If you believe there is no Jesus Christ, do you believe there is Mohammed
do you believe there is Confucius and do you believe there is Carl marx.

Even in the IFA panegyrics and study, there is a odu that back the existence of Jesus Christ.

KingSango:
How come you loyal Yorubas, who honor tradition, and are most noble, don't put these Yoruba traitors on blast. Those seeking to undermine Yoruba states anymore than they have been already by colonial invasion, slavery and Christianity. There's no logical debate for these traitors because by calling themselves, "Yoruba", means they are subjects of the Oba of Oyo. Yoruba means subject of the Oba of Oyo just like Nigeria means, "Niger Area". There are several Yoruba states historically, Oyo is the central state of an empire that contained other Yoruba states, Ile Ife is a town. Ile Ife is a town not a city and only a city can become a state.

In ancient times African royalty only married royalty so as to keep their blue blood untainted. Oraniyum married the princess of Tapa/Nupe and she became his first wife that gave birth to Ajaka and Sango, plus other children. As we know both Ajaka and Sango were Ibeji and both held the throne of Oyo as Alaafin. The Alaafin means owner of the palaace, so the palace guard were the police force and security of the state of Oyo. This security force could arrest anyone the Alaafin wanted arrested. Also the Alaafin had the responsiblity of protecting Ile Ife, the sacred city, by dispatching the palace guard and army of Oyo. Ile Ife had no palace and no palace guard. Ile Ife didn't get a palace until Oba Adeyemi I, the grand father of the current Alaafin, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyemi III, built the palace in Ile Ife. Oyo state surrounds Ile Ife so Ile Ife is not the center of Yoruba culture, Oyo is the center. Oyo is the center of Yoruba culture like Bejing was the capital of the China Empire, which also gave birth to all the culture of Korea, Vietnam and Japan. The current dialect of Yorubas comes from Oyo city dialect, the clothing, prayers, Orisha worship, and many cultural nuances of Yoruba people stem from Oyo city where sits the Alaafin and the Oyo Mesi and Oyo Mesa. Ase.

Besides the Alaafin the Ogboni are the real rulers of Oyo Empire including Ile Ife. Ase. Love, Sango.
I always love the way you talk about history authoritatively on Nairaland....it makes me happy of being an Oyo descendant.

Will there ever be a blue tomorrow?
We've waited so long
But we'd wait for ever
Our blood is blue and
We would leave you never
And when we make it
It'll be together, oh oh oh

So sad youths of nowadays don't care about to know about history and personality of great minds like Malcom X, Marcus Garvey and the likes.
I do feel elated that the great Malcolm X has been to Nigeria before and even to the University of Ibadan where he was given the name Omowale.

So what about the Obelisk similarities between the Oranmiyan obelisk and the Ethiopian Obelisk ?
What about Yoruba words like Oranmiyan,Oromodiye (a day old chick), Apata(stone or rock) which actually means Peter or petra in Hebrew .
Can we decipher any puzzle from this.
Culture › Re: Pictures Of Some Of Ethiopia Past Rulers by Pearlyakin(m): 4:34pm On Apr 27, 2017
I think there are some puzzle that we need to solve, am actually a Yoruba, and the first black rabbi in the person of Rabbi Arnold Ford Josiah from Barbados claimed that his father his from Yoruba tribe while his mother his from Mende tribe in Sierra Leone, and according to Wikipedia source both Marcus Garvey and Martin Luther King Jr are also of Mende tribe.
Arnold Josiah Ford also went to Ethiopia to crown Ras Tafari (Haile Selassie) as the Emperor of Ethiopia and as a the chosen one for the black race.
According to some heresay Yoruba's share some ancestral DNA with the Oromo, you can verify that through the Oranmiyan Obelisk and the various Oromo Obelisk in Ethiopia and Sudan(Ijebu's claimed that they are from Sudan)
According to Mr Hati from Ethiopia Haile sellasie is majorly of Oromo tribe if am right.
That show's that there are some things that need to be unravel, and what about the bilikisu sugbo eredo in Ijebu.
Its just a puzzle indeed.

That's so unfair, from a fellow kinsmen forming such a blatant lie against the Yoruba tribe.
Remember our culture and tradition right here is not a mixed form like theirs over there in Cuba that has been mixed with Christianity,Catholicism and other tribes.
