AmBeautiful: My dear, when eating in public, fastfood, events, e.t.c, you don't clean your plate, its wrong etiquette.
If you don't know, am telling you.
You should leave grains or whatever scattered neatly on your plate and then turn your cutlery downwards on the plate and the edge of spoon or whtever u used, resting on the table or tray to indicate you have finished eating.
Its not just a date thing but general. Even if you have been doing it before& were never corrected, then maybe you have never been to a very big function,like corporate functions or something like that.
Please if you dey clean your plate before,refrain from it.but feel free to do it at home.
