which involved the prolific rapper, Da Grin. The lyricist was said to have been coming from a night studio session when he ran his newly acquired Nissan Ultima into a parked truck in front of Alakara police station in Mushin. As at the time of the accident, Dagrin was left hanging between life and death before he was rescued by policemen on patrol. The policemen reportedly called his manager, Tunde after finding his number on Da Grin’s ‘last dialled’ list. We gathered that Dagrin was immediately rushed to Tai Solarin Hospital in Olosha where he was given first aid treatment before he was later transferred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) at Idi Araba in Mushin due to the inapability of T&S Hospital to administer needed treatment.

Witnesses have revealed excluseively to Questionmarkmag.com that contrary to the statement by the manager that Da Grin was coming from a studio session for his upcoming album, he was coming from a friend identified as James. We were further hinted that he got intoxicated during his stay with James over the night before he decided to call it a day. A by stander at the scene of the accident revealed that “he must have been drunk and over-speeding because the truck he rammed his car with has been parked at the front of the police station several hours before the tragedy occur, to buttress my point, when we ran to rescue him after the accident, a bottle of Hennessey was found in the car and the whole car was filled with the all sort of liquor induced odour“. Dagrin was said to be in accompany of his close associates, when the accident occured. The damaged car has since been confiscated at Alakara Police Station in Mushin.
