Almost a week after Basketball legend Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash alongside his daughter, Gianna, and 8 others, singer Brandy has now come out to send her condolences to the family of Kobe.

Kobe and Brandy were friends while he was still alive and she was his former prom when she was much younger.

Brandy’s friendship with Bryant dates back to the 1990s, when she confessed to an interview that they once went to prom together.

Nicki Minaj has been spotted for the first time since her brother was sentenced to prison for raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

The ‘Queen’ rapper, 37, was pictured during a night out with her husband Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty, a convicted sex offender, as they went clubbing in Miami, Florida on Wednesday.

For the outing, Nicki donned a skintight white co-ord that featured tight grey leggings and a small top with white heels.

The rapper also took Instagram to share photos of her outfit as she cuddled up to her husband, who was convicted of attempted rape in 1995, and placed on the sex offenders register.

Soulja Boy has been sued by Kayla Myers, the lady he described as his bitter ex-girlfriend over an alleged kidnap and assault.

Kayla accused the rapper of bashing her head “with a large gun” and telling her she was going to die after she got into a heated argument with one of Soulja’s female assistants after a party at his Malibu home on February 1, 2019.

The lady who alleged that she was knocked to the ground when she attempted to leave around 2a.m, said Soulja Boy who came to the scene of the altercation kicked her in the stomach, bashed her in the head “with a large gun”, told her she was going to die as he held the gun to her head, before telling his assistant to drag her to the garage, tie her up with duct tape and give her a shower.

Migos rapper, Offset was arrested and detained by cops following a report of a person with a gun at an L.A. shopping center. He was eventually released hours later.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said a call came in just before 8 PM on Wednesday, January 29, of a person with a gun inside the parking structure at The Grove shopping center.

The person who had the weapon allegedly fled the scene, and Offset and members of his entourage were detained by police officers and an investigation began.

Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for repeatedly raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

Jelani who was handed his jail sentence by Judge Robert McDonald in a New York court on Monday January 25, was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

Though Nicki Minaj’s brother repeatedly denied the allegations, claiming the story was concocted to extort his famous younger sister, his stepdaughter took the stand in a 2017 trial to narrate how he raped her in their Baldwin home while he was married to her mother.

Three US firefighters died while battling a huge bushfire in Australia when the C-130 tanker they were flying crashed in the southern section of the country on Thursday, January , 23.

The firefighters were killed in the crash after leaving the town of Richmond in the New South Wales state on a firebombing mission around the Snowy Mountains, local officials said.

Rescue crews rushed to the area on Thursday afternoon but found no survivors among the wreckage. The bodies are yet to be recovered.

“Unfortunately, all we’ve been able to do is locate the wreckage and the crash site and we have not been able to locate any survivors,” Rural Fire Service Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons said after the crash.

Tene John, a Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) lecturer has been sacked by the institution’s management for sexually assaulting one of his students Ms Anjola Ogunyemi.

The student disclosed that she was sexually assaulted while alone with Mr Tene in his office. Ogunyemi said the randy lecturer who tried to forcefully have sexual intercourse with her, freed her after she promised to allow him have his way next time.

Though the lecturer denied the allegation, the Registrar of the institution confirmed he was sacked after being subjected to a probe.

“Our attention has been drawn to a post on the social media, by one of our students, Ms Anjola Ogunyemi in National Diploma One, alleging sexual harassment against one of our part-time lecturers, Mr Tene John.
