They are now set to meet Switzerland (another mid-table team in the quarter final. Columbia would have been a much more tougher contender. The only time they are going to be tested would be in the Semifinal against either of Belgium and England.
Even though Egypt were robbed tonight, losing a two-goal lead at that minute is just inexcusable and highly ridiculous. The same criterion that made the referee to cancel that beautiful goal from Egypt should have applied to Argentina if there was fairness. They were even carded for complaining and asking the ref to go check VaR🤣
Africa should be banned from participating in the tournament at least, for now because they we are just not competent.
