If INEC ever issued a notice before the election that it would not use electronic transmission of vote results during the general elections, why then did it use electronic transmission of vote results in all the elections, except for the presidential election, but gave excuse of GLITCH for not using electronic transmission of vote results for presidential election?

INEC OFFICIALS ARE LIKE LIARS WHO NOW HAVE NO OTHER METHOD TO COVER THEIR LIES.
We all know that there have never been a free and fair election in Nigeria but we're trying to educate people based on the standing of the law, not emotions that PDP has no case here. Electronic transmission of results as I said before is not a rigid rule.

The biggest mistake Atiku/Obi made is to rush to court and then allow INEC/Tinubu get on the defensive lastly. I know Atiku isn't really serious about his court case, but Obi assuming he had a case to really prove shouldn't have rushed in to present first. But then again, that would be an impossible procedure in court. When Tinubu starts his defense this week, he's just going to look for 1000 different loopholes in the "evidences" presented and knock out all their cases before lunch break.
Obi allowed emotions and the energy of his headless mob push him into political irrelevance. He had a great support and goodwill from well meaning Nigerians in the onset till it took a dark turn by his followers. I heard someone presented the EU report released recently as evidence. Such a huge joke! Where was EU report when Trump Supporters were hijacking the US Capitol the other day? France is burning today right under their nose, but they can't write a report too. Clowns.
I personally find it very irritating seeing this fools commenting on Nigerian internal matter as if we're their appendage.

You two are saying the same thing, that of those places were resisted but INEC chairman preferred to announce his by midnight and asked the parties involved to go to court .

He announced an already prepared results hence they are struggling with the uploaded results on irev.
Big man, it's not the same thing.

WATCHOVER:

Comon! The result INEC published in their server and the one they called did not corelate, so that alone is enough for INEC to loose in court, there is what we call integrity. My verdict is INEC lost this First Case

Why for the issue of INEC changing the guidelines before the election after investigation my Verdict is INEC actually announce the change of guidelines so INEC won this second case.
But still on still the result may be recounted
How many PUs transmitted their results on the day of the election?? Why there won be different? The major means of results coalition is manual. You read your constitution.

Inec failed again ,all we are talking about is electronic transmission of Pu results for all to see before announcement,if that was done it will be difficult to announced another person a winner because everyone would have seen the results from each state.
Online transmission of results is not a rigid rule. It lies within the jurisdiction of INEC to use it or not. Know your law so that you won't hope on nothing.

You’re wrong. What happened in Enugu and Abia states is one party trying to inflate the figures to gain advantage over the others.
Even our Electoral Act and the constitution explain how results must be collated.
Don't mind him. I hate it when someone comes online to say what he doesn't know boldly.

igwebuike01:

INEC lawyers are clueless. Nobody is talking about electronic collation. Real time transmission of photographed or scanned results sheet into irev is for cross checking the manually collated results and no final announcement is to be made until they tally, that was what delayed announcement in Abia and Enugu guber Elections
What delayed Abia n Enugu is the discrepancy between number of BVAS accredited votes and number of casted votes, and that's note the case here.

You're joking!

A simple majority of two senators is enough for the opposition to push for another senate election to remove Akpabio.

Sometimes I wonder where you get your political knowledge from. Cause you often sound like someone who has very faint insights into the Nigerian constitution.
Election is different from impeachment.

You people give too much credit to Bola Tinubu. Before his emergence in the political scene, there were other politicians.

What makes you think Tinubu has the influence to decide for Legislators from his abode in Aso rock? See, Northerners can die for tribe and religion, but not for money. This particular issue is being pushed on the altar of tribe and ethnicity. The North is already starting to feel disenchanted that the region is being left out of major seats in the country's leadership. Now they're playing the tribal card with the politicians they have left in the current Government. And believe you me, there's no amount of money or material inducement Tinubu can give to any current Northern politician that would sway him to betray the interest of his region.

This particular one, might sadly prove to be beyond Tinubu's control.
Just be there speaking for the north that you don't know anything about. Ascribing every loyalty to bribe will make you not to learn. Just grow up to reality.

It's not beer parlour gist. I live in Abuja and I'm quite privy to political developments over here.

I'm actually more concerned about how this information got to the media space, cause it's been a well guarded plot. Looks like one of the senators in the inner circles has close aides who cannot put a lock on their lips.

There is a grand scheme to topple the current leadership of the senate through a democratic process. It is being spearheaded by the current Northern politicians. They have been berated by the old Northern order, that they're so docile to the point they're allowing the South dominate their region politically, in this dispensation.

So they have opted to stage a legitimate resistance by courting the majority in the red chamber and they're doing this by any means necessary, even through humongous bribes. Trust me, if Godswill Akpabio doesn't up his game in the days ahead, he'll lose that Senate Presidency and the North will take over control of the Legislative. They've seen it as the best way to have a firm grip on the activities of this current government.
Otilo! They can't do pim. Tinubu is far ahead of them. He's not that dance that left Aso rock last month.
