Oga calm down and stop attacking the man sentimentally. His points are very valid and It's not him that wrote the rules. Even though it seems highly unlikely that the EPL body will instigate this measure due to the stealth corruption around them, this is the appropriate punishment that would and should be metted on City if found wanted beyond every reasonable doubt. Something like this has happened before outside England to a major club I think Juventus were they were relegated for breaking certain rules so City isn't bigger than the rules without the usual corruption of course. Remove the usual coded corruption, if City is found guilty of these 115 or whatever breaches to the ffp, stripping them of several titles plus a possible relegation punishment during the period they were found wanting is the expected punishment that awaits them.. So calm down first, City isn't bigger than life now that they are very successfully. Time and chance is what everybody has to shine so let City enjoy it while it lasts. I am a Liverpool fan by the way, have been one for 22 years way before many of you knew City even existed..

Pep won 14 trophies in 4 years but his exploits is more on the Continental Europe than in local Spain.
Unlike in England, even if he fumbles in the Continental Europe,he has EPL in his Pocket.
In La Liga,he won the league in 2008/2009,

The richest club is not Man City, its Newcastle but they are playing according to FFP rules. Chelsea was funded by Russia, Man City UAE and New Castle -Saudi

The richest organic club is Man Utd, they grew their club from ground up.

Ground up is winning titles , gaining title prize money , sponsorship and fan support thru merchandise and tickets

u dont have understanding of what u are talking about.

newcastle have to balance their books and will sell either isak or Guimares to balance their books.

thats why teams fight to qualify for champions league or win titles. you get credited hundred of millions in d club balance book and that reduces ur net spend.

That is why City have been selling players after they were charged by EPL itself.
U dey explain wetin u no know. Hqw many players has City sold between last season n this season? Did stopped them from buying? What we`re talking here is net earning n net spending. It has to balance. And dis earning comes from sponsorship as d guy said, sold players, Ad-ons, ticket sold, trophies benefits etc.

Not wailing just stating facts. Im just telling u what is coming down the pipeline for City. Possibly relegation and removal of titles

Check am na BBC dey write this below
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cgrjv9ydv31o

What are the 115 charges against Man City?
• 54x Failure to provide accurate financial information 2009-10 to 2017-18.

• 14x Failure to provide accurate details for player and manager payments from 2009-10 to 2017-18.

• 5x Failure to comply with Uefa's rules including Financial Fair Play (FFP) 2013-14 to 2017-18.

• 7x Breaching Premier League's PSR rules 2015-16 to 2017-18.

• 35x Failure to co-operate with Premier League investigations December 2018 - Feb 2023.

In total, City have been charged with 115 breaches of Premier League regulations.

Not all of these breaches relate to financial issues. Thirty-five relate to the club's alleged failure to co-operate with the Premier League investigation from 2018 up until February 2023.

The financial allegations go back to 2009 and were highlighted in leaked material published by German newspaper Der Spiegel. City have always said these leaked emails were obtained illegally.

What do the 115 Man City charges mean?
Effectively the charges allege that Manchester City cheated.

We only have the information published in Der Spiegel to go on, but the charges identified allege that:

For nine years to 2017, the club did not provide accurate financial information about their revenue

That from 2009 to 2013, they didn’t give full details of how much they were paying their manager

From 2010 to 2016 they didn’t give full detail around payments to players

From 2013 to 2018 they didn’t comply with Uefa FFP regulations

From 2015 to 2018 they didn’t comply with the Premier League’s PSR rules

And finally, from 2018 onwards, they did not co-operate with the Premier League’s inquiry

Now, if we go back to Der Spiegel, the allegations were around driving more money into the club from owner Sheikh Mansour through fictitious sponsorship deals, paying then manager Roberto Mancini to act as a consultant to a club in Abu Dhabi and giving players more money than was going through the accounts.

In theory, this would have allowed City to sign more and better players than they would normally have been able to.

In the period in question, they won Premier Leagues in 2012 and 2014, finishing runners-up twice, the FA Cup in 2011 – beaten finalists in 2013, and the EFL Cup in 2014 and 2016.

Without the additional money, the argument goes, they would not have won what they did and would not have been as far advanced as they were when Pep Guardiola arrived in 2016 and turned them into the most successful team in the world, culminating in them winning the Treble in 2023.

There are a number of club officials, including director Simon Pearce, chief executive Ferran Soriano, chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak and owner Sheikh Mansour whose involvement is pivotal.

The same is also true of new Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada, who worked for the City group in various guises from 2011 and negotiated many huge deals.

Or you start a business with certified stolen funds and build properties. Was there hard work on your part. Yes but the foundation and source is corrupt to begin with. so it can be taken

Or you build house on government canal, can govt destroy your house.. Yes

U get the point

City has done financial doping which gave them unfair advantage from 2008-2018.. Thats why they started selling their players to clean the books up.

Look at Everton and Nottingham 10points deducted for 2 or 3 charges. Citys own is 115 and there punsihment is relegation according to their countrys FA. No be me talk am

Citys history is relegation and div 2 until UAE bought the club.

Man City is on the level of Burnley and Bournemouth if not for the Sheihk and thats why ppl dont regard them.
They could not win title organically like Man United Liverpool Arsenal, EVerton , etc

They bought the foundation that they are benefitting of.

They and Chelsea are the same. Chelsea sef get level past them.

Chelesea was in top 4 race b4 Abramovich but City was a relegation team, they will go up and go down.

UEFA was going to ban them from Champions league for Financial Fraud

So also Premier League and the matter still dey court.

the verdict will be relegation for City
What a nice submission...

juliuscaesar:
Cole Palmer should have won it, and here's why.

1. Did we expect Foden to score 17 goals this season. of course. Did we expect Palmer to Score 22 goals in his 1st season as a senior player.... HELL NO!!
2. Take Foden out of the Man city team and Man City would most like still be where they are at, at the top of the table. Take Plamer out of the Chelsea team and Chelsea would most likely be in the bottom half of the table. So Palmer, obviously has had more impact overall on his team than Foden.
3. This is Palmers first full season as a senior player, and he is the 2nd highest goal scorer in the league. A league blessed with established attackers like Salah,
Saka, Isak, Watkins, Rashford etc.
4. The player of the season is chosen based on a players impact for their club and the league in general. No one can argue that Palmer has had more impact overall than Foden. Most good players would do what Foden has done in Man city this season, but not all good players would do what Palmer has done at Chelsea deserve.

Man City doesn`t build a team round a player n he (Foden) was able to score such number of goals but Chelsea was somehow centred on Palmar since he signed for Chelsea. How many penalties did Plmar played if number of goals is what we`re talking about? Foden played zero penalty n has 8 assists n most time played out of his natural wing this season. If not him, Rodri should be considered before Plmar sef
