Thanks for the info. I am now in Nigeria. Had to come see my parents before taking off. The dutch embassy in malaysia didn't ask me for birthday certificate of such. The school had already asked for the copy of my birth certificate before my admission was given. The dutch embassy in malaysia only asked for my international passport and 2 passport photographs. In 2days time, I was asked to come get my Visa.

Right now I am trying to book for a flight to the netherlands.I bleeped up big time. I should have done it in malaysia. Everything in Nigeria is just difficult. Klm direct can't even get a one way ticket for student... Asking me for 260k back and flow.

Where is netherland in Nigeria? Could you please give me your number? I need to speak to u.

Thanks.
Hey bro, private message me, you can book your Flight using Emirates, I will give you all the procedures, then you can do it by yourself without any travel agent. I will be flying on 29th August, first 7hrs 45mins to Dubai then takes off in early morning 8:25am to Amsterdam to arrive at 1:30pm. They will just email you the E-ticket after your payment have been done at Access Bank.

TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 1:21am On Aug 17, 2012
shavel: u will receive the e-ticket in your email immediately after making payment, the ticket from their office is the same with the eticket it is just plain black and white document showing your seat number and time of departure with so many other information on it,,,go make payment......no worries bro!
Thanks bro, I will do as you advised. Remember to let me know before your departure. Safe....
TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 10:59pm On Aug 16, 2012
shavel: ur e-ticket js same as ur real ticket, no difference bro..... I was given my real ticket at klm office and the guy told me to check my email for an e-ticket and it appears to be the same with what I have with me. So u can proceed with the payment.
Thanks, so what I have to do is just print the online booking reservation and then make the Payment after which they send me the online E-ticket? Does it mean I will get the mail ticket on the day of departure? I will be making my Payment tomorrow before 1pm. You know am just wondering about the e-ticket stuff. Pls explain better if you can, thanks once again.
TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 8:48pm On Aug 16, 2012
shavel: Well, I can't say which is the safest, I also did my reservation online and I selected pay at klm office as the most preferred mode of payment, I made the payment at klm office, adeola odeku, sapetro victoria island, Lagos
I was told to just go to Citi Monument Bank or First Bank or Access Bank, that I should just tell them I wish to make Payment for my online reservation and they will do the rest after which I receive my E-ticket in my E-mail address. Does it mean that the real ticket will be given to me at the Airport?
TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 5:47pm On Aug 15, 2012
shavel: it cost me 365k from Lagos to winnipeg Canada, I would suggest klm if u have enough fund plus there are still enough space on board for most flights......be quick in taking the decision on which airline to fly
I have done the online reservation and was given till saturday 2pm to have completed my Payment using the bank information given to me. Pls tell me how did you book yours and paid for it? Do you know if doing the online procedure is safe or does it all work the same way? Pls all should advise.
TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 5:06pm On Aug 15, 2012
shavel: yeah! I booked my flight a week and some days ago, emirate is cool as well, I was thinking you would not like to wait long before catching a connecting flight to your final destination.
My school's welcoming day will be on 31st August, and the flight I booked said 29th August to arrive its destination on 30th August. It said that the Flight lives 2:30pm and flies 7hrs 45mins and departs 8am on 30th August to fly 7hrs 05mins. How much did it cost you? What do you still suggest?
TravelRe: Share Your Testimony Here. by pdesmond1(m): 4:46pm On Aug 15, 2012
shavel: why not go with klm?, it's a direct flight from Lagos to Amsterdam.... Am going tru klm next week Saturday from Lagos to amsterdam to Calgary Canada. And it's also very kol on klm and it's a dutch airline
Bro is damn expensive, almost 300k naira. Have you already booked your Ticket? What do you think of the Emirates?

kunlewoye: I got my visa today! Thanks people, you have been really helpful. Main issues I had to tackle were those that pertained to errors on my WAEC cert and not having my old passport which was withheld by the issuing authority during its validity extension. For the former, I got an affidavit from the Federal High court, included the old statements of result for both WAEC and NECO, also stated it in my application. For the latter, I just explained that I did a validity extension becoz my old passport would not cover the duration of my program and the old one was not returned to me. Never forgetting all the advice and suggestions from the guyz on here; Justwise et al. Yippeeeee!!!
Congrats bro!!!
Desmond@ ya you are right! Its hard for black people but sometimes its fun when you are on the right track. There is much racism for black people in Asian countries with the exception of Philipines as far as i know. But somehow its just good to see the world. If you are a tall well built handsome black guy, you hardly see people show racist behavior towards you.. Instead they envy you lol or smile at you somehow. Especially the ladies. In Philipines, i was mistaken for a black American. hahah KOLO PEOPLE.

Anyway, i should be out Asia soon..

Legalized? How do you mean? do i have to do that ? I mean i have my original birth certificate with me. Do i have to do anything? Plz explain to me.

Thanks
That's nice, well I will like to go there maybe on holidays. As for the Birth Certificate, I was informed that before you can register into any community were you will be living you must provide a Legalized Birth Certificate, first will be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then you will take it to the Netherlands Embassy were they will legalize it also at 5,050naira. So you have to ask the school to know specifically. That's it

I should fly on the 26th of this month as i need to be there on the 27th of August. Dont know how its going to be there but i heard its a nice country. Easy to move around as well. Just scared of the cold there lol. I have never been to Europe but man! i have toured Asia like crazy. Now its Europe lol.
My school is starting on 1st sept but the international students welcoming day is 31st August, so I guess I will be departing on 29th August. Have you legalized your Birth Certificate? I heard its fun in Asia but hard for blacks.

btofa: If I were you,I'll just forget about this shit,if she doesn't want to disclose her identity, that shouldn't bother anyone.and I wonder why you have to contact her privately in the first place,I'm sorry I'm sounding this way,but you don't have any proof to nail her a scammer, even if she's got most of this things on google, that she took her time to do it is even a plus to the section.so I'll advice you leave her and let her live with her conscience if she's here to defraud anyone..now you guys have derailed the purpose of this thread.
Firstly, i never added the fellow, she did (if truly a she), secondly i dont have problem with identity, what i don't like is claiming what the poster isn't. The pathetic thing is that this fellow haven't even been to Abuja before, do you want me to ask her just few questions here and now to know the answers? Sorry to inform you i don't turn a blind eye to fraudsters.
