🚨 PLEASE READ — THIS HAPPENED TO ME ON MAY 16th😭💔

I mistakenly transferred ₦9,999.99 to the wrong PalmPay account — 8036414855 name Chinwe Marthagloria iwuanorue instead of 8039414855 money meant for my mother’s medication.

The moment I realized the mistake, I quickly called the recipient politely and explained everything. I told her the money was not ordinary money, but part of the fund for my mother’s drugs.

At first, she denied owning a PalmPay account.

Later, she asked me to send her mobile data so she could “check the account.” Because I was desperate and hoping she would help, I sent it.

After that, she switched off her phone.

I kept calling for hours. When she finally answered again, she told me never to disturb her and ended the call.

Honestly, this pain is different.

Not because of ₦10k alone, but because humanity is fading. Imagine hearing that money is for someone’s medication and still deciding to keep it.

Please, always double-check account numbers before sending money. One small mistake can become a painful experience.

And if you ever mistakenly receive money that does not belong to you, please return it. One act of honesty can save someone’s life, reduce someone’s pain, and restore hope in humanity.

Good morning nairalanders. Someone stole my phone and laptop last week Thursday. I didnt intend to track the phone initially until I retrieved my line and got to my inbox. I now discover that the person has recharge airtime of #15k+ on my line though my wema bank account and then transfer the airtime to another number. I called mtn customer care, they gave me the phone number where the airtime was transferred to. Please how do I track the number and get the culprit. Am at Ibadan. Thank you
